Secret Invasion has been giving away little about its plot despite a number of photos and videos being leaked from the set, but it seems that Samuel L. Jackson has been happy to share one piece of casting knowledge that has so far remained uncertain. According to Secret Invasion’s lead, Martin Freeman will be returning to the MCU in the new Marvel series as CIA agent Everett Ross which will directly tie the series to Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, which will also star Freeman in the role.

Star Wars fans have been awaiting the return of Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan Kenobi for years, and his new Disney+ series is finally making it a reality and is providing a double win of also bringing back Hayden Christensen as Darth Vader for another face face-to-face confrontation. Recently McGregor revealed exactly how he saw Vader return for the first time when he saw the iconic movie villain on set. With the 6-episode series filling in some of the years between Revenge of The Sith and A New Hope, there is a lot of expectation about the show, and that is something that can always come back to bite a franchise.



Disney+ Launch Turned Obi-Wan Kenobi Into a Series Says Lucasfilm President

Following the release of Solo: A Star Wars Story, there seemed to be a change at Lucasfilm that saw a number of future projects being put on the backburner or being scrapped entirely. One project that seemed to be in uncertain territory was an Obi-Wan Kenobi movie that would have followed solo and brought Ewan McGregor back to Star Wars as the Jedi master. Now of course we are getting ready to see McGregor and Hayden Christensen in the series Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy has revealed how the launch of Disney+ played a big part in the project’s transition from movie to series.



Mike Myers Joins Instagram to Tease His New Series The Pentaverate

Mike Myers joined the world of Instagram last week and it seems his main reason for doing so is to drop a whole bunch of cryptic photos that are all linked to the number 5. His latest post, showing a helicopter with the number 5 on the side of it, also came with the comment of “5 Days. The 5th hour.” All in all, it seems to point to something coming on Wednesday, and thankfully Netflix were able to clear up that it will be a first look at Myers’ new comedy series The Pentaverate, which a press release revealed will drop on Wednesday, March 16, at 5:55am PT.



Geena Davis to Star in Mother-Son Legal Drama for CBS Pilot

Some amazing news for Geena Davis fans: the Academy Award Winner is coming to TV again. According to Deadline, The actress is set to star in an upcoming CBS pilot as part of the main cast. The legal drama will see Davis as a mother who is forced to reconnect with her detective son after witnessing her own marriage’s dissolution. Davis’ character is described to be a “razor-sharp” attorney and her son a “talented” private investigator therefore we will most likely see the pair working together on a case or two.



Parents TV Council Blasts Disney+ for Adding Mature Content Like Daredevil and The Punisher

The Parents Television and Media Council (PTC) has criticized Disney+ ahead of the debut of Daredevil, The Punisher, and other Netflix-produced Marvel TV shows on the streaming platform on March 16, 2022. All six Defenders universe shows (Daredevil, Jessica Jones, The Punisher, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, The Defenders) are rated TV-MA (Mature Audiences Only) and thus are unsuitable for children. This does not sit well with the PTC, who last week slammed HBO’s Euphoria as well, calling it "grossly irresponsible" for its graphic depiction of nudity, drug use, and child abuse.

News has been fast coming in about the Quantum Leap reboot. While we have casting information and a basic plot of the pilot, there’s still so much we don’t know about the reboot. One thing we do know is that one of the producers of the reboot is Martin Gero.
