The media frenzy around Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani doesn’t appear to be slowing down any time soon. The private ceremony at Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer where the Bollywood actors got married earlier this month is still being captured in beautiful photographs. To wish her mother Genevieve Jaffrey a happy birthday, Kiara uploaded more never-before-seen pictures from her and Sidharth’s wedding, in addition to photos from their wedding ceremony, mehendi, sangeet, and reception. These are images from the wedding day, the mehendi ceremony, and the Sangeet night. Sharing them on Instagram, Kiara simply wrote, “Mummaaaaaa. Happy Happy Birthday to my loving, caring, praying mother. I am blessed to be your daughter

In the first photo from the wedding, Kiara and her mother, who was wearing a delicate pink lehenga to match her, are shown smiling. The next image is a monochrome version of an earlier image from the same day. In the photograph, Kiara is seen smack in the middle of her mother and her brother Mishaal Advani. She shuts her eyes but smiles broadly as her mother pouts at her.

The third is a photo of the whole family taken at Kiara and Sidharth’s mehendi. The pair can be seen posing with Kiara’s mother, father, and brother. It is visible that Sidharth has his arms around Kiara’s waist. The next image is from the Sangeet night and shows Kiara getting a kiss on the cheek from her mother, who was twinned with her in a golden outfit. Designer Manish Malhotra who designed the family’s ensembles for the wedding celebrations, also wished her mom. He wrote in the comments section, “Happy birthday Janam.”

A welcoming meal was served before the customary Punjabi wedding of the Shershaah couple. It was followed by a fiery Sangeet performance, Haldi, and Mehendi rituals. The couple’s acquaintances from the film industry, including senior actress Juhi Chawla, director Karan Johar, fashion designer Manish Malhotra, actor Shahid Kapoor and his wife Mira Rajput, and actor Manish Malhotra, attended the wedding in addition to the couple’s relatives. In specially crafted Manish Malhotra outfits for all of their main wedding celebrations, including the Sangeet, Mehendi, Haldi, Wedding, and the Grihapravesh celebration held at the groom’s house in Delhi, both Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra looked simply magnificent.

Sidharth Malhotra will be next seen in Yodha, the upcoming war drama which features him in the role of an army officer. The much-awaited project is slated to hit the theatres by the second half of 2023. Kiara Advani, on the other hand, recently wrapped up the shooting of her upcoming love story SatyaPrem Ki Katha, which features her and Kartik Aaryan in the titular roles. Kiara also has RC15 with Ram Charan in pipeline.

Bhumi Pednekar donning a solid-colour green pantsuit designed by Helen Anthony shows us who the real boss is

Pantsuits are one of Bhumi Pednekar’s favourite outfits, and she understands how to look classy in them. She exuded confidence while wearing a Helen Anthony solid-color green pantsuit. Her pantsuit includes a jacket that is calf length, with structured shoulders, a notch lapel, and golden buttons on collar and cuff. The actress chose to wear a green scoop-neck waistcoat alone, without a shirt underneath, to add a touch of variation. The front of the waistcoat also contains golden fasteners. Her outfit included brown heels and green pants. Bhumi Pednekar chose not to wear any jewellery and instead let her clothing speak for itself.

Bhumi had a glam makeup look that comprised nude lips, a lot of mascara, bronzed highlights, and kohl-filled eyes. Her hair was braided in an unkempt manner. She was seen clutching her back in one of the pictures, though. Hilariously taking to the captions, she requested her fans to not comment “peeth mein dard hain kya?”, on her photos.

On the work front, Bhumi Pednekar was recently seen in Shashank Khaitan’s directorial Govinda Naam Mera alongside Vicky Kaushal and Kiara Advani. The film was released on December 12, 2022. It was produced by Karan Johar and premiered on Disney+ Hotstar. Bhumi started her career in 2015 with Dum Laga Ke Haisha opposite Ayushmann Khurrana. She has acted in hit movies such as Badhaai Do, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, Toilet Ek Prem Katha, Bala, among others. She will be seen next in six films this year, including Afwaah, Bheed, Bhakshak, The Lady Killer, Bhakshak, and Meri Patni Ka Remake.

Bollywood actors Sonakshi Sinha, and Vijay Varma, filmmakers Zoya Akhtar, and Reema Kagti and the team of Dahaad reached the red carpet of the Berlin International Film Festival 2023 on Wednesday, February 22. The crime drama competed against seven shows from across the globe and opened to a thunderous response from the attendees who witnessed the global premiere. After Gully Boy in 2019, Dahaad will be Excel Entertainment & Tiger Baby’s second showcase at the Berlinale!

Set in a small, sleepy town in Rajasthan, Dahaad is an 8-part, slow-burn crime drama that follows Sub-inspector Anjali Bhaati and her colleagues at the local Police station. When a series of women are mysteriously found dead in public bathrooms, Sub-Inspector Anjali Bhaati is tasked with the investigation. At first, the deaths appear to be clear-cut suicides but as the cases unravel, Anjali begins to suspect that a serial killer is on the loose. What follows is a riveting game of cat and mouse between a seasoned criminal and an underdog cop as she pieces together evidence before another innocent woman loses her life.

Directed by Reema Kagti and Ruchika Oberoi, and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Zoya Akhtar, Reema Kagti, and Farhan Akhtar, Dahaad is slated to release in 2023.

Ranbir Kapoor reacts to the bad phase of Bollywood at box office: ‘Pathaan ki collection dekhi nahi thi?’

Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor has begun promotions for his upcoming movie Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. The trailer seemed like the actor is back with a lively romantic comedy starring opposite Shraddha Kapoor. With three songs out, the actor is out and about promoting the movie. At an event, a journalist asked Ranbir about the bad phase of Bollywood at the box office.

