The Great Renewed for Season 3 at Hulu

Hulu announced on Tuesday that The Great will return for a third season. The show’s 2nd season aired on November 19th, 2021, on Hulu with all 10 episodes. Being one of the website’s top-performing original comedies, this is no surprise at all. Elle Fanning and Nicholas Hoult will return as Catherine the Great and Emperor Peter III, respectively. Their supporting court and fellow helpers are Phoebe Fox, Adam Godley, Gwilym Lee, Charity Wakefield, Douglas Hodge, Sacha Dhawan, Bayo Gbadamosi, and Belinda Bromilow will return as well as series regulars.



Sharon Stone Boards The Flight Attendant Season 2 As Cassie's Mother

The first season of the HBO Max series The Flight Attendant gained a lot of praise, including Emmy nominations, and a second season was always going to be greenlit. A new major piece of casting for the series has revealed that Kaley Cuoco will be joined in the second season by Hollywood icon Sharon Stone, who will be playing her mother. While The Flight Attendant detailed the relationship between Cuoco’s character Cassie Bowden and her deceased father, her mother only appeared in a tiny flashback scene. That will change as the new season shifts focus to Cassie’s relationship with her estranged mother.



The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis Star Dwayne Hickman Dead at 87

Dwayne Hickman, star of the popular CBS sitcom The Many Loves of Dobie Gills, passed away at his home in Los Angeles on Sunday. The actor, artist, and television producer suffered some complications related to Parkinson's disease and was 87 at the time of his passing. The tragic news has been made public by Hickman's head of PR, Harlan Boll. An actor whose career lasted for almost three decades, Hickman's passing is surely a tragedy for the film and TV industry.



James Gunn Is Jealous of His Own Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special Script

Following his completion of The Suicide Squad and his Peacemaker spin-off series, James Gunn immediately began work on his Marvel duo of projects, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 and the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, the latter of which will premiere on Disney+ this holiday season before the third movie hits cinemas next summer. According to Gunn though, the script he wrote for the Holiday Special is so good that he has found himself getting jealous of it as he is filming Guardians 3. While the Holiday Special was meant to film first in the back-to-back shoot, the rise of Omicron cases meant a change that Gunn explained is something they have had to work around.



James Gunn Ready to Make Another Season of Peacemaker

We may not yet have seen a single episode of James Gunn's Peacemaker, but the director has already revealed that he would be happy to return and make another season of the show if allowed. While renewals of any series will depend solely on how well the current one performs, in an interview with Screen Rant, Gunn had fun when asked whether he would want to make any more seasons of the show. While he joked that he had plans to make Peacemaker until he and star John Cena are very old, the director also made it clear that everyone involved in the series would welcome a return soon.



Beauty and The Beast Prequel Series Filming In Spring, According To Josh Gad

Disney’s live-action Beauty and the Beast remake was a massive hit in 2017, so it is no surprise that the House of Mouse has gone all-in on a spin-off series based on the movie, which will start filming this spring, according to actor Josh Gad. The actor known to many Disney fans as the voice of Olaf in the Frozen franchise played the role of LeFou in Beauty and the Beast and will be reprising the role in the prequel series called The Little Town, which will also star Luke Evans back in the role of Gaston.
