PlayStation 5 games may finally go beyond the $60 price tag people have become used to over the last decade or so as development costs for games are expected to increase with the coming of the next-generation console. Video games have been at the $60 price point for quite some time now (since as far back as the PS3 and Xbox 360 era), but development costs have only risen further since then.
As the price for new video games has stayed at $60, developers and publishers have tried to find other ways to generate revenue, such as microtransactions or loot boxes. Some games also feature either a battle pass or season pass, which bundles DLC content into a single, time-delayed package. Publishers and developers have also tried to get more people to buy their games way beyond their original release dates through occasional sales through digital storefrontssuch as the PlayStation Store, Steam, or the Epic Games Store.

PlayStation CEO Jim Ryan recently spoke to GamesIndustry.biz about how the current pandemic has affected their plans for the PS5, including its expected release this holiday. During the interview, Ryan talked about the cost of creating games for the PS5, he stated:
“I think, to the extent that the technology enables the graphics side of it to become more interesting and life-like, [the games] will become slightly more human intensive and capital intensive to produce. So yes, we think there probably will be an increase in development budgets. We don't see it as being a massive increase, and that's why we want to do more faster than we have ever done before, to provide a fertile install base for people who make games to be able to monetise against. If we can keep pace with a likely increase in development costs, then the industry can continue to prosper.â€
The PS5 is expected to be a significant advancement in console gaming technology that could possibly change the way games are made. The next-generation console’s features include a custom CPU and GPU as well as a rather unique storage setup that utilizes an SSD with a custom interface that makes it both faster and more efficient. The recent Unreal 5 demo was supposedly run on a PS5 and showed off the graphical capabilities of both the engine and the console. Sony has even gone on to say that the PS5 is 100 times faster than the PS4.
Raising the price of video games from the current standard price isn’t exactly new, as video games were notably cheaper during much older console generations. So it wouldn’t be all that surprising if next-generation games start being priced at around $70 for their respective standard editions. But with the proliferation of digital distribution and platforms such as the PS Store, Steam, and the Epic Games Store, games are now able to come out at different price points other than the supposed standard so we may still see games at the current $60 price point or even cheaper in spite being released for the PlayStation 5.

On the May 31 episode of90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days,Lisa Hamme and Usman Umar officially tied the knot. Although a celebration of their marriage took place onscreen, Baby Girl Lisa recently revealed in an Instagram Live that she and her husband were no longer together. While she may be grieving their relationship, it was obvious from the start that this couple was never going to last long term.
Lisa traveled to Nigeria to meet Usman on Before the 90 Days season four, but their relationship was anything but a fairytale. Instead, Lisa started multiple arguments with her Nigerian love over the course of her trip, demanding that he cater to her needs and ignore the opinions of his friends and family. Despite their constant bickering, Usman followed through with their marriage on the May 31 episode of 90 Day Fiancé. Although they had a tumultuous relationship after the show, it seemed that the couple was trying to make things work. Unfortunately, Lisa recently appeared on an Instagram Live and revealed that she and Usman are no longer together. In fact, Lisa claimed that Usman only married her to advance his rap career. She accused him of posing a romance scam and painted herself as a victim in his quest for fame.

While there may be some truth to Lisa's newest claims, her relationship was Usman was doomed from the start. Beyond their massive age difference of 20 years, the couple was unable to communicate effectively. Lisa was jealous of the other women in Usman's life and demanded that he ignore his fans and give all his attention to her. She argued with Usman constantly and refused to hear his point of view. Instead, if Usman said something she didn't like, Lisa would storm away and accuse him of being disrespectful. With the exception of Usman's mother, who was also the deciding factor in whether the couple could get married or not, Lisa also showed zero respect for the other people in Usman's life. She yelled at his brothers, his friends, his music manager, and anyone else that she felt threatened their relationship. She refused to keep things to herself and instead started drama that put Usman in uncomfortable situations.
While Lisa is clearly the bigger problem in this relationship, Usman isn't entirely blameless. Although he never said he was marrying Lisa only for a US visa, he implied that his rap career was his first priority on more than one occasion. In addition, he was caught communicating with a fan in a way that was quite inappropriate while in a relationship, saying things like "I love you" and sending heart messages. Usman also expected to be the head of the house, while Lisa believed that she should be in charge. Their idea of gender roles in a relationship didn't match up, and neither had any interest in changing their position.
To put it simply, Usman and Baby Girl Lisa were entirely incompatible. They had no ability to talk through their issues and couldn't find a way to come to a mutual agreement. Lisa was controlling, jealous, and obviously insecure, which impacted her ability to trust Usman. At the same time, Usman's true feelings towards Lisa were unclear, so he wasn't exactly deserving of her trust. While the breakup is clearly hard for Baby Girl Lisa, part of her should have known that the relationship was never going to work.
