The wedding was attended by their family and close friends. The wedding took place at Kapoor family’s ancestral home Vaastu with over 50 guests in attendance.
In an interview with India Today, the bride’s half-brother, Rahul Bhatt, revealed that the wedding preparations were “exquisite,” and the food was “outstanding.” “It was a lovely wedding overall,” he added. “Both the groom (Ranbir) and the bride (Alia) appeared to be princes and princesses,” Rahul said. “They were made for each other. It doesn’t get much better than that, in my opinion.”
“Alia made a fantastic choice in Ranbir,” he continued. “He is a pleasant person. He’ll take care of her. He will adore and admire her. He is a cultured man. I wished him all the best. Alia’s film choices are excellent, and she also picked the right life partner.”
Rahul Bhatt revealed that the bride and groom took four pheras with the pandit explaining the significance of each phera. “Intriguingly, the wedding featured four pheras rather than seven,” he explained. He went on to say that he was also a part of the ceremony that required the brothers’ presence.
Along with Rahul, Alia’s father Mahesh Bhatt, mother Soni Razdan, sisters Pooja Bhatt and Shaheen Bhatt attended the wedding. Ranbir Kapoor’s family Neetu Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor, niece Samara Nanda, brother-in-law Bharat Nanda, cousins Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Armaan Jain, Aadar Jain among others were in attendance.

The first photos from Ranbir and Alia’s wedding were shared by the actress on her Instagram account. The photos from the intimate wedding ceremony had everyone swooning!
Ditching the regular lehengas for the wedding ceremony, Alia Bhatt donned a white organza saree with beautiful tilla work designed by Sabyasachi Mukherjee. It had gold embroidery on a white base. The needlework featured natural themes such as butterflies and flowers. The saree’s borders are embellished with gold sequins. The actress was all decked out in the same designer’s jewellery – a hefty necklace with uncut diamonds, as well as matching jhumka earrings, bangles and maangtikka patti complemented her look.
Alia kept her make-up to a minimal minimum, opting for a flawless complexion, bare lips, flushed cheeks, light coral eye-shadow, minimal mehendi, red bindi, and her million-dollar grin with her hair left open.
If Alia was the most stunning bride on her wedding day, her husband Ranbir Kapoor wowed us as well. Ivory is still a popular choice among grooms. Ranbir opted for an ivory Sherwani with Sabyasachi uncut diamond buttons, a silk organza safa, and a zari marori embroidered shawl.
Ranbir opted for Kilangi by Sabyasachi’s heritage jewellery, which has uncut diamonds, emeralds, and pearls, as well as a multistrand pearl necklace. Both bride and groom are styled by Ami Patel. Alia captioned her post as

She mentioned she has always been self-conscious about her body from a very young age. She also said that she hit a rock bottom in her life during which she had suicidal thoughts due to a very sensitive topic. Ileana also expressed how upset she was in an Instagram Live when an article read that she had attempted suicide due to the same problem.
Talking about the incident, the actor revealed that the article might have been written with positive intentions, but it upset her because it made wrong assumptions about her. She exclusively spoke to Bollywood Hungama, “I came across an article, because many people messaged me that ‘we didn’t know this about you.’ It was I think meant in good intent, but it annoyed me because a lot of stuff was taken out of context. Yes I’ve had body issues, from the time I was probably 12, I was very self-conscious. that’s one aspect.
She added, “The other aspect about the suicidal bit, it is a very very sensitive topic, and there has been a time where I hit a really low point in my life, and it got to a situation where I was thinking about stuff, but it wasn’t related to body issues. Those are two separate issues, so I didn’t like the fact that they clubbed them together like that ‘oh you know because she had body issues.’ I said, ‘no,’ not to say that if somebody else is going through something like that, you should downplay it.”
On the work front, Ileana D’Cruz was seen in a song named ‘Ooo Ooo’, which is composed and sung by Qaran with lyrics by Qaran and Siddhesh Patole. The actor will next be seen in Unfair and Lovely opposite actor Randeep Hooda.
