According to early estimates, the movie has collected in the range of Rs. 2.85 to 3.15 crores on its first day. The film had nothing going in its favour and if one were to pass a judgement from just the morning shows, even Rs. 2.50 crores would have been a challenge.
There was a little growth, as expected towards the evening and night shows, which has got the film in the vicinity of Rs. 3 crores. But this growth was not enough to give it a respectable start. This opening has basically downed the curtains for Jayeshbhai Jordaar already as it would be yet another post pandemic release to end in the vicinity of Rs. 20 to 30 crores in the best case scenario.
One would have hoped for word of mouth to come into picture and lift the collections through the weekend, but with Jayeshbhai Jordaar, the talk is also highly mixed. While the film genre caters to a multiplex audience, the look and feel of the film can’t attract the high end plex audience any longer. This is a film that probably didn’t even warrant the presence of someone like Ranveer Singh, but nonetheless, what’s done is done. We have our eyes now set on how the film performs in its opening weekend.
While a jump is unlikely, but we would still hope for the film to show some miracle and surprise us through the weekend run.

Mohapatra took to Instagram to criticise patriarchy after social media users began to comment on Ira’s choice of attire in the presence of her parents, writing, “Please keep in mind that Ira Khan is 25 years old and that her outfit choice has nothing to do with what #AamirKhan said, did, or did not do in the past. A mature, independent woman. Is exercising her right to choose. It does not require her father’s or your permission.”

“The 24/7 troll brigade in the last 24 hours in the garb of ‘sanskaari’ custodians of our ‘culture’ have showcased their own ‘sanskaar’ by asking me to pose naked in the public, then even extended this courtesy to my 70-year-old mother, who has no voice or say in this conversation,” she said, opening up about being trolled for her post. “All within the last twenty-four hours after I chastised them for trolling a young woman whose birthday party I attended over the weekend,” she added.
The 45-year-old has spent the majority of her time since then deleting such comments and applying filters to her page, as she explains: “Despite having the strongest profanity filters enabled on my pages, I have been continuously deleting garbage.”
She emphasised the importance of challenging this mentality in order to change how women are treated in society in this passage. “We have also received horrifying reports of gang rapes in various parts of the country in recent days. What is the connection, one wonders? These heinous crimes were brought to light because brave girls reported them, are seeking justice, and are not sweeping them under the rug like so many others.”
“Even normalising such trolling and shaming of young women on the Internet for their clothing choices strengthens and encourages a**holes and misogynistic behaviour not only online, but also in real life. Because, in the end, this sick online behaviour is nothing more than a reflection of societal mindsets,” she concluded.

The two were last seen together in the film Badhaai Do which was released in theatres earlier this year. The duo will next be seen on the big screen on November 18. Sinha’s Bheed which had=s wrapped its shoot will hit the big screen on November 18.
Billed as a social drama, Bheed is jointly produced by Sinha and Bhushan Kumar, who formerly supported the filmmaker’s Thappad.
Talking about the film, Sinha had earlier said, “Bheed is one of those titles that the whole team jumps at the moment you propose it. To me, casting was crucial. Raj is a very intriguing actor. He is one of the very few actors who can be so successfully transparent in a story. There always was a keen desire to work with him and I am looking forward to it. I am honoured to have a solid collaborator like Bhushan on my side who is such a strong pillar and a sturdy sounding board.”
Meanwhile, Rajkummar Rao is currently shooting for Mr. and Mrs. Mahi with Janhvi Kapoor. He will also be seen in the film HIT alongside Sanya Malhotra and the Netflix web series Guns and Gulaabs starring Dulquer Salmaan and Adarsh Gourav. Bhumi, on the other hand, has Raksha Bandhan and The Lady Killer in the pipeline.

According to media outlet reports on May 9, Woo Do Hwan is currently in talks to play the male lead Kang Han Soo, a skilled Joseon-era lawyer. Kang Han Soo defends and completes the law in order to get revenge, but eventually becomes the people’s spokesperson and hero. As reported by Bona’s agency King Kong by Starship, Bona is also reviewing the offer for the role of female lead Lee Yeon Joo, a person who commissions a case in order to seek revenge. If she accepts, the role will also mark her first lead role on the small screen.
As Korean tabloid Soompi reports, based on a webtoon of the same name, Joseon Lawyer is a cathartic and warm drama following the story of the wicked lawyer Kang Han Soo, who files lawsuits that are previously planned and uses the feelings of wronged victims to his advantage, as he unintentionally becomes revered as a hero and a problem solver among the common people. Eventually, he matures to become a truly just lawyer. The drama uses the Gyeongguk daejeon (code of law from the late Goryeo and early Joseon Dynasties) as a motif, but the story itself is fictional. The multi-genre fusion history drama will combine elements of romance and revenge.
On the work front, Woo Do Hwan previously appeared in Sweet Stranger and Me, The Divine Fury, The King: Eternal Monarch and will also be starring in the upcoming drama Hunting Dogs. Meanwhile, Bona’s projects include Girls’ Generation 1979 and most recently played the role of Ko Yu Rim in the hit tvN drama Twenty Five, Twenty One.

The film that was released on April 14 still continues to dominate box office across the country despite the release of several big Bollywood films. The Yash starrer was unanimously accepted by the audience across the country and was celebrated in the theatres.
Following the success of the film, filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma who is known to express his opinions about the film industry said that KGF has eaten up several big films. “KGF2 is like a quick sand just swallowing up all old fashioned biggies,” he wrote in of his tweets.

A couple of days back, the filmmaker took a dig at Bollywood for not being able to bring box office successes like South films. “@prashanth_neel‘s #KGF2 is not just a gangster film but It’s also a HORROR film for the Bollywood industry and they will have nightmares about it’s success for years to come,” he wrote on Twitter.
In another tweet, he said that Yash is practically destroyed whole of Bollywood with his massy stardom and blockbuster movie. “Like very much how Rocky Bhai comes to Mumbai to machine gun the villains, @TheNameIsYash is literally machine gunning all the Bollywood stars opening collections and it’s final collections will be a nuclear bomb thrown on Bollywood from Sandalwood,” he wrote.

The trailer of the film which was released a couple of weeks back received a lot of love from the audience. The title track of the film, too, was equally well received by the audience. Now, the makers are all set to launch the song ‘De Taali’ from the film, a week before the film’s theatrical release.
For the launch of the song, Kartik and Kiara will be taking an adventure ride. The duo along with the film’s director Anees Bazmee, producers Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khetani will be launching the song at Imagicaa Theme park. For the first time ever, a co-branded horror ride named on the forthcoming movie Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 will be seen.
Directed by Anees Bazmee, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 also stars Tabu and Rajpal Yadav. The film is a sequel to the 2007 blockbuster starring Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, and Shiney Ahuja. However, the second part is a completely new story with new characters. The film will be released on May 13.
