A new teaser for Moon Knight has just come in along with news that a full trailer is around the corner. On Twitter, Hulu posted a short video that includes some new footage, including our first look at Ethan Hawke as the villain opposite Oscar Isaac's titular hero. As noted in the tweet, the full trailer for the show will be arriving on Monday, Jan. 17, during the NFL Super Wild Card matchup on ESPN and ABC Network.
More tributes for Bob Saget are coming in after the comedian's shocking death on Sunday. At just 65 years old, Saget died unexpectedly in Orlando after performing at a comedy show the night before. Hosted by current host Alfonso Ribeiro, AFV is now further honoring the original host of America's Funniest Home Videos with a touching tribute video compiling some of his greatest moments from the series. For so many years, Saget had been a fixture in living rooms across the nation with the program, and this is partly why so many are in mourning.
Days away from what would have been Betty White's 100th birthday, NBC has announced an upcoming primetime special that will be aired in her honor. Dubbed Celebrating Betty White: America’s Golden Girl, the special is set for Monday, Jan. 31. The hour-long program includes White's friends celebrating her life and legacy with some of their favorite memories, along with some curated clips that showcase her “irreverent tone, spirit and impeccable comedic timing that are a hallmark of her decades-long career.”
Vincent D’Onofrio’s return as Daredevil villain Wilson “Kingpin” Fisk in the finale of the Disney+ series Hawkeye proved that once certain actors take on a role it is hard to imagine anyone else taking over that part as long as the original actor is still willing to play it. While fans were delighted to see D’Onofrio reprising his role after years of uncertainty following the cancellation of the Netflix Daredevil series, the actor himself revealed in a new interview that he originally was encouraged into the role by a long-serving Marvel icon: Hugh Jackman.
James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad introduced the world to John Cena’s Christopher Smith/Peacemaker before the former wrestler’s first major super hero role arrived this week on HBO Max in the eponymous titled spin-off series. Speaking this week on the Happy, Sad, Confused podcast, Cena revealed that he has been on a long hard road of rejection when it comes to trying to get himself cast in a big role with either the Marvel Cinematic Universe or the DCEU. Director James Gunn has been more than happy with Cena’s performance as Peacemaker, and his praised the actor throughout production on both of their projects together, yet as Cena explained, he just missed out on some other iconic roles.
It's time to head back to South Park. Comedy Central has announced that an all-new season of South Park, which serves as the 25th overall season of the long-running animated series, will be premiering on the channel on Feb. 2. The gun-slinging, cowboy hat-wearing, grizzled lawman Raylan Givens is back with Timothy Olyphant reprising his role. Justified, the critically acclaimed series ran 6 seasons and won a Peabody Award in 2011, is getting a revival, Variety reports. The show followed Givens chasing down Walton Goggins as Boyd Crowder, the villain in writer Elmore Leonard’s book, Fire in the Hole. The new show, Justified: City Primeval, is based on the book City Primeval; High Noon in Detroit.
