Kriti Sanon travels in economy class; leaves passengers in awe with her humility

Kriti Sanon recently won hearts when she showcased her humility. The actress, who is gearing up for a film with Shahid Kapoor, took off to Indore to fulfil her work commitments. But unlike the way stars generally travel by business class and private jets, this time around Kriti decided to travel in a rather simple way left onlookers surprised by it. Kriti opted to travel by economy class this time and passengers were left surprised, and we hear, some of them weren’t even aware of the actress being in the flight.

A paparazzo account recently uploaded videos of Kriti Sanon travelling in an economy class and she was also seen interacting with people around her. Another video featured the actress playing with a child on board as she was seen teaching to give a flying kiss. The video received a lot of love from Sanon fans who couldn’t stop gushing about the actress’ humility. “She’s the sweetest person ever,” commented one of her fans. Another one called her ‘the purest soul’. One of the users dropped a comment saying, “She loves her fans and is so sweet @kritisanon”.

Among the many users, there were also a few who opened about personally meeting the star and appreciated her humble and sweet nature. “She is very sweet…played with my daughter in whole flight,” said one of them. Going by the comment, it seems that the user was one of the passengers from the flight and travelled with the actress. Yet another user opened up about meeting Sanon in Paris and added, “@kritisanon is such a down to earth person I asked her for a selfie in paris and she left her parents behind and took a pic with me”.

On the work front, Kriti Sanon is expected to feature alongside Shahid Kapoor in a Dinesh Vijan production. It is being said that the film is expected to feature the actress in the role of a robot. On the other hand, the actress is gearing up for the release of Adipurush, co-starring Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan this year. She also has the Rhea Kapoor production with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Tabu, titled The Crew in the pipeline.

Shah Rukh Khan to shoot Rajkumar Hirani directorial Dunki in Kashmir; likely to film a song with Ganesh Acharya

With two more releases this year, Shah Rukh Khan is leaving no stone unturned in making sure that the films stick to the timeline. The actor will reportedly reach Kashmir to shoot for Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki. The shoot will commence today, April 24.

As per a report in News18, Kashmir has been trying to revive the movie shoot culture. Satyaprem Ki Katha and Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani were the recent movies that were shot in Kashmir. It is being reported Rajkumar Hirani and his team visited the Sonamarg last week as they are likely to shoot a song with choreographer Ganesh Acharya.

The film will be backed by Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment. It will release on the big screen on December 22, 2023. The film stars Taapsee Pannu in the lead role. Even Satish Shah has joined the cast along with Boman Irani. It is a story about immigration. Dunki has already been shot in Mumbai, Budapest and London.

With Dunki, Shah Rukh Khan will have three releases in 2023. With Pathaan, the collections crossed Rs. 1000 crore at the worldwide box office. It released in theatres on January 25, 2023. The film stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. It is directed by Siddharth Anand. Apart from that, he will be seen in Atlee’s Jawan in June 2023. The film stars Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara. Deepika is making a cameo.

Netflix to convert Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s limited series Heeramandi into seasonal show?

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s eagerly-awaited OTT opus Heeramandi is gradually shaping into one of the finest digital experiences originating from Asia. A source close to Netflix describes it as the digital equivalent of K Asif’s Mughal-e-Azam. “Every frame is a work of art. You can’t take your off the screen for even a second. Binge-watching would be a crime. Taking in all that beauty at one go would be humanly impossible.”

It is likely that the episodes won’t be released at one go. “Every episode will be like an individual film. To be devoured in leisure,” says one of Bhansali’s Heeramandi actors , all of whom are under contract to not speak about the series until told to.

Netflix has decided to convert Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s proposed series Heeramandi into a seasonal affair. The first season of eight episodes will air in the second-half of 2023(month and date not yet decided).

Revealing details on scheduling plans a source close to the project informs, “The initial plan was to do a limited series. But everyone felt the series had the potential to be converted into a seasonal event.”

