In Prateek Kuhad’s first live performance in Mumbai (and India) post-pandemic, at the massive Jio World Gardens, Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC), thousands of fans across a diverse mix of age groups were seen locked into Prateek’s performance, connecting with his music and enjoying the vibe of the concert in a trance.
The ‘The Way That Lovers Do’ Tour in Mumbai saw a fabulous audience response, with hands swaying in the air as Prateek performed his hot new favourite tracks such as ‘Just A Word’ and ‘Favourite Peeps’ along with his evergreen radio hits including ‘cold/mess’ and ‘Kasoor’.
Youth sensations Munawar Faruqui, and Santanu Hazarika and content creators such as Rhea Gurnani, Aashna Shah, Tarini Shah, Anahita Karanjia, Jigger Thakkar were also spotted at the Prateek Kuhad ‘The Way That Lovers Do’ Tour kick-off in Mumbai today.
The tour follows the release of Kuhad’s latest 11-track studio album ‘The Way That Lovers Do’ which was released in May 2022 via Elektra Records and spoke about human love, friendship, and connectivity.
Best known for his intimate songwriting, earnest lyricism and experimental flare, the 32-year-old global breakout star is touring on home turf after a hiatus of one and a half years. After a wholesome and enthralling show in Mumbai, Prateek is set to perform in Pune today, October 30th at Liberty Square, Phoenix Marketcity, for a completely sold-out show.

Releasing on November 4, 2022, on the platform, the magnum opus is produced by Star Studios & Dharma Productions, and directed and written by Ayan Mukerji.
The film saw special appearances by the biggest names including Shah Rukh Khan, Nagarjuna, and Dimple Kapadia. Expressing gratitude to them, Ayan spoke to ANI and said, “Brahmastra was an ambitious project from the start. And I felt that each of these characters represented something very unique. In a way, they represent little worlds in the larger world of Brahmastra. And that required certain gravitas and weight. Which led us to approach some of the best actors and talent in the country. We were very lucky that everyone accepted and supported this ambition. I am truly grateful to them for all their support. And for saying yes…”
Sharing how the characters are deep-rooted in India’s rich culture and are representative of it, Ayan Mukherji said, “Brahmastra is a grand celebration of our rich and unique Indian culture. Our film is inspired by our history, our vast heritage, and the stories we all have grown up with. It was important to me that Brahmastra ends up being a film every Indian can be proud of.”
Elaborating on how the film marks a new phase of Indian Cinema, he said, “Brahmāstra is the first film of our own original new universe. An entertaining, larger-than-life story based on our rich, grand culture, told with cutting-edge technology. It is a cinematic experience that I am very excited to bring into people’s homes so that families can watch it again or for the first time.”
“I am looking forward to all the reactions that are going to come our way from audiences who are revisiting the film, or are getting introduced to this world for the first time,” he added.

Ahead of the season 3 arrival next year, Cavill took to Instagram on Saturday to inform his fans that he will officially be ‘laying down my medallion and my swords’ and departing the fantasy series, on Netflix. Season 4 will see Liam Hemsworth take on the role of monster-hunter Geralt of Rivia instead.
“My journey as Geralt of Rivia has been filled with both monsters and adventures,” Cavill wrote in his post. “In my stead, the fantastic Mr. Liam Hemsworth will be taking up the mantle of the White Wolf. As with the greatest of literary characters, I pass the torch with reverence for the time spent embodying Geralt and enthusiasm to see Liam’s take on this most fascinating and nuanced of men.”
He continued, “Liam, good sir, this character has such a wonderful depth to him. Enjoy diving in and seeing what you can find.”

Hemsworth took to Instagram and paid tribute to Cavill, “As a Witcher fan, I’m over the moon about the opportunity to play Geralt of Rivia,” he wrote. “Henry Cavill has been an incredible Geralt, and I’m honoured that he’s handing me the reins and allowing me to take up the White Wolf’s blades for the next chapter of his adventure.”
“Henry, I’ve been a fan of yours for years and was inspired by what you brought to this beloved character,” The Hunger Games actor said. “I may have some big boots to fill, but I’m truly excited to be stepping into the Witcher world.”
Henry Cavill’s announcement comes in less than weeks since he made a cameo as Superman in DC’s Black Adam. He then announced that he is putting the cape back on and is ready for the next movie.

Netflix has seemingly greenlit seasons 4 and 5 of the series which will be reportedly shot back-to-back. While it is unclear when the production will begin, the seasons are currently in the writing stage.

Reminiscing the making he shared how ‘Choli Ke Peeche’ was actually picked from popular folk songs from Eastern India, he said, “We had never imagined that the song would receive social and political backlash. 1 crore cassettes were sold just within a week of its release, this led to envy from the industry and the song was labelled to be vulgar and faced criticism. When the movie was released, a leading newspaper mentioned that the song is beautifully depicted and is one of the iconic scenes of Indian cinema. When I myself went to see the audience’s reaction, they were purely awestruck. It was also picked up by many dancing workshops in schools. It became an iconic song for many people, including celebrities. One can realise the efforts went into composing the song and the negativity we dealt with when a section of people reacted to the song, but today the same people are in admiration. That’s the beauty of art we live in. Sometimes you might feel that you have done wrong but with time it turns out to be a classic. I feel blessed that this song has become so iconic that it’s being played globally including the White House in Washington DC wherein Poorna can be seen enjoying it.”
The song originally featured Madhuri Dixit, Neena Gupta and Sanjay Dutt.