The video sees a journalist asking Ranbir, “Bollywood ka abhi thoda dicey chal raha hai…(Bollywood is currently in a dicey phase).” Quickly interrupting her, Ranbir replied saying, “Kya baat kar rahi hai? Pathaan ki collection dekhi nahi thi? (What are you saying? Have you not seen the box office collection of Pathaan?)”

The actor further asked, “Pehle, aap kaunsi publication se ho (Which media publication are you from?)” She replied to which the actor said, “BBC News. Abhi toh aapke bhi kuch chal rahe hai na aaj kal…uska kya? Pehle woh jawab do (I think something is going on with your company these days. What about that, you tell me first).” His response to the journalist left everyone in the room in splits. The actor probably hinted at the Income Tax department conducted an investigation in Delhi and Mumbai officers of BBC.

Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor is gearing up for Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar starring alongside Shraddha Kapoor. The film is directed by Luv Ranjan, produced by Luv Films’ Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg, and presented by T- Series’ Gulshan Kumar and Bhushan Kumar. It is all set to have a festive release worldwide in cinemas on Holi, March 8, 2023.

SCOOP: Hera Pheri’s third part, starring Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal, to be called Hera Pheri 4

Bollywood Hungama in June 2022 was the first one to break the news that Hera Pheri 3 is indeed in the offing. Firoz Nadiadwala in an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama confirmed that the same star cast as in the first two parts – Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal – will be featured in the third part. As expected, the news went viral. Yesterday, Hera Pheri 3 was once again in the news after it was reported that it went on floors. A few hours later, news came in that Farhad Samji is the director of the much-awaited film.

Bollywood Hungama has now stumbled upon another interesting piece of information. A source told Bollywood Hungama, “Although it’s Hera Pheri’s third part, it won’t be called Hera Pheri 3. Instead, the makers have decided to name the film Hera Pheri 4. The makers feel it justifies the story and viewers will understand the reason behind it once they see the film.”

The source also shared, “Hera Pheri 4 hasn’t gone on the floors yet. Yesterday, Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal shot for a promo, announcing that the third part of the blockbuster comedy franchise is officially on and that it’s going on floors soon. The filming will begin later on, in a month or two.”

Last year, a controversy erupted after it came to light that Kartik Aaryan has been signed for the film and that Akshay Kumar has moved out. Akshay, in an event, revealed that since he was not happy with the script, he decided to not do the film. It led to a lot of brouhaha as Akshay Kumar’s character Raju is a favourite of the fans. Hence, many people felt that without him, Hera Pheri’s next part won’t make for an exciting watch. After this episode, however, the differences between producer Firoz Nadiadwala and Akshay Kumar got resolved and Akshay Kumar was back in the Hera Pheri franchise.

Hera Pheri (2000), which was directed by Priyadarshan, was a story of a poor landlord and his two tenants, and how they become rich after they receive a wrong number. The sequel, Phir Hera Pheri (2006), directed by Neeraj Vora, took the story forward and how the trio went from riches to rags in their quest for greed and wealth. Hera Pheri 4 is expected to take the story forward after the events of the second part.

“It took me four years to bring Kai Po Che to the audience. As a director, this was a challenging & fulfilling project. Today Raj & Amit are one of the top actors & as a director I feel proud to have worked with them,” said the 51-year-old filmmaker. 

Meanwhile, Amrita Puri also briefly spoke about the project during an interaction with Bollywood Hungama. Puri stated that she is proud to be a part of a film that is iconic, still talked about and loved. For the unversed, Amrita played the role of Rajkummar’s love interest. 

Kai Po Che premiered at the Berlin Film Festival. The story was ahead of its time & not many would tell stories adapted from books. The film also bagged multiple awards & received immense appreciation from the audience. Even today, this film & the story resonates with viewers.  

Speaking of his upcoming projects, Abhishek Kapoor will be launching two new talents, Ajay Devgn’s nephew Aaman Devgan & Rasha Thadani in the upcoming action adventure. The director is busy scouting the perfect location to kick-start the shooting schedule.

Pakistani actress Ayesha Omar reacts to reports that her alleged affair with cricketer Shoaib Malik amid divorce rumours with Sania Mirza

Pakistani actress Ayesha Omar has broken her silence over the reports claiming her alleged affair with former Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik, who is married to Indian tennis player Sania Mirza. Ayesha, a model-actress, has been mired in controversy as it is alleged that her closeness with Malik has reportedly led to a rift between Mirza and Malik.

Recently, on the chat show hosted by former cricketer Shoaib Akhtar, Ayesha said, “I will never be attracted to a married or committed man ever. Everyone knows me and that goes without saying.” The actress also claimed that after the steamy photoshoot of Malik and Omar went viral, the rumours were spread by Indian media which was later picked up by Pakistani media.

Previously, the actress had addressed the alleged affair. Responding to a comment on her Instagram when someone asked she was planning to get married to Shoaib Malika, she said, “Jee nahin. Bilkul nahin. Un kee shaadi hoe we hai aur who apni biwi ke sath bohot khush hai. Mein dono @realshoaibmalik aur @mirzasania kee bohot respect karti hoon. Shoaib aur mai achae dost aur ek doosrey ke kherkhwa hain. Bohot respect kartay hain. Aisey rishtey bhee hotay hain duniya mein logon kay. (Not at all, he’s happily married. I respect both of them a lot. Shoaib and I are friends and care for each other. Relationships like this also exist in the world.)”

Amid the alleged divorce rumours, Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik have been hosting a talk show called The Mirza Malik Show wherein popular Pakistani celebrities appear as guests.
