Marg Helgenberger Will Return as Catherine Willows in CSI: Vegas Season 2

CSI: Vegas might have lost its legacy stars from season 1, but another big name will be filling the void with her return in the second season. Deadline reports that Marg Helgenberger has now officially signed on to reprise her CSI role as Catherine Willows in CSI: Vegas following prior reports that she was in negotiations. Per the report, Helgenberger will be returning as a series regular, making Catherine's comeback much more than a mere cameo.



Blade Runner 2099 Live-Action Series is Happening at Amazon with Ridley Scott

The Blade Runner story is moving forward on the small screen. Deadline reports that Amazon Studios has production has started on Blade Runner 2099, a live-action series that serves as a continuation of the Ridley Scott's 1982 film Blade Runner and its 2017 sequel Blade Runner 2049. Scott is on board to executive produce the series while Silka Luisa (Apple TV+'s upcoming drama Shining Girls) will serve as a writer and executive producer. The series is a collaboration between Scott Free Productions in association with Alcon Entertainment and Amazon Studios.

Daredevil and every other Netflix series appear to be leaving the service next month. Daredevil and the other five series — Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, The Defenders, and The Punisher — now have disclaimers on them that say they are leaving the service on March 1.

Rashida Jones (Parks and Recreation) is set to star in the Apple TV+ production, Sunny. According to Deadline, Sunny is a half-hour 10-episode dark comedic drama created by Katie Robbins (The Affair, The Last Tycoon) and directed by Lucy Tcherniak (Station Eleven, The End of the F***ing World).
