The gun-slinging, cowboy hat-wearing, grizzled lawman Raylan Givens is back with Timothy Olyphant reprising his role. Justified, the critically acclaimed series ran 6 seasons and won a Peabody Award in 2011, is getting a revival, Variety reports. The show followed Givens chasing down Walton Goggins as Boyd Crowder, the villain in writer Elmore Leonard’s book, Fire in the Hole. The new show, Justified: City Primeval, is based on the book ​​​​City Primeval; High Noon in Detroit.

Gentefied Becomes First Netflix Series Cancellation of 2022

Netflix’s Latino comedy-drama Gentefied has become the latest series to be canceled by the streamer after two seasons. Produced by America Ferrera, the JJ Soria and Carlos Santos starring show premiered its second season in November last year, but having failed to feature in the platform’s top ten chart in the last three months, Netflix has decided to pull the plug on the highly-rated show. Following the lives of three Mexican American cousins who tackle gentrification, family separation, babies and borders as well as trying to stop their grandfather’s taco shop from going out of business, the 2020 debut of the show’s first season gained a high critics rating on Rotten Tomatoes, but failing to bring in high viewer numbers through its new episodes ultimately led to its demise as reported earlier today by Deadline.



The Morning Show Renewed for Season 3 at Apple

Apple announced earlier this week that The Morning Show will return for a third season. The show’s second season aired from September 17th, 2021 to November 19th, 2021. Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston will return as Bradley Jackson and Alex Levy. Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Nestor Carbonell, Karen Pittman, Julianna Marguiles, Bel Powley, Desean Terry, Janina Gavankar, Greta Lee, Steve Carell, Ruairi O’Connor will return as series regulars. Hasan Minhaj, Mindy Kaling, Holland Taylor, and more had recurring roles in season two.
