Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt Wedding: Karisma Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni share first picture from mehendi ceremony

Bollywood actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, who have been in a relationship for a while, are getting hitched on April 14. The actors were keeping mum on their impending nuptials but on April 13, both Karan Johar and Ayan Mukerji unveiled a teaser of the song ‘Kesariya’ from Brahmastra confirming that the two actors are getting married this week. The festivities began on April 13 with the Ganesha puja followed by mehendi ceremony. Ahead of the wedding day today, Karisma Kapoor shared first photo from mehendi ceremony.

Karisma Kapoor on Thursday took to Instagram stories to share a photo of herself with henna on her legs. She wrote, “I love mehendi.” For the ceremony, the actress wore an oversized style mustard traditional dress.

Riddhima Kapoor Sahni also took to her Instagram story to share a glimpse of her mehendi.

The wedding will take place today, April 14. The baaraat will start from Krishna Raj bungalow and go to Ranbir’s ancestral home.

Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s wedding festivities began on April 13 and ended on April 17. The actors will also be seen on the big screen together with Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra. The film arrives in theatres on September 9, 2022.

KGF 2 Box Office Advance: Yash shatters all records; collects Rs. 31 crores in advance booking for Day 1

KGF: Chapter 2 has shattered and rewritten all records at the box office, as the movie has collected Rs. 31 crores nett with merely the advance ticket sales for the opening day. The Prashanth Neel film was historic since the day the advances opened, but none expected it to challenge or rather surpass the advance bookings of War. The opening day advance of KGF 2 is higher than the full day collections of all Bollywood films since the release of War in 2019. The advance booking alone has crossed opening day business of films like Dabangg 3 [Salman Khan], Good Newwz [Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor], Tanhaji [Ajay Devgn], Sooryavanshi [Akshay Kumar], 83 [Ranveer Singh], Gangubai Kathiawadi [Alia Bhatt] to name some. In-fact, the advance booking for the opening day has also surpassed the lifetime biz of many pandemic releases of Bollywood.

Be it single screens or multiplexes, KGF 2 has set the cash registers rolling. The Yash film has sold tickets for more than 50 percent of the overall occupancy and this is just expected to grow further through the day, once the tickets sell on the spot at counters. The movie is now poised to challenge the opening day figure of War by collecting over Rs. 51 crore on its opening day. If the audience word of mouth is positive, the opening weekend of KGF 2 will be near the Rs. 200 crore mark, and the film would set a record that would stand unchallenged for the days to come. Be it Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata or Gujarat, Pune, Bihar – the movie has recorded houseful boards across the nation.

This sort of response has been recorded by very few films in the history of Indian cinema in Hindi belts. This has frequently happened for Salman Khan releases between 2010 to 2019, with others in the list being Dhoom 3 and Baahubali 2. KGF 2 has joined the prestigious list of films with unprecedented pre-release hype and if the reports are anywhere close to justify the pre-release hype, it will set new records by the end of its run in Hindi belts.

Talking of advance for the weekend, the movie has netted Rs. 55 crores already and this is also a record for any film in the history of Indian cinema in Hindi belts. The weekend advance has surpassed the likes of War, Sultan, Bahubali 2 and Tiger Zinda Hai.

Britney Spears expecting first child with boyfriend Sam Asghari months after being released from 13-year conservatorship

Popstar Britney Spears recently revealed that she and her partner Sam Asghari are expecting their first child together. The announcement comes after the singer was released from 13-year conservatorship which, as she says, required her to stay on birth control.

The ‘Toxic’ singer took to Instagram Monday to announce that she and Sam Asghari are expecting their first child together. “I lost so much weight to go on my Maui trip only to gain it back,” Spears wrote referencing the couple’s recent Hawaiian getaway.

“I thought ‘Geez … what happened to my stomach ???’ My husband said ‘No you’re food pregnant silly !!!’ So I got a pregnancy test … and uhhhhh well … I am having a baby.” Spears said that four days after taking a pregnancy test, she got a “little more food pregnant,” before again implying that she is with child. “It’s growing !!!” she continued. “If 2 are in there … I might just loose [sic] it,” she wrote alongside a photo of a cup of tea surrounded by flowers.

