Kajol pens birthday message for “darling” daughter Nysa on her 21st: “Know that you are loved always and forever”

Bollywood actress Kajol took to social media on Saturday, April 20, to celebrate the 21st birthday of her daughter, Nysa Devgan. Nysa is the daughter of Kajol and her husband and actor Ajay Devgn.

Sharing a collection of heartwarming photos featuring Nysa, Kajol expressed her love and well wishes in a heartfelt caption. “Happy 21st my darling.. may u always smile and laugh with this same joie de vivre through life.. know that you are loved always and forever. To the moon and back baby! Btw that last pic is how I look at you most days,” wrote Kajol.

Readers may recall that a day before Nysa’s birthday, Kajol had penned a note for her daughter. It read, “Tomorrow is Nysas 21st birthday but today is about me and how I became a mom. How she made my greatest wish come true and how she makes me happy every single day since then just by being herself.”

Another excerpt of her post read, “How I felt for the first time and every time since when she calls me ” mama “. Its like a call to arms for a very loved cause. How I wish sometimes I could wrap her up and store her back in my stomach for a day just to feel my heart back in the body it started out from. Sonali Bendre recalls becoming a “caricature” in Duplicate: “Sometimes you do things for that paycheck”

Actress Sonali Bendre is gearing up for the second season of her Zee5 series The Broken News. In a recent interview with IndiaToday.in, Bendre looked back on her filmography, discussing a project that left a significant mark on her career – the 1998 film Duplicate.

Duplicate, co-starring Shah Rukh Khan in a double role alongside Juhi Chawla, presented Sonali with an opportunity to portray a complex character. “I was approached to play a grey character,” she said, expressing her initial excitement about the challenge. “We started preparing for the role and shooting accordingly, but as things progressed, I felt I became a caricature rather than the nuanced character I envisioned.”

Sonali’s experience on Duplicate offered valuable lessons. “Every time a Duplicate song is played and people mention the film, the thing that I remember the most is the fact that how much a story can get de-railed and how much you can start with something and where it goes,” she explained. “For me, that was a huge learning experience. As time goes by, you start thinking whether I misinterpreted something or it was the other way around,” she added further.

Concluding her point, Sonali asserted, “But then, as you go forward, sometimes you do things for that paycheck, but other than that, in my second innings, I don’t want to be slotted and boxed, and I want to do characters that break this stereotype.”

Speaking of The Broken News, it also stars Jaideep Ahlawat, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Jay Upadhyay, Indraneil Sengupta, Taaruk Raina, Aakash Khurana and Kiran Kumar. The second season of the show will start streaming on the OTT platform from May 3 onwards.

Directed by Ayan Mukerji, War 2 is expected to hit theaters on India’s Independence Day in 2025. The film is a sequel to the 2019 action thriller War, which starred Hrithik Roshan, Tiger Shroff, and Vani Kapoor. Discussing the highly-anticipated sequel, actor Ashutosh Rana, who appeared in both War and Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan as Colonel Luthra, spoke to ANI, saying: “We are going to start soon, I hope the way everyone loved War and Pathaan they will also like War 2. This is a spy universe and in it the missions themselves are thrilling, so the audience will enjoy it.”

Salman Khan to kick of AR Murugadoss’ Sikandar in May 2024: Report

Salman Khan fans, rejoice! Though the superstar didn’t have a release for Eid this year, he announced his next big project, titled Sikandar, to make up for it. This action entertainer marks Khan’s first collaboration with director AR Murugadoss, and filming is set to begin in May. Murugadoss is currently directing an action film, tentatively called SK23, starring Tamil star Sivakarthikeyan. This project is scheduled to continue until June. To ensure a smooth shooting schedule for Sikandar, Murugadoss will be juggling both films for the next two months.

“Before Sikandar goes on floors, Murugadoss wants to wrap up as much of SK23 as possible,” an insider revealed, as per a report in Mid-day. “He will shoot the first schedule of Sikandar in May and then return to finish Sivakarthikeyan’s movie in June. From July onwards, he will be completely dedicated to the Salman Khan starrer.”

With an Eid 2025 release target, the team is working diligently to meet the deadline despite the director’s busy schedule. “To avoid any delays, Murugadoss has assembled a dedicated team to help him finish SK23 quickly,” the source added.

Sikandar marks Murugadoss’s return to Hindi cinema after an eight-year hiatus following Akira (2016). This project reunites Khan with producer Sajid Nadiadwala, the duo behind blockbuster hits like Kick, Judwaa, and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi.

The title Sikandar itself has sparked a wave of excitement and curiosity among audiences. Fans are eager to witness the magic that unfolds on screen with this dream team collaboration. Eid 2025 is about to get a whole lot more thrilling!

Indian 2: First look of Siddharth as a cop from Kamal Haasan starrer unveiled on his 45th birthday, see poster

Anticipation for the highly awaited sequel, Indian 2, has just been revved up a notch. On his 45th birthday, actor Siddharth unveiled his first look poster from the movie, sending the internet into a frenzy. Directed by the illustrious S. Shankar, Indian 2 is the follow-up to the 1996 Tamil blockbuster Indian. The original film starred Kamal Haasan in the unforgettable role of Senapathy, a vigilante freedom fighter who combats corruption. Haasan reprises his iconic role in the sequel, much to the delight of his fans.

Siddharth’s poster reveal offers a glimpse into his character, reportedly a significant cop role. This marks Siddharth’s second collaboration with director Shankar, following their previous project, Boys. The official page of Lyca Productions shared the poster on X, formerly Twitter, and wrote, “Team INDIAN-2 wishes the multifaceted SIDDHARTH a Happy Birthday! The excitement surrounding Indian 2 doesn’t stop there. The film boasts a stellar ensemble cast alongside Kamal Haasan and Siddharth. Actresses Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, and Priya Bhavani Shankar add talent to the mix. SJ Suryah, along with veteran actors Nedumudi Venu and Kalidas Jayaram, have pivotal roles.

While plot details remain under wraps, reports suggest that Indian 2 will see Senapathy returning to fight against corruption, this time potentially aided by a new generation, possibly including the characters portrayed by Siddharth and the other young actors. While details are under wraps, reports indicate that Manisha Koirala will make a special appearance in the sequel.

With Shankar at the helm, the film is expected to be a visual spectacle. Music director Anirudh Ravichander is on board to compose the soundtrack. Cinematography is being handled by Ravi Varman and R. Rathnavelu.

Indian 2 is set for June 2024 release.
