“It is a pleasure to have theatrical release again with F3” – Venkatesh on COVID-19 and F3 being his first release post pandemic

It is a renowned fact that Covid-19 has had a massive impact on films and the film industry as a whole. Regardless of superstars and actors, most of them were forced to switch to OTT to release their films. South superstar Venkatesh was no exception. The actor released his last two films Narappa and Drushyam 2 on OTT due to the theatre shutdown. But he is now super excited to release his next, F3, that also stars Tamannaah Bhatia and Varun Tej, in theatres.

Speaking about releasing films on OTT and now with F3 getting a theatrical release, Venkatesh said, “Narappa and Drushyam are both serious films released on OTT due to corona lockdown. It is a pleasure to have theatrical release again with F3.. After a gap of two years, it is a pleasure to come up with a Big Entertainer like F3.”

On the other hand, Venkatesh also spoke about shooting for this film during the pandemic. It was definitely not a cakewalk. The Telugu superstar said, “It seemed very difficult. We had tough time shoot, during the covid.” He went on to reveal that he was fortunate enough to never get covid. He added laughing, “By the grace of God, I am Covirgin. The corona has not infected me yet.”

Furthermore, the actor went on to add that considering this is his first release post the opening of theatres, he wants to give fans a special treat. He said, “It will give additional kick while watching such entertainers with family and friends. F2 was a big hit. The audience loved the movie and the characters. They definitely want more entertainment this time from F3. The film F3 has a triple dose of entertainment and does not fall short of the audience’s expectations.”

Also starring Mehreen Pirzada, F3 is slated to release on May 27, 2022.

Kamal Haasan on his 40-year friendship with Rajinikanth despite politics – “He and I are competitors and friends at the same time”

Tamil superstar Kamal Haasan is gearing up for the release of Vikram starring Fahadh Faasil and Vijay Sethupathi. For the same, the actor attended the audio and trailer launch where he touched upon various topics. At the event, he spoke about his 40-year long friendship with Rajinikanth despite having different political inclination.

According to Indian Express, Kamal Haasan said, “Red Giant is associated with this film. People wondered, ‘What is this sir?’ Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin is my friend beyond politics. How’s that possible? I ask, ‘Why not?’ Rajini and I are competitors and friends at the same time. You keep switching sides and shouting at each other. Not us. We know. When we both were 25, we predicted how this journey of ours should end. And we are living accordingly with the respect that it deserves. There is still no change to it. Even today, as he was not able to make it to the event, he felt the urgency to talk to me (about it). That’s the kind of friendship between us.”

Vikram is written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil and Suriya. It is set to release in theatres on June 3.

Aamir Khan makes rare appearance with ex-wife Kiran Rao at Karan Johar’s 50th birthday bash

Filmmaker Karan Johar turned a year older on May 25 and hosted a grand bash celebrating his 50th birthday. The who’s who of Bollywood, Telugu industry and even designer Prabal Gurung were in attendance for this party at Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai. Aamir Khan, who is gearing up for Laal Singh Chaddha trailer launch, made a rare appearance at the party along with ex-wife Kiran Rao.

The theme of the party was black, white and bling. Aamir Khan wore a blue t-shirt, with a black jacket and denims whereas Kiran Rao opted for a silver blingy mini dress paired with boots. The duo, who share a son together, posed for the photos on Wednesday night.

Back in July 2021, Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao announced their separation but also mentioned they will continue to co-parent their son Azad. A joint statement by Aamir and Kiran read, “In these 15 beautiful years together we have shared a lifetime of experiences, joy and laughter, and our relationship has only grown in trust, respect and love. Now we would like to begin a new chapter in our lives – no longer as husband and wife, but as co-parents and family for each other. We began a planned separation some time ago, and now feel comfortable to formalise this arrangement, of living separately yet sharing our lives the way an extended family does. We remain devoted parents to our son Azad, who we will nurture and raise together. We will also continue to work as collaborators on films, Paani Foundation, and other projects that we feel passionate about. A big thank you to our families and friends for their constant support and understanding about this evolution in our relationship, and without whom we would not have been so secure in taking this leap. We request our well wishers for good wishes and blessings, and hope that – like us – you will see this divorce not as an end, but as the start of a new journey. Thanks and love.”

 Laal Singh Chaddha trailer arrives on May 29. The film stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Naga Chaitanya and Mona Singh. It is Indian adaptation of Forrest Gump releasing in August 2022.

Filmmaker Karan Johar turned a year older on May 25 and hosted a grand bash celebrating his 50th birthday. The who’s who of Bollywood, Telugu industry and even designer Prabal Gurung were in attendance for this party at Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai. Hrithik Roshan made his red carpet debut with girlfriend Saba Azad.

Both the party, Hrithik Roshan donned an all black suit with his long hair tied and sporting his Vikram Vedha beard. Saba was seen in cut-out black dress with noodle straps as she and him posed for the photogs. They were all smiles and looked at each-other lovingly.

A while back, Bollywood actors Hrithik Roshan and Saba Azad confirmed their relationship after walking hand-in-hand at the airpot. Before, that they were constantly in headlines post their dinner dates and vacations.

The Dhoom actor sparked dating rumours with Saba earlier this year after they were spotted making their way out of a date night. As per reports, Hrithik had been keeping his relationship with Saba under wraps for months. In fact, those who knew about their romance were said to be surprised by his decision to be clicked with her in public. Earlier this week, reports claimed that Hrithik and Saba are planning to tie the knot soon.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Hrithik Roshan is all set to play Vedha whereas Vikram is to be played by Saif Ali Khan in Vikram Vedha remake. Apart from this, Hrithik has a very interesting lineup of films, which includes Fighter with Deepika Padukone and Krrish 4 in the pipeline.