The global artist noted she wouldn’t be appearing in public much because she wants to avoid the paparazzi and also opened up about her mental health during a previous pregnancy. “I obviously won’t be going out as much due to the paps getting their money shot of me like they unfortunately already have … it’s hard because when I was pregnant I had perinatal depression … I have to say it is absolutely horrible… women didn’t talk about it back then … some people considered it dangerous if a woman complained like that with a baby inside her … but now women talk about it everyday … thank Jesus we don’t have to keep that pain a reserved proper secret… “

She concluded her post by writing, “This time I will be doing yoga every day !!! Spreading lots of joy and love.” Asghari seemingly confirmed it himself Monday afternoon on Instagram, posting, “Marriage and kids are a natural part of a strong relationship filled with love and respect. Fatherhood is something I have always looked forward to and I don’t take lightly. It is the most important job I will ever do.” Though she referred to Asghari as her “husband” in the shared post, it remains unclear if they have tied the knot. The pair got engaged in September 2021 and since only a while, Spears started referring to him as her husband.

News of the pregnancy comes less than a year after Spears’s testimony in June 2021 during which she signaled intentions to settle down and have more children, alleging that her conservatorship included contraception clauses and barred her from having more children. “I would like to progressively move forward and I want to have the real deal. I want to be able to get married and have a baby,” she told Judge Brenda Penny during a hearing to discuss her conservatorship, which formally ended in November after 13 years. “I have an [IUD] inside of myself so I don’t get pregnant. They don’t want me to have children — any more children.”

Britney Spears shares two kids with her former husband Kevin Federline: Sean Preston Federline, 16, and Jayden James Federline, 15.

KGF 2 Box Office: Collects Rs. 16 crore for opening day in advance booking; likely to cross opening day of RRR

Bollywood Hungama has been constantly reporting about the historic advance booking trend of KGF: Chapter 2 at the box office in the Hindi belts. The movie has become a rage across the nation as according to some initial data we have received, KGF: Chapter 2 has already collected Rs. 16 crore nett for the opening day with merely the advance booking sale. To put things into perspective, by the end of Wednesday, the advance booking of KGF 2 would have crossed the opening day of RRR (Rs. 19 crore), which is the biggest opener of 2022 in Hindi belts.

The advance booking of KGF 2 has already gone past the full day business of films like Antim, Bell Bottom, Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui, Gangubai, 83, Satyameva Jayate 2, Pushpa and Tadap to name some. Of the Rs. 16 crore, Rs 7.25 crore approx. has come from the three national chains, PVR, Inox and Cinepolis – whereas the remaining figure has come from non national chains and single screens. Even the places which are usually dependent on spot bookings are selling tickets like hot pancakes in advance.

KGF 2 is competing with films like War and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, which had created an all time record in the advance booking in Hindi belts. The two films had sold 4.05 lakh and 3.40 lakh tickets respectively in the national chains, and the trends suggest that KGF 2 will end up somewhere in between the two record openers or may be marginally above War.

The advance of KGF 2 in Hindi circuits will be second biggest of all time for an Indian film after the giant, Baahubali 2, in terms of ticket sales, and probably the highest ever for an Indian film if we take total collections into account. We shall have a clearer picture on this by Wednesday night. While Jersey would have acted as an opponent stopping KGF 2 from reaching its true potential on opening day, the Yash film now has an open ground to explode on April 14.

Bollywood Hungama predicts the film to open in the Rs. 40 crore range on Thursday and truly feel that it also has a chance of hitting the Rs. 50 crore number. This is nothing but a historic feat, more of a repeat telecast from April 2017, when Baahubali 2 was released.

Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt Wedding: Alia blushes when Farah Khan’s fans congratulate her on sets of song sequence shoot for Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani with Ranveer Singh

Bollywood actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, who have been in a relationship for a while, are all set to get married on April 14. The actors have been keeping mum on their nuptials but the preparations are on in full swing on both the groom and bride’s sides. As the duo is wrapping up some work schedules, the pre-wedding festivities begin on April 13. Both their residences have been lit up with lights but the actors.

Like mentioned, both actors are busy wrapping up their busy schedules. Alia Bhatt was seen shooting for a song sequence with Ranveer Singh on Monday for Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The actress was dressed in a black shimmery saree whereas Ranveer was donning an ivory sherwani. Choreographer Farah Khan, who is travelling abroad, was seen on a video call with both the actors. In the video, Alia Bhatt is seen seated next to Ranveer Singh.

Farah Khan asked the actress “Missing me na?” to which she replied “a lot”. Immediately, Farah’s fans started wishing her congratulations. The actress was blushing and smiling and asked ‘for what?’

Meanwhile, preparations for Ranbir and Alia’s intimate wedding are in full swing. According to reports, the couple will be getting married on April 14 at Ranbir’s Bandra home- Vastu- in the presence of family members and close friends. Ayan Mukerji and Karan Johar from the film industry are expected to be at the wedding. The mehendi ceremony will be held on April 13.
