Dungeons & Dragons TV Shows Are a Top Priority For Hasbro's eOne

While the new Dungeons & Dragons movie wrapped filming in August this year and was expected to be a standalone reboot of the franchise, it has become apparent through recent interviews that the film will connect to a much grander plan for the popular gaming property as a host of TV shows are heading to the small screen from eOne. President of Global Television for Hasbro’s entertainment division, Michael Lombardo, recently revealed in an interview that among the many Hasbro-based projects coming in the not-so-distant future.



Marvel’s Werewolf by Night Starts Filming in Early 2022, Synopsis Revealed

It looks like the MCU’s first werewolf is almost ready to make his production debut with news that the Disney+ Halloween special Werewolf by Night is ready to kick off filming in February 2022 in Atlanta, Georgia. Currently, there is very little known about what the special will look like, but Gael Garcia Bernal was cast in the title role earlier this month and will be bringing a whole new world to the Marvel Cinematic Universe which it arrives on Disney+ expectedly in October 2022.

Taking over the role of Skeletor in the Masters of the Universe reboot from original voice actor Alan Oppenheimer, who brought the original Skeletor to life in the 1983 animated show, a new behind the scenes video released by Netflix has shown Hamill in his element in the recording sessions for the show.



The Mandalorian's Cara Dune Spinoff Was Scrapped Before a Single Script Was Written

Along with The Book of Boba Fett and Ahsoka, a third spinoff announced for The Mandalorian was Star Wars: Rangers of the New Republic, a series expected to follow the character of Cara Dune, played in The Mandalorian by Gina Carano before she was fired for a series of controversial tweets. With the ending of her contract also being confirmed to prevent her from appearing in any other Disney projects in the future, it was announced subsequently that the character would not be recast. While there has been no mention given to the proposed spinoff since May this year, Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy has finally spoken about it and revealed that there were never even any scripts written for the series.
