Bleachers Replace Roddy Ricch as SNL Musical Guest After COVID Exposure

Indie pop act Bleachers is set to replace rapper Roddy Ricch as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live (SNL) this Saturday after the rapper had to drop out due to a COVID exposure. Ricch was set to appear alongside host Ariana Debose.



Mark Ruffalo, Hugh Laurie Board All the Light We Cannot See at Netflix

Hugh Laurie and Mark Ruffalo are set to star in Netflix's upcoming mini-series All The Light We Cannot See. The four-part series will adapt Anthony Doerr's Pulitzer Prize-winning novel of the same name to the screen. Joining Ruffalo and Laurie is newcomer Aria Mia Loberti, a blind actress playing the role of a blind French teenager Marie-Laure, whose path crosses that of young German soldier Werner as they both try to survive the devastation of World War II in occupied France. Loberti's role forms the heart of the storyline. The series is in development under Shawn Levy's banner 21 Laps Entertainment.

One of the most anticipated aspects of the show’s return is the arrival of Bridget Regan’s Pamela Isley, who will be making her Poison Ivy debut in the latest episodes. The filmmaker hoping to ignite the Alien franchise, Noah Hawley, has now provided some intriguing details regarding his upcoming television series. With the 20th Century Fox franchise now under the Disney umbrella, Hawley has revealed to Esquire that his Alien FX series will take the action to Earth for the first time, centering on advancements in artificial intelligence and the development of cyborgs.



Hell or High Water Series Adaptation in Development

The 2016 neo-western crime drama Hell or High Water is now being adapted for serial television courtesy of Fox Entertainment. Based on the critically-acclaimed movie from director David Mackenzie which starred Chris Pine and Ben Foster, Hell or High Water will make the leap from the silver screen to the small screen, with the series reportedly set to be a one-hour drama project with a script and additional material having been ordered at the broadcaster.
