Big Walking Dead News is Coming This Weekend, But It's Not About the Rick Grimes Movie

Fans of The Walking Dead have been waiting an eternity for the fabled “Rick Grimes Movie”, which has been promised since Andrew Lincoln’s character was airlifted from the flagship series in Season 9, so when word of a big announcement being made this Sunday from the Walking Dead Universe it seemed that there was finally some light at the end of that particular tunnel. As you would expect then, it took no time for producer Scott M. Gimple to shoot down the idea by warning fans not expect the reveal to involve Rick Grimes or his – supposedly – upcoming movie.



Turner & Hooch Gets Canceled at Disney+ After One Season

Disney+ is getting out of the business of having canines helping the police solve crimes. Premiering on Disney+ over the summer, the Turner & Hooch series served as a continuation of the original 1989 movie of the same name, sharing a similar story with a new lead in Josh Peck. It's now been reported that Disney+ has chosen to end the show with no season 2 on the all, ending the new Turner & Hooch after one season and 12 episodes.



Anne Rice's MayFair Witches TV Show Gets Full Series Order at AMC

Earlier this year it was announced that AMC had acquired the rights to Anne Rice’s catalogue of works including The Vampire Chronicles and the trilogy Lives of the Mayfair Witches, and it now appears that both properties have been given series orders with AMC. Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches will be the second series produced in the new contract AMC has for the universe they are creating on the back of the authors numerous gothic horror novels, and will follow the Interview with the Vampire series late in 2022.



Eddie Mekka Dies, The Big Ragoo on Laverne & Shirley Was 69

Sad news has just broken as television sitcom legend Eddie Mekka has passed away. The actor, best known for his role as Carmine on Laverne & Shirley, was found dead at his home in Newhall, California on Saturday. Reportedly, friends and neighbors called cops to do a welfare check after not hearing from Mekka for a few days when his body was found.

Played by Maisie Williams in the hit HBO series Game of Thrones, Arya had been a fan favorite from the very start all the way to the end, always standing out as one of the most popular characters. She'll be available as a playable fighter in MultiVersus, and better yet, it's been confirmed that Williams will be lending her voice to the role.



Peaky Blinders Season 6 Teaser Trailer Reveals Tom Hardy's Return
