The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special Will Introduce New MCU Heroes

Last year James Gunn teased that the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special would feature the introduction of one of the “great new Marvel characters”, which led to a lot of fan speculation about just who that would be. Now the writer/director has gone one step further to suggest that more than one Marvel hero will be making their first MCU appearance in the Disney+ show this December. Along with his expectation-setting suggestion that this is the “best thing he’s ever done”, the special is already getting more hype than the third Guardians movie that follows it.

While James Gunn is now filming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3, we will see the ragtag group a couple of times before that movie arrives next year. First members of the Guardians team will be joining Thor in Love and Thunder this summer, and then we will see them again in the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special in December. In a recent interview with the Radio Times, Gunn called the new special “the greatest thing he’s ever done in his life” and seemed to suggest that it is more wild and unbelievable than anything he has previously been a part of.



Only Murders in the Building Season 2 Gets Summer Premiere Date on Hulu

Fans of the hit series Only Murders in the Building will have an important date to mark on the calendar. On Friday, Hulu released a new teaser for the show's upcoming second season that features main cast members Steve Martin, Selena Gomez, and Martin Short. Addressing the viewers from the inside of an elevator, the trio announced that season 2 of the acclaimed series will start streaming this summer with an official premiere date set for June 28, 2022. James Gunn Teases More DC Cameos in Peacemaker Season 2

Peacemaker’s finale brought an unexpected appearance from the Justice League to tie it completely to the DCEU, and although not all of the members were in attendance, some NSFW banter between John Cena’s Peacemaker, Jason Momoa’s Aquaman and Ezra Miller’s The Flash was more than enough to lead fans to wonder if more cameos are on the cards for Peacemaker season 2. Ethan Hawke Didn’t Read The Script Before Signing Up For Moon Knight

Ethan Hawke is playing the antagonist Arthur Harrow in the upcoming Disney+ original, Moon Knight, which is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This role is Hawke’s first venture into a superhero project, wherein he’ll be sharing the screen with Oscar Isaac, who plays the titular cult vigilante from the Marvel Comics. While Hawke is known for his eccentric roles in several independent films, as well as is a prolific writer; however, in surprising revelation from Moon Knight director Mohamed Diab, it turns out the actor never read the show’s script. And for an actor who goes into depth about his characters, it’s pretty much an unexpected move.



Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi Will Reveal a Different Kind of Darth Vader, Director Says

The highly-anticipated limited series, Obi-Wan Kenobi, will finally see the return of Ewan McGregor as the legendary Jedi Master. Also set to return in the upcoming Disney+ series, is none other than Hayden Christensen himself, starring as the infamous Darth Vader. During a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, director Deborah Chow teases that fans will get to see a different side of Darth Vader in the upcoming series. Obi-Wan Kenobi will join the ranks of the Star Wars original programming on Disney+ alongside The Book of Boba Fett, The Mandalorian, Star Wars: The Bad Batch, and Star Wars: Visions.



New Charlotte's Web Adaptation Coming to HBO Max

There’s a new project coming from Sesame Workshop, and this one is heading back to the barn. The classic children’s book, Charlotte’s Web by E. B. White, gains another adaptation from HBO Max. Luke Matheny will serve as head writer and executive producer.
