The petition to revive the Netflix series Julie and The Phantoms on Change.org currently boasts a raging 100,000 signatures, as fans are unwilling to let this one go. Followers of the Netflix musical dramedy were left broken-hearted after it was announced that the show will not be resumed for a second season last month. The news had also saddened the ones associated with the show, as Kenny Ortega, executive producer, choreographer, and director of Julie and The Phantoms announced the news on Instagram in December with a heavy heart.

HBO Max Cancels Peacemaker Red Carpet Event Amid Omicron Rise

The ghost of Covid past is returning to haunt the start of 2022. Along with Sony's postponing of Morbius, HBO Max has canceled the planned red carpet premiere for James Gunn's Peacemaker series. Obviously, the series itself will still arrive on the platform on January 13th, but the recent rise in Omicron cases reportedly led to the cancelation of the event, which was due to take place on Saturday in Los Angeles. According to Deadline, the event was effectively canceled prior to the holidays, with Covid cases already starting to increase.

I Am Groot Storyboards Reveal Drax Appearance in Disney+ Series

Along with their extensive list of movies and live-action TV shows, Marvel Studios is also releasing its newest animated series on Disney+ later this year in the form of I Am Groot, and along with the titular twig, it looks like the series will feature other members of the Guardians of the Galaxy team. In a series of storyboards from the portfolio of artist Mark Hurtado, Drax the Destroyer is seen alongside Groot in a couple of the panels suggesting that other members of the group could also appear.
