The Fox Animation Lineup is getting some new residents! The cast of Bloom County will be joining the lineup in their own animated series. Cartoonist Berkeley Breathed confirmed today on his social media that an animated show is in the works based on his ongoing comic strip.
When the news broke that the Netflix-produced Marvel shows were leaving the streaming service at the end of February, fans believed it would be only a matter of time before announcements started happening about when we might start seeing those characters show up in new shows on Disney owned streaming services. With Daredevil and Kingpin showing up in Spider-Man: Far From Home and Hawkeye, respectively, fans were excited about the possibility of seeing the rest of the Netflix heroes again.

Although no one really expected it, that Marvel journey has included the reappearance of a new and updated version of Howard, voiced in the MCU by Family Guy and Austin Powers star Seth Green. After several cameo roles in the Guardians of the Galaxy movies and the briefest of appearances in Avengers: Endgame, Howard lovers may have been given some idea of where to watch for the sarcastic anthropomorphic duck's next appearance.
The Addams Family is getting rebooted at Netflix with director Tim Burton, and the new series will center on Wednesday Addams with Jenna Ortega in the lead role. Production on the series, dubbed Wednesday, is currently underway and it's expected to debut on Netflix sometime this year. The live-action series is unrelated to the recent animated films and will follow Wednesday as an older teenager as she attends Nevermore Academy, where she will utilize her psychic ability to help solve a supernatural mystery involving her kooky family.

In an interview with The Big Issue, actor Colm Meaney, who played Chief Miles O'Brien in Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, said he would be open to reprising the role for a potential series based around Michael Dorn's Worf. The actor has been very vocal about his desire to return as the Son of Mogh, and now, it looks like Dorn's idea for a Captain Worf series has the support of at least one more of his former co-stars and crewmates.
