Sidharth Malhotra gets injured shooting Indian Police Force in Goa – “Rohit Shetty’s action hero equals to real sweat, real blood”

Sidharth Malhotra and filmmaker Rohit Shetty have begun the shoot for Amazon Prime Video series, Indian Police Force. As the actor enters the digital world, the series is set to be action packed which is currently being shot in Goa. A  glimpse from the shoot was shared by actor on social media.

In a video shared on Sunday, Sidharth is seen performing a fight sequence which is being captured by Rohit Shetty on a moving camera. The actor also shared a selfie with the director showing the injuries on his elbow and arm. “@itsrohitshetty action hero equals to real sweat, real blood ! Rohit sir working the camera for some crazy action sequences in Goa,” he captioned the post.

The series will debut on Amazon Prime Video and it will have an eight-episode arc. The series will be jointly directed by Rohit Shetty and his Chief Assistant Director Sushwanth Prakash. It also stars Shilpa Shetty and Vivek Oberoi.

Meanwhile, Rohit Shetty is set to bring Ranveer Singh again in a new avatar in Cirkus. On the other hand, Sidharth Malhotra will next star in Thank God and Yodha.

Ira Khan shares more bikini photos from her birthday bash – “If everyone is done hating and trolling”

Over a week ago, Aamir Khan and ex-wife Reena Dutta’s daughter Ira Khan celebrated her birthday with her family and boyfriend Nupur Shikhare. Ira, who turned 25, was seen enjoying her day with poolside party. Her boyfriend Nupur Shikhare, Aamir’s second ex-wife Kiran Rao, actress Fatima Sana Khaikh and Iran’s friends were also in attendance. But, upon sharing her pictures, Ira was trolled for wearing bikini, body shamed and more. But, responding to the same, she chose to ignore those by posting more photos.

Ira Khan on Sunday took to her Instagram account to share more pictures from the birthday celebrations. She shared polaroid pictures from May 8 and captioned the post, “If everyone is done hating and trolling my last birthday photo dump… here are some more!”

Viacom18 Studios teams up with Taapsee Pannu’s production house for Dhak Dhak starring Fatima Sana Shaikh, Ratna Pathak Shah, Sanjana Sanghi and Dia Mirza

Viacom18 Studios and Outsiders Films Productions in association with BLM Pictures announces its new film Dhak Dhak. The studio behind powerful narratives and strong women characters from Kahaani, Queen, Mary Kom to Padmaavat has now joined hands with Outsiders Films house to bring to you a fascinating story of four women and their life changing journey to the highest motorable pass in the world.

Commenting on the association, Ajit Andhare, COO, Viacom18 Studios says, “Dhak Dhak is a heart-warming story of four women undertaking a trip breaking out of their cocoons & discovering themselves through this journey of introspection & adventure. This was the perfect script and resonates well with the DNA of our storytelling.”

The film stars Fatima Sana Shaikh, Ratna Pathak Shah, Dia Mirza and Sanjana Sanghi as protagonists. Dhak Dhak, is co-produced by Taapsee Pannu, Pranjal Khandhdiya and Ayush Maheshwari. The film is co-written by Parijat Joshi and Tarun Dudeja & directed by Tarun Dudeja.

We have attempted to give audiences a visual experience that they have rarely seen on screen. Dhak Dhak narrates the story of four women who realise that freedom has to be owned and never given. The film is now under production and will hit cinema screens in 2023.

Jayeshbhai Jordaar Box Office Estimate Day 3: Stays flat; collects Rs. 4.05 cr. on Sunday

The Ranveer Singh starrer Jayeshbhai Jordaar has recorded a flat trend at the box office on Sunday. According to estimates, it has collected in the range of Rs. 3.95 to 4.15 crores on the third day to take opening weekend total to Rs. 11.30 crores.

The movie has showed a flat trend through the weekend, and there also lies a strong chance of drop in collections on Sunday as compared to Friday, as it saw night shows getting cancelled at several properties. This is a clear sign of rejection from the audience.

Jayeshbhai Jordaar is headed towards a lifetime total of Rs. 17 to 19 crore, which spells nothing but Disaster. This would be the second disaster for Ranveer after Christmas release, 83‘. While the producers are in the black due to satellite and digital deals, the theatrical outcome will be worse than other disasters like Jersey, Attack, Runway 34, Heropanti 2, Bell Bottom and just marginally above Satyameva Jayate 2.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 Advance Booking Report: Kartik Aaryan starrer expected to open around Rs. 10 cr. on Day 1

The soon to release Kartik Aaryan starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has been making headlines for the past few weeks. In the run up to its release on Friday next week, the makers are leaving no stone unturned to ensure its success at the box office. Looking at the past few weeks with releases underperforming at the box office, expectations of the Kartik starrer are at an all-time high. But will the film entice the audience or will it like releases from the previous weeks flounder at the box office.

Reports of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’s advance bookings that are coming are paint a rather optimistic picture. As per reports, the film has garnered a favourable advance booking in major markets like Maharashtra, Delhi, and Gujarat. In fact, going by the advance booking rate the film could see its opening day business record double digits with over Rs. 10 cr. coming in on Day 1. Besides this, the advance booking for Day 1 looks likely in the range of Rs. 4 to 4.5 cr. by the time the movie releases.

The film producers (T-Series and Cine1 Studios) have decided to open the bookings at regular minimal- basic prices and premium rates. The ticket prices for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 will witness the lowest rate for any movie post-pandemic. Sources close to the film say that the makers have kept the audiences first before thinking about making profits on the film. The makers are confident and believe in the film and want more audiences to come to the cinema and enjoy this family film.

Currently, with trade estimates indicating a good response to the film in both mass dominated single screen sectors and multiplex dominated metros, the Kartik Aaryan starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 could break the dry spell Bollywood releases have had over the past few weeks.

Kartik Gowda debunks rumours on KGF Chapter 3, says ‘won’t be starting anytime soon’

Yash starrer KGF Chapter 2 has seen earth shattering collections at the box office. In the post credits scene, it was shown that the film will have a third installment. For weeks, speculations are rife that the work on KGF: Chapter 3 has begun. Producer Vijay Kiragandur also gave a timeline as well that they hoped the film would begin later this year.

However, now Executive Producer Karthik Gowda’s tweet has debunked the rumours. On Saturday night, Kartik wrote on Twitter, “The news doing the rounds are all speculation. With a lot of exciting projects ahead of us , we @hombalefilms will not be starting #KGF3 anytime soon. We will let you know with a bang when we start the work towards it.”

Recently, speaking to Dainik Bhaskar, Vijay had said, “Director Prashant Neel is currently busy with Salaar. Around 30-35% of the shooting is done. The next schedule is slated to begin next week. We hope to complete it by October-November this year. So, we plan to begin the shoot for KGF after October this year. We hope to release the film by 2024.”

“Going forward, we are going to create a Marvel kind of universe. We want to bring different characters from different movies and create something like Doctor Strange. The way it happened in Spider Man Home Coming or Doctor Strange. So that we can reach a wider audience easily,” he said.

KGF: Chapter 2 also stars Srinidhi Shetty, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Anant Nag, and Prakash Raj.
