It was only recently when the makers and cast of Netflix’s The Archies unveiled the entire music album at a grand carnival event in Mumbai. As much as the fans were awestruck by the performances of its cast members including Dot (Aditi), Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor, Mihir Ahuja, Suhana Khan, Vedang Raina and Yuvraj Menda, it’s the film’s music that has managed to create quite a stir in the music scene with its ‘60s rock and roll vibe.

The song ‘Dhishoom Dhishoom’ from the film has opened to great response to the music, and the song’s choreography has also impressed the audiences. Set against a high school, the song features the female cast skating with co-actor Agastya Nanda. The makers of the Zoya Akhtar directorial have now given a sneak peek of the ‘Dhishoom Dhishoom’ song. In a new BTS video, Suhana Khan, Dot and Khushi Kapoor can be seen preparing for the song during their roller-skating rehearsals. A candid glimpse of the challenges and difficulties faced by the actors finding their balance, the video showcases them playfully falling while on skates, further adding authenticity to their moments.

Impressively, their determination led them to master their moves, which can be seen in the song. Sharing the video on social media, the girls wrote, “Pulled all punches for Dhishoom Dhishoom.” Appreciating their effort, Director Zoya Akhtar commented, “Bravo girlies!!! For getting up each time you fell. Respect.”

This live-action musical transports viewers on an enchanting journey back to the captivating era of the 1960s, set in the fictional hill town of Riverdale. The film is produced by Netflix India, Tiger Baby, Archie Comics and Graphic India.

The Archies will be released worldwide on Netflix only on December 7, 2023.

Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh was honoured at the third edition of the Red Sea International Film Festival in Saudi Arabia. Over the course of 10 days starting from November 30 to December 9, the festival will celebrate the local and international filmmaking talents. Along with Ranveer, German actress Diane Kruger and veteran Saudi writer and actor Abdullah Al-Sadhan will also be the honorees. On the first day of the event, Ranveer was in attendance at Jeddah for a conversation followed by which he attended the red carpet on the opening night.

At the event, Ranveer opted for an all-black look for the opening ceremony. Presenting the honour to Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani actor was Sharon Stone who took to the stage and said, “I have had the exciting pleasure of meeting Ranveer Singh before. What a great guy! He is truly an all-rounder creative genius. It gives me genuine great pleasure to welcome him to the stage to receive yet another prestigious award.” In the video, Ranveer seemed overwhelmed by receiving an award from Stone.

Animal: Alia Bhatt shares first review of Ranbir Kapoor starrer; calls it ‘khatarnaak’

Following two weeks of promotions, actors Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Rashmika Mandanna’s film Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, has been released in the theatres in India and abroad today. The anticipation has been at an all-time high. On Thursday night, the film premiered for the film industry where Ranbir’s wife, actress Alia Bhatt was also in attendance. And she has shared the first review of the film.

In a video shared by a paparazzo on Instagram, Alia Bhatt responded to a question about the film. She called it ‘outstanding’ before she said, “Khatarnaak.”

In a recent conversation with Variety, Ranbir said, “My character in Animal shares some traits with Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s protagonists. He is indeed tough and uncompromising in certain aspects. But he is also multi-dimensional and complex, with moments of vulnerability and internal conflict that make him more relatable and human.”

Talking about this, Karan Johar said, “I know when my dad passed away, it was kind of a young death and he had so much energy. I remember feeling a lot of love from both of you. You all were there, there were no questions asked, you all were just there. Like right through, I knew he had a special place in his heart for the both of you. He loved you both. I think it was because it was his son’s first movie and also because he had known you as a child. He has seen you grow up. I think he would say the most wonderful things about you both. I think, like you rightfully said, it’s a tough time when you lose a loved one, that you kind of set a relationship.”

Adding to it, Rani Mukerji said, “Also there is a difference when you are 17 and when you’re 40. You grow wiser as people, you also learn to not bother about the little things in life and it’s always the bigger things. I think people take advantage of the distance. People from the outside talk too much and the distance grows further apart. You will seldom find people who want people to come together. You will always see people wanting to break people even further.”

Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda recently made headlines by revealing his upcoming marriage with actress-model Lin Laishram, who hails from Manipur, Northeast India. Now, the actor is married and shared pictures from his traditional Meitei ceremony which was held on November 29, 2023. The wedding festivities took place at Chumthang Shannapung Resort in Imphal.

Upon sharing the photos, Randeep Hooda wrote, “From today, we are One.” For the wedding ceremony, Randeep wore a traditional white outfit with a shawl. Lin was dressed in Polloi, a traditional skirt made up of bamboo and thick cloth which was embellished with gems, and shimmer and was made up of velvet material.

As reported by Hindustan Times, Randeep Hooda talked about getting married, “Feels very good. I felt that it was only respectful to come and marry in the bride’s tradition. However, I have heard that in Meitei love marriages, the groom has to sit for a very long time. So, that’s something but I am looking forward to the ceremony and traditions. I want to experience my life partner’s culture. That’s why I am here.”

Randeep added, “I hope I don’t make any mistakes. And we have been talking about their culture, Manipuri culture and all that for a long time. I am looking forward to it and hope that all goes well. I am praying for our happy future and lots of kids and lots of abundance. Yes, it’s east meets west. It’s like a traditional or cultural exchange. We have been friends for a very long time. We met when we were in the theatres. Since then, we have had a great friendship, which we are now making into a family.”

Lin revealed how she met Randeep. She said, “We actually met at Naseeruddin Shah’s theatre group called Motley and he was my senior. That’s where I met him. We were friends and it’s turning into a beautiful journey.”

Makers of Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal built 500 kg machine gun from scratch, the actor says, “It was a great idea that Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Suresh Selvarajan had”

Actors Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Rashmika Mandanna’s upcoming film Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, is all set to release this week. With only a few days left for the release of the movie on the big screen and it set to clash with Vicky Kaushal’s Sam Bahadur in theatres, the anticipation is at an all-time high. The trailer gives a glimpse into the hyper-violent crime saga led by Kapoor. In one of the scenes, Ranbir is seen using a machine gun. Turns out, it is not VFX but was made from scratch.

The makers of Animal recently attended a promotional event in Chennai ahead of the film’s release. At the conference, they were asked about the trolling for the machine gun and Computer-generated imagery (CGI). However, Animal production designer Suresh Selvarajan clarified that the machine gun, which weighed 500 kg, was built from scratch over a period of four months. It will reportedly appear during the 18-minute interval block. “I never saw such a thing happen for any Indian film. It was Sandeep’s vision,” he reportedly said.

Ranbir also added, “I remember the first time Suresh Anna showed us the war machine, I was shocked. He created it from scratch. It is such an original piece. It was a great idea that Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Suresh Anna had.”

He further said, “We are not shooting with actual guns. We have to pretend, imagine that if we are operating a machine so large, what would that do to our body, and our ears because we have to keep shooting for hours. I really had to imagine that because the bullets were coming under siege, they were not real. That is the magic of movies.”

Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal becomes fourth Indian film to release in Bangladesh: Reports

Actors Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Rashmika Mandanna’s upcoming film Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, is all set to release this week. With only a few days left for the release of the movie on the big screen, it is being reported that Animal is set to release in Bangladesh.

For unversed, Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan paved the way for Hindi films to release in the theatres in Bangladesh. This was followed by SRK’s Jawan and Thalapathy Vijay’s Leo. Now, Ranbir’s Animal has become the fourth Indian movie in history to be released in theatres. It also apparently becomes the second movie after Jawan to be released on the same day as the rest of the world.

Mahesh Babu calls himself ‘a fan’ of Ranbir Kapoor at Animal pre-release event: “He is the best actor in India”

Actors Ranbir Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Rashmika Mandanna’s upcoming film Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, is all set to release this week. The trailer was unveiled on Thursday, November 23 in New Delhi followed by a music launch on November 24 in Mumbai, a press conference in Bengaluru and a pre-release event in Hyderabad on Monday, November 27. At the pre-release event, fans saw the presence of Mahesh Babu and SS Rajamouli.

