Maury Has Been Canceled After 30 Seasons

It's the end of an era for daytime television. After more than three decades on the air, Deadline reports that the long-running talk show Maury, featuring Maury Povich, has just been canceled by NBCUniversal. The series is reportedly set to end production at the end of its current season, which will result in new episodes continuing to air through September. While new episodes will no longer be produced, the show is not leaving the airwaves as repeats will still be airing in syndication.

True Detective Season 4 Is Happening at HBO with Barry Jenkins and Issa Lopez

HBO has officially announced the fourth season of the acclaimed crime drama series True Detective. Issa Lopez (Tigers Are Not Afraid) will be taking over writing duties from creator Nic Pizzolatto. Lopez will also serve as an executive producer in addition to directing the pilot. Barry Jenkins (Moonlight, If Beale Street Could Talk) will also be executive producing the show, tentatively titled True Detective: Night Country.
