Sylvester Stallone To Lead First TV Series, Kansas City For Paramount+

Sylvester Stallone may have been saying goodbye to a number of his biggest franchise roles recently, but that doesn’t mean we have seen the last of the action hero. The Rocky star is all set to appear in the new series Kansas City on Paramount+, which comes from the creators of Boardwalk Empire and current hit Yellowstone. Having just finished up filming on The Expendables 4 and also reprised his role for filming of Guardians of the Galaxy 3, Stallone is just as popular and in demand now as he has ever been. His latest role will be the 75 year old’s first lead role in a TV series.



Henry Golding To Lead Adaptation of Dean Koontz Thriller Series Nameless

Fans of author Dean Koontz will be pleased to discover that his thriller series Nameless is heading to TV, the first adaptation of one of his works in almost a decade. The series will be based on the 12 novellas released as Ebooks published by the writer through Amazon Publishing in 2019 and June this year, and will be led by Henry Golding in the role of a man with no memory. The Crazy Rich Asians actor will be teamed again with SK Global as part of his first-look film and TV deal that he signed on with earlier this year.



More Netflix Marvel Characters Will Appear in the MCU Teases Kevin Feige

Charlie Cox is going to remain Marvel's one and only Daredevil, as Kevin Feige recently said that this role won't be recast for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Feige was careful not to officially confirm that Cox's arrival is imminent, as he refused to say for sure it was happening, only noting that if Matt Murdock were to appear in the MCU, it would be with Cox in the role. It was enough to get many fans excited as it hints at Cox popping up in that role, and likely very soon.



NBC Releases Trailer for Grand Crew

NBC has finally unveiled the trailer for its upcoming wine comedy Grand Crew. Set in East Los Angeles, the show is all about a group of wine-loving friends who get together and blow off some steam. In the process, the show becomes a commentary on the diversity in a group of young Black Los Angeles professionals with similar tastes. The Brooklyn Nine-Nine creator duo Phil Augusta Jackson and Dan Goor have teamed up yet again for this NBC comedy, this time supervising as Executive Producers.

Colin Farrell Signs On to Play Penguin in Batman Spinoff Series

It's official, Colin Farrell is getting his own Penguin spinoff series. In The Batman, the upcoming standalone movie from director Matt Reeves starring Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne, Farrell will make his debut as the supervillain Oswald Cobblepot. It doesn't seem like he'll be playing that big of a role in the story of The Batman, but he'll be getting his own chance to shine with an ongoing series.



Fear the Walking Dead Renewed for Season 8, Kim Dickens to Return

The end may be near for The Walking Dead, but its spinoff series is still moving forward on AMC. The network has just put in the official renewal for an eighth season of Fear the Walking Dead, the first of multiple spinoffs. Accompanying this announcement is the big news that series star Kim Dickens will return to the series as Madison Clark, formerly a main character who was presumably killed in season 4. She will first appear in these second half of season 7 ahead of the newly-renewed eighth season.
