Harley Quinn Co-Creator Announces Kite Man Spinoff Series at SXSW

Harley Quinn's Kite Man is getting his own spinoff series. With fans still patiently waiting for HBO Max to release the third season of Harley Quinn, it was revealed by series co-creator Patrick Schumacker at South by Southwest (SXSW) that there will be even more to come with the animated hit getting its first spinoff. Called Noonan's, the spinoff will put Kite Man into the central role after he buys Noonan's Bar, which serves as a hub for Gotham's supervillains.



Darth Maul Was Reportedly in Early Plans for Obi-Wan Kenobi Series

Two Scarlet Witch Projects Rumored, Including Avengers: The Children's Crusade

Rumors began to bubble to the top of the cauldron a couple of weeks that Elizabeth Olsen had extended her Marvel Studios contract and a possible Scarlet Witch movie was in the works. Now, a well-known source for Marvel Cinematic Universe rumors, Murphy's Multiverse, has reported that there are two projects in development at the studio featuring the Scarlet Witch: an adaptation of the Young Avengers story Avengers: The Children's Crusade by Allan Heinberg, Jim Cheung, Mark Morales, Justin Ponsor, and Cory Petit, and a solo Scarlet Witch project.



Tokyo Vice Trailer: Ansel Elgort and Ken Watanabe Star in Michael Mann Directed Thriller

HBO Max has released the official trailer for the upcoming thriller series, Tokyo Vice. Based on actual events, Tokyo Vice stars Ansel Elgort as American journalist Jake Adelstein, who, while reporting for a Japanese newspaper, uncovers corruption within the Tokyo Vice police squad. The show was created by award-winning playwright J.T. Rogers and is inspired by Adelstein’s 2009 memoir, Tokyo Vice: An American Reporter on the Police Beat in Japan. Veteran filmmaker Michael Mann (Heat, Miami Vice) has directed the pilot of the 8-episode series. Tokyo Vice will premiere on HBO Max on April 7, 2022. You can check out the trailer below.