“I have told him before when I met him but I don’t think he took that seriously. I am a huge Ranbir Kapoor fan and in my opinion, he is the best actor in India,” Mahesh Babu said on Monday which left Ranbir smiling.

Ranbir Kapoor brings back Rockstar vibes with ‘Hua Main’ & ‘Joh Bhi Main’ at Animal music launch, watch videos

Actors Ranbir Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Rashmika Mandanna’s upcoming film Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, has already left fans on the edge-of-their-seats. The trailer was unveiled on Thursday, November 23 in New Delhi. On Friday, the makers launched the music album of the film in presence of fans.

In a videos accessed by Bollywood Hungama, Ranbir Kapoor and Bobby Deol were seen dancing together on stage, grooving to the beats of ‘Duniya Haseeno Ka Mela’ from Gupt: The Hidden Truth. Later on, Ranbir was seen joining singer Raghav Chaitanya on stage who crooned ‘Hua Main’ for the album. Ranbir sang along a few lines. He also lip synced to ‘Joh Bhi Main’ from Rockstar bringing back those vibes.

Three days ago, it was announced the film has been given ‘A’ rating Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) with the runtime of 3 hours and 21 minutes.

Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar’s T-Series, Murad Khetani’s Cine1 Studios and Pranay Reddy Vanga’s Bhadrakali Pictures have backed Animal. The film is in the crime drama genre and promises to take viewers on a thrilling ride on 1st December 2023.

Animal Trailer: Alia Bhatt, Prabhas, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and others can’t stop gushing about the Ranbir Kapoor starrer

Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal has been garnering quite a bit of anticipation ever since its inception. From its unique title to the fresh pairing of Ranbir with Rashmika Mandanna, the film has been in news for quite some time. Ahead of its release in the next couple of weeks, the makers decided to treat fans by sharing a sneak peek into this world of the crime drama by unveiling the trailer on Thursday, November 23. And it seems that it has garnered love across the fraternity as many actors including South superstar Prabhas, Ranbir’s wife Alia Bhatt and cousin Kareena Kapoor Khan have taken to social media to talk about the film.

After the release of the trailer, Ranbir’s doting wife Alia Bhatt took to Instagram to repost the video clip along with a lovely note as she cheered her husband in the film. She captioned it saying, “Can’t really type a full caption – too busy watching this trailer for the 7000th time. My mind is officially blown. I need to watch this movie. Like now. ANIMAL: setting cinemas on fire from the 1st of December. Brace yourselves” The post also received a lot of love from other celebrities who also shared their excitement about the film. Among them were Karisma Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, Aditya Seal, singer Tulsi Kumar who showered their love on the trailer.

On the other hand, Ranbir’s mother also reposted the trailer on her social media handle saying, “Goosebumps” and also added a few emojis. Celebrities like Sonali Bendre, Maheep Kapoor and her husband Sanjay Kapoor, Ranbir’s sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahani, among others also dropped their comments on the clip.

Besides them, actor Prabhas, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Soni Razdan also shared about the trailer on their respective Instagram stories. Kareena posted a short clip from the trailer, appreciating Ranbir and the film, saying, “There is only one Ranbir Kapoor <3 <3 (firecracker emojis) And my most favourite @anilskapoor And congratulations to the entire cast and team. Stellar trailer. Congratulations” and tagged Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, and filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga in the post.

Prabhas added, “What a trailer, what a feel, Extraordinary… Mental… Congratulations & Can’t wait for #ANIMAL”. The Kapoor boy’s mother-in-law Soni Razdan also dropped her love as she wrote, “Ufffff…. Our smashing Hero! <3<3<3 (party, firecracker, and locked fingers emojis) Everyone is looking fantastic! Eagerly awaiting this one…”

Animal is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga with Anil Kapoor playing Ranbir’s father and Bobby Deol as the antagonist. The film is slated for release on December 1 in all South languages as well as Hindi.
