Resident Evil: Netflix's Live-Action Series Gets Summer Release Date

The T-Virus will infect Netflix in July. On Thursday, the streamer released a trio of teaser posters for Resident Evil, a live-action series based on the survival horror video games. They include the official release date, revealing that the series will start streaming on July 14, 2022. You can check out those posters below.



Samuel L. Jackson Confirms Don Cheadle Will Appear in Secret Invasion

Samuel L. Jackson has become a loose cannon when it comes to revealing details about who will be appearing in the upcoming Secret Invasion series on Disney+. Only a few days ago, the MCU’s Nick Fury let slip that Martin Freeman would be making his Marvel return in the series, and now Jackson has also confirmed that Don Cheadle will also be back as James “Rhodey” Rhodes, better known as War Machine.



Star Wars Andor Release Date Reportedly Revealed

With the recent debut of the Ms. Marvel trailer this past Tuesday, the official Disney+ calendar about upcoming series release dates is beginning to become a bit clearer now. With several Marvel and Star Wars projects already confirmed to be premiering this year, Star Wars: Andor, the Rogue One prequel series, still hasn't officially been announced a release date yet. The next Star Wars project to premiere on Disney+ is the highly-anticipated Obi-Wan Kenobi series, which will finally be arriving on May 25. Now that Ms. Marvel has been revealed to premiere this June, it is more than likely that Andor will premiere sometime between Obi-Wan Kenobi and the third season of The Mandalorian.



Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight Series Announced at Netflix, Jack Black to Return

Fans of Kung Fu Panda have a lot to be excited about. In honor of National Panda Day, Netflix has officially announced Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight, an all-new series set in the Kung Fu Panda universe. Better yet, the show brings back Jack Black as the voice of Po to create more "PANDA-MONIUM" in the role. No additional names have yet been announced for the voice cast and it's unclear when the series will start streaming.



Netflix Announces New Dr. Seuss Content for Preschoolers

Netflix will be delving further into the wacky world of Dr. Seuss. The streamer has just announced an extended partnership with Dr. Seuss Enterprises to develop five new animated preschool series and specials based on the various works of the legendary children's book author. Titles confirmed to get new projects through the deal include Horton Hears a Who!; The Sneetches; One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish; and Wacky Wednesday. Lovable characters like Thidwick the Big-Hearted Moose will also be involved.



Bad Vegan Premieres March 16th: A Story of Pure Food, Gaslighting, and NYC Scandal

From Chris Smith, the executive producer of Tiger King and director of Fyre: The Greatest Party That Never Happened, is the latest true-crime documentary from Netflix, Bad Vegan: Fame. Fraud. Fugitives., a wild four-part documentary series that tells the story of Sarma Melngailis, a superstar raw food chef from New York City, New York. Sarma married a shady hustler and went from being known as the queen of vegan cuisine to being a woman on the run until she was eventually busted for ordering a Domino's pizza. Her misdeeds done at his urging resulted in a collateral-damage tally of $6.1 million, according to The Daily Beast.



Pedro Pascal Says The Last of Us Will Be 'Harrowing' and Teases His Character's Fate

After getting a bad reputation due to many critically panned adaptations, video game movies and TV shows have taken a step up in recent years. Joining the long list of game franchises being adapted is The Last of Us, the survival horror Playstation title that will come to HBO Max next year as a series starring Pedro Pascal in the lead role of Joel Miller and Bella Ramsey as his young companion Ellie. While the game series has already spawned a sequel, it is currently unknown how close to the game’s storyline the series will stick, but one person who has insight into that is Pascal.
