Batwoman Reveals First Look at Nicole Kang as Poison Ivy in Midseason Finale

Poison Ivy is officially a part of the Arrowverse. On The CW’s Batwoman, Nicole Kang’s Dr. Mary Hamilton started the transformation into Gotham City’s most plant-friendly supervillain in the latest episode. A new sneak peek photo of the Batwoman midseason finale reveals a full look at Mary after her full transformation into Poison Ivy, complete with the plants she uses as weapons against her foes.



Peter Dinklage to Be Honored at Gotham Awards Ceremony

This month, the Gotham Film & Media Institute will honor Game of Thrones favorite Peter Dinklage with a Performer Tribute. The honor will be given to Dinklage at the 2021 Gotham Awards Ceremony, taking place live and in person on Monday, Nov. 29 at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City. As the first major awards ceremony of the fall season, the Gotham Awards provide critical early recognition and media attention to worthy independent films and series and their writers, directors, producers, and actors with twelve competitive awards categories.



The Simpsons Movie 2 Talks Are Still Happening

The Simpsons have come a long way since first appearing as a rough cartoon segment of The Tracey Ullman Show, and some would say have perhaps overstayed their welcome, but there are plenty of fans of the series still out there and for that reason, as well as continued season renewals there is frequently talk about when we will see Springfield's first family back on the big screen. Their first outing in cinemas did what it needed to, but fell a long way short of pleasing many long term fans, so would it perhaps be better left alone considering it has been 14 years since The Simpsons Movie arrived in theaters? Well, according to long-term showrunner Al Jean talks are definitely still ongoing to bring the family back for a feature length sequel.



Vincent D'Onofrio Hypes Hawkeye Series: 'This Is Going to Be Fun'

Ahead of the premiere of Hawkeye on Disney+ this month, Kingpin actor Vincent D'Onofrio is seemingly having some fun with the rumors that he'll appear on the show. It's previously been reported that D'Onofrio might show up on Hawkeye to reprise his role as Wilson Fisk, aka the supervillain Kingpin. The actor has since denied his involvement, but as is the case with Andrew Garfield insisting he's not in Spider-Man: No Way Home, people are still convinced otherwise.



Manifest Begins Production on Final Season At Netflix

Manifest creator Jeff Rake has celebrated the show kicking off production on the fourth and final season of the sci-fi mystery drama, which this time only a few months ago seemed unlikely to ever make it to screens. Previously canceled by NBC, the series is about a set of passengers whose plane goes missing for five years, only to land after half a decade with all of the passengers not having aged and seemingly with new supernatural abilities.

In the 1990s, videogame characters were big business thanks to the launch of consoles such as the PlayStation that took games to a whole new level from the likes of the Sega Mega Drive and Super NES, and among the many colorful characters to come from the era one that still stands tall is Earthworm Jim. Jim was, as described, an earthworm but he had the added bonus of wearing a robotic spacesuit that allowed him to battle the forces of evil, and not it looks like he is coming to the small screen in a brand new TV series from Interplay Entertainment.



Point Break Sequel Series Will Center on Johnny Utah's Daughter

Point Break remains one of the best action movies of the 90s, and now, writer W. Peter Iliff has teased a return to the surf, revealing his proposed plans for a sequel series which would reveal what happened to Keanu Reeves' FBI Agent Johnny Utah. Iliff has offered a few details regarding the Point Break 2 show, including that it would be led by Utah's daughter, and that since the events of the first movie, Johnny has been mysteriously missing...
