Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 Advance Booking Report: Kartik Aaryan starrer expected to open around Rs. 10 cr. on Day 1

The soon to release Kartik Aaryan starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has been making headlines for the past few weeks. In the run up to its release on Friday next week, the makers are leaving no stone unturned to ensure its success at the box office. Looking at the past few weeks with releases underperforming at the box office, expectations of the Kartik starrer are at an all-time high. But will the film entice the audience or will it like releases from the previous weeks flounder at the box office.

Reports of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’s advance bookings that are coming are paint a rather optimistic picture. As per reports, the film has garnered a favourable advance booking in major markets like Maharashtra, Delhi, and Gujarat. In fact, going by the advance booking rate the film could see its opening day business record double digits with over Rs. 10 cr. coming in on Day 1. Besides this, the advance booking for Day 1 looks likely in the range of Rs. 4 to 4.5 cr. by the time the movie releases.

The film producers (T-Series and Cine1 Studios) have decided to open the bookings at regular minimal- basic prices and premium rates. The ticket prices for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 will witness the lowest rate for any movie post-pandemic. Sources close to the film say that the makers have kept the audiences first before thinking about making profits on the film. The makers are confident and believe in the film and want more audiences to come to the cinema and enjoy this family film.

Currently, with trade estimates indicating a good response to the film in both mass dominated single screen sectors and multiplex dominated metros, the Kartik Aaryan starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 could break the dry spell Bollywood releases have had over the past few weeks.

Kartik Gowda debunks rumours on KGF Chapter 3, says ‘won’t be starting anytime soon’

Yash starrer KGF Chapter 2 has seen earth shattering collections at the box office. In the post credits scene, it was shown that the film will have a third installment. For weeks, speculations are rife that the work on KGF: Chapter 3 has begun. Producer Vijay Kiragandur also gave a timeline as well that they hoped the film would begin later this year.

However, now Executive Producer Karthik Gowda’s tweet has debunked the rumours. On Saturday night, Kartik wrote on Twitter, “The news doing the rounds are all speculation. With a lot of exciting projects ahead of us , we @hombalefilms will not be starting #KGF3 anytime soon. We will let you know with a bang when we start the work towards it.”

Recently, speaking to Dainik Bhaskar, Vijay had said, “Director Prashant Neel is currently busy with Salaar. Around 30-35% of the shooting is done. The next schedule is slated to begin next week. We hope to complete it by October-November this year. So, we plan to begin the shoot for KGF after October this year. We hope to release the film by 2024.”

“Going forward, we are going to create a Marvel kind of universe. We want to bring different characters from different movies and create something like Doctor Strange. The way it happened in Spider Man Home Coming or Doctor Strange. So that we can reach a wider audience easily,” he said.

KGF: Chapter 2 also stars Srinidhi Shetty, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Anant Nag, and Prakash Raj.

The Mahesh Babu starrer Sarkaru Vaari Paata released this week in the overseas markets. After much promotion the film opened on a good note.

In the overseas market of the USA, the film managed to collect USD 1,614,807 [Rs. 12.47 cr.] at the close of Saturday. Going by the current trend, expectations are that the business of the film will continue to see growth over the weekend

In a black and white photo, Shabana Azmi was standing next Smita Patil and filmmaker Shyam Benegal. “At Cannes for #Nishant 1976. We had no publicity material and no money so #Shyam Benegal asked #Smita Patil and me to wear our best saris and walk up and down the promenade to attract attention . And when people turned around to stare at these strange looking exotic creatures we would persuasively plead “ Our film is showing on so and so date pls come to watch it “ and we managed a full house ! lThat was the advertising acumen of #Shyam Benegal,” she wrote on Instagram.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Shabana Azmi will next star in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The film is helmed by Karan Johar and stars Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Jaya Bachchan and Dharmendra. It is set to release in February 2023.

Television actor Helly Shah makes her Cannes debut for the poster launch of her debut film Kaya Palat on 21st May. The actor will also walk the red carpet for L’Oréal Paris at Cannes film festival. Helly will be seen gracing her presence and will be in the element while walking the red carpet.

The actor will visit Cannes for the poster launch of her feature film Kaya Palat which is a dark thriller genre. The film is directed by Shoaib Nikash Shah.

The film is co-written by Rahat Kazmi and Shoib Nikash Shah with Rahat Kazmi and Tariq Khan playing leads opposite Helly Shah in the gritty thriller. The film is produced by Rahat Kazmi Film Studios.

DID L’il Masters: Goldie Behl makes rare appearance to suprise Sonali Bendre; do a romantic performance on ‘Aankhon Me Base Ho Tum’

This Saturday as well, viewers were in for a treat as the contestants put up some delightful acts during the shaadi-special episode with Goldie Behl and Lizelle D’Souza as the guests.

While all the performances by the young kids impressed the judges during the shoot, it was the dance performance by Goldie Behl and Sonali Bendre Behl to ‘Aankhon Me Base Ho Tum’ that won everyone’s hearts. During his rare appearance on the show, Goldie Behl delivered a romantic performance and set the stage on fire. In fact, they looked extremely adorable as they danced together, and after their endearing performance, Goldie also went on to reveal some never-heard-before details of their love story.

As Goldie Behl mentioned during the DID L’il Masters season 5 shoot, “Our marriage will complete 20 years in November this year and I am really very excited about it. I truly believe that it is fantastic to marry a friend and to turn friendship into love and spend our whole lives together. I consider myself blessed and grateful to have Sonali in my life. In fact, I still remember, when I first saw Sonali on the sets of her first film, I was blown away. I had gone on the set to discuss a few things during the lunch hour, but after watching her, I felt so nice that I can’t explain it. I even tried to flirt with her, but she ignored me. One fine day, I went to her house to approach her for Angaare, and I was surprised to see her whole family hosting me with yummy food and great hospitality. That’s when I decided to tweak my approach, and fortunately, during the film, we became friends and that blossomed into love and eventually, marriage. Everything was seamless.”

Bollywood actors Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, who will be seen in Brahmastra together, celebrated their one-month wedding anniversary on Saturday with dinner date. The couple was seen stepping out in style for dinner at Karan Johar’s new restaurant.

While Alia Bhatt wore a summer blue floral dress for the dinner date, Ranbir was seen stepping out in a black shirt and jeans. They walked together but did not pose for the cameras.

Earlier in the day, Alia had taken to social media to share some unseen pictures from the wedding festivities.

On the work front, Alia Bhatt has been busy with the shoot for Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani starring Ranveer Singh. The film is directed by Karan Johar and is scheduled for February 2023 release. Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor will next star in Luv Ranjan and Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s next.

The two stars will be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra releasing on September 9, 2022.