Dream Girl 2: Ayushmann Khurrana announces new release date; film to hit the big screen on August 25, 2023

Fans of the highly anticipated movie Dream Girl 2 will have to wait a bit longer to catch the film in theatres, as the film gets a fresh release date which is August 25, 2023. The reason for the delay is reportedly due to the extensive VFX work required for the film. The VFX work is crucial for Dream Girl 2, as the film features Ayushmann Khurrana playing the role of Pooja and Karam. The team doesn’t wanna leave any stone unturned to ensure that he is looking seamless and convincing as Pooja.

Speaking about the decision, Ektaa R Kapoor, Joint Managing Director – Balaji Telefilms Limited, said, “We want Ayushmann Khurrana’s character to look perfect as Pooja in Dream Girl 2, and that’s why we are taking extra time to perfect the VFX work for the face. We want to ensure that our viewers get the best possible experience when they watch the movie. The VFX work for Dream Girl 2 is an integral part of the movie, and we want to ensure that we deliver a high-quality product to our audiences.”

Salman Khan thanks fans for showing love and support to Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, shares photo

After four years, Salman Khan returned to the big screen on Eid with the ensemble movie, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. While the film received mixed reviews from both netizens and critics alike, the actor’s fans are enjoying the movie. For the same, Salman took to social media to thank them.

Sharing a photo on Twitter on Sunday, Salman Khan wrote, “Thank u for all your love n support. Thank u, really appreciate it.” He wore a black shirt in the photo with a soft smile.

Meanwhile, Salman Khan had his Eid 2023 release Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan on Friday, April 21. The film has collected Rs. 41.56 crore in first two days. The Sunday collections are yet to be out.

A Salman Khan Film production, the film is directed by Farhad Samji. It stars Salman Khan, Venkatesh Daggubati, Pooja Hegde, Jagapathi Babu, Bhumika Chawla, Vijender Singh, Abhimanyu Singh, Raghav Juyal, Siddharth Nigam, Jassie Gill, Shehnaaz Gill, Palak Tiwari and Vinali Bhatnagar.

Apart from this, Salman has Tiger 3 releasing during Diwali 2023. Helmed by Maneesh Sharma, it also stars Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi. He next returns to YRF with Pathaan Vs Tiger with Shah Rukh Khan.

Zeenat Aman recalls how police had to intervene when thousands of fans surrounded her when she went shopping: “Back then, artists were not seen”

Zeenat Aman, a veteran actress in the Hindi film industry, enjoyed superstardom back in the day. She was part of several hit movies including Hare Rama Hare Krishna, Yaadon Ki Baraat, Satyam Shivam Sundaram, and Don, among many others. She remains one of the most sought-after actors of yesteryear. Having said that, ever since she made her debut on Instagram, fans have been enjoying her posts and all the anecdotes she shares on the platform. In an interview recently, she recalled how actors weren’t readily available back in the day and there was one incident when a huge crowd had gathered due to which police had to be called.

Recalling one such incident, Zeenat Aman revealed that there was an incident once due to which the police had to intervene. While talking to the comedian Zakir Khan in the latest episode of his show Kyun Ki Kyon Nahi, Zeenat said, “Woh ek zamana tha jahan yeh digital media tha hi nahi. Ek waqt main shopping karne gayi thi, khabar mil gayi logon ko. (That wasn’t the era of digital media. Once I went for shopping and people got a whiff about it) Thousands and thousands of people gathered outside the store. At the end, the store owner had to call the police, so that I could get into the van and leave the store.”

She added, “Back then, artists dikhte nahin the. (Back then, artists were not seen) Aaj kal aap har jagah dekho, TV pe hai, kuchh promote kar rahe hai, Instagram pe kahani dikha rahen hai. (These days wherever you see actors are promoting something on TV or showing stories on Instagram). Stars are much more readily available nowadays. Back then they were real stars.”

Zeenat Aman’s contributions to Indian cinema have been recognized with several awards and accolades. She has also been a recipient of Padma Shri, one of the highest civilian awards in India, for her outstanding contribution to the arts.
