Lou Cutell Dies, Pee-wee's Big Adventure Star Was 91

Another sad report that a much loved actor has passed away came to us today with the news that Lou Cutell, who appeared as Amazing Larry in Pee-wee’s Big Adventure, has died at the age of 91. The actor had a fifty year career in film, television and theater with over 100 credits to his name. The news of his passing was shared on Facebook by friend Mark Furman who wrote, “After 91 years, and a great life, my friend Lou Cutell went home. A film, theater and character actor. Big Larry in Pee Wee's Big Adventure, Ass Man in Seinfeld, Abe in Grey's Anatomy S12,E4. He took me to Lucille Ball's house in 1986. Rest in peace Lou."

Things are familiar but different in the new teaser trailer for Bel-Air. Based on a YouTube parody video spoofing The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, the new series is a reimagining of the classic sitcom but with more of a dark, dramatic edge. The new teaser takes the lyrics of the original show’s iconic theme song and sets them against dramatic music with the new Will, played by Jabari Banks, taking his throne as the Prince of Bel-Air.



Mass Effect TV Show Is Close to Happening at Amazon

Amazon Prime Video are very quickly gaining a name as the go-to streamer for big fantasy and sci-fi TV shows, having already debuted their The Wheel of Time series and with Lord of The Rings waiting in the wings, but it looks like they are continuing to expand their arsenal with a TV series based on the sci-fi video game franchise Mass Effect. According to a report by Deadline, the streaming giant are hoping to snap up the rights to the franchise and are “near to a deal” with game publisher Electronic Arts, and with Amazon’s track record so far, it would be foolish to think they will not be completing the purchase soon.
