Halo Series Gets March Release Date on Paramount+

The live-action Halo series officially has a release date. Hours ahead of the release of a new trailer for the series, the official Halo account tweeted a video ad promoting the full trailer's launch. While including some snippets of the show, a narrator also announces in the video that Halo will premiere on Paramount+ on March 24, 2022. You can watch the official announcement below.



Howard Hesseman Dies, WKRP in Cincinnati Star Was 81

Veteran actor Howard Hesseman has passed away. Per Variety, the prolific character actor, who's best known for his role on the classic series WKRP in Cincinnati, died on Saturday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Los Angeles due to complications from colon surgery he'd undergone last summer. The actor was 81 years old.



John Mulaney Set to Join Saturday Night Live Five-Timers Club

Comedian John Mulaney will be joining the Saturday Night Live Five-Timers Club in February. Per TVLine, Mulaney is scheduled to return as host for the long-running sketch comedy series on its Feb. 26 episode. LCD Soundsystem also returns as the musical guest after a previous appearance in 2017.



Percy Jackson Author Rick Riordan Shares New Details About Disney+ Series

For several years fans of the popular children’s book series Percy Jackson & the Olympians have been chomping at the bit for a second chance at an adaption. On January 25th, series author Rick Riordan released a video announcement that a series was happening. Netflix's Daredevil Cast and Crew Celebrate the Series' Return to Top 10 Status

Spider-Man: No Way Home featured an unexpected cameo from Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock, better known as Daredevil in the Netflix series. Thanks to that appearance, the now-canceled series has been gaining a whole new audience on the streaming platform and managed to break into Nielsen’s Top 10 U.S. streaming chart of original series for the week following the new MCU’s release in cinemas. During the week beginning December 20th, the 39 episodes of the series pulled in 195 million minutes between them, and the new surge in popularity didn’t go unnoticed by those involved in the show.

Cher Performs The Golden Girls Theme Song in Honor of Betty White

Cher is thanking Betty White for being a friend. On Jan. 31, NBC will air the tribute special Celebrating Betty White: America's Golden Girl. Ahead of the premiere, Cher tweeted a clip from the special featuring herself performing the Golden Girls theme song while adding the phrase, "Every Friend is Golden." You can watch the clip below.
