Tony Dalton is stepping into the Marvel Cinematic Universe this month with the release of Hawkeye on Disney+. In the new series, which stars Jeremy Renner and Hailee Steinfeld, Dalton plays Jack Duquesne, an early mentor of Cliff Barton. The character is also known as the Swordsman in Marvel Comics, a moniker Dalton's Duquesne carries in the new show.
The final seasons of The Office are not without their criticisms, but one scene in particular may have been the most controversial moment of all if it had ever made it to air. One of the most popular sitcoms in television history, The Office debuted in 2005, following the British series of the same name from which it was inspired. It aired for nine seasons with more than 200 total episodes and remains very popular due to fans still streaming episodes on Peacock.
The Ice Age franchise is making its debut under the Disney banner in January 2022 with The Ice Age: Adventures of Buck Wild coming to Disney+ at the turn of the year. The Ice Age movies have previously been produced by Blue Sky Animation and was seen as their main IP, having generated over $6 billion across five movies, numerous shorts and merchandising, but with the studio folding after Disney's takeover of 20th Century Fox, it looks like Disney still believe there is life in the prehistoric series yet and have wasted no time in putting together their first offering, which sees the return of Simon Pegg as one-eyed weasel Buck Wild.
We have seen plenty of teasing stills and behind the scenes images of the upcoming Hulu series Pam & Tommy, with stars Lily James and Sebastian Stan posting frequent shots on their social media accounts of themselves in character, and now we have an official trailer for the show that will debut in February 2022. The footage give a first look at the pair in action as they bring the story of the couple to screens in the mini-series that will air its first three episodes together before releasing subsequent episodes on a weekly basis.
In a bit of news that just might get that "I Love You" song stuck in your head, Barney the Dinosaur will be explored in an upcoming documentary series about the iconic children's character. Set for a premiere on Peacock in 2022, the docuseries will consist of three parts and has already begun production. It's said to examine the "rock star-like trajectory of Barney the Dinosaur, the beloved character who captured the hearts of millions of children and then became the target of hate and rage across pop culture, the early internet and playgrounds around the world."
Randall Park gained a new legion of fans on the back of his WandaVison appearance as Jimmy Woo, with many even calling for him to get his own spinoff series. Now it looks like he will be, just not in any Marvel related way but starring in Blockbuster, a comedy series that sees him playing an employee in the last Blockbuster Video store in the U.S. While the series was passed up by NBC, the Universal Television produced show will be the second one dismissed by the network that is being picked up by Netflix, after the streamer gave the kiss of life to sci-fi mystery series Manifest.
