16 Years Of Fanaa EXCLUSIVE: Kunal Kohli reveals the HILARIOUS incident when Aamir Khan had asked him for 10 days off so that he could marry Kiran Rao; Aamir had told Kunal not to tell anyone about it, not even producer Aditya Chopra
In July 2021, Aamir Khan made headlines after announcing his divorce with Kiran Rao. The news sent shockwaves as both seemed like an ideal couple. Both tied the knot back in December 28, 2005, in Panchgani and though it was a low-key affair, it was widely reported by the media. Interestingly, Aamir was shooting for Fanaa at that time. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama to celebrate the 16th anniversary of this film, Kunal Kohli revealed a hilarious anecdote that was unknown to everybody till now.
Kunal Kohli said, “This was a funny chapter in the making of Fanaa. The shoot was held between October 2005 to March 2006. While preparing the scheduling in May or June 2005, Aamir requested me to give him ten days off from December 23, 2005, to January 3, 2006. When I asked for the reason, he said he was getting married to Kiran Rao. I congratulated him but he told me ‘Lekin yeh baat tu kisi ko bata nahi sakta’. However, I argued that I need to inform Aditya Chopra, our producer. He stopped me from doing so as according to him, ‘baat aise hi fail jaati hai’. He requested that except for these ten days, he can shoot with me whenever I want and wherever I want.”
Kunal Kohli continued, “When Adi (Aditya Chopra) saw the schedule, he obviously asked me why there’s a ten-day gap! He asked me whether I am taking an off to celebrate Christmas or New Year’s Eve. I replied in the negative. He then asked if Kajol or Aamir wanted to go on a holiday during these ten days. I again said ‘No’ and reasoned that I need time off during this period. He was like, ‘Kya bakwaas kar raha hai! Tu shoot karega inn 10 dinon mein’! So, it was difficult for me to convince him.”
Kunal Kohli managed to persuade Aditya Chopra. He then said, “It was only in October or November 2005 that Aamir announced his wedding. This is when Adi realized why I was hell bent on having a ten-day off. He told me, ‘Tune mujhe bola kyun nahi?’ I had to explain to him that Aamir had asked me not to reveal it to anyone else!”

For glam selections, Shilpa applied dramatic black eyeliner, sharp contour, neutral brown lip tint, flawless brows, dazzling highlighter and luminous skin. She styled her tresses open, in loose waves that made her look stunning

Jerry Seinfeld has roped in an A-list ensemble for his directorial Unfrosted: The Pop-Tart Story, set at Netflix. It is a film about the creation of the breakfast treat. Melissa McCarthy, Jim Gaffigan, Amy Schumer, Hugh Grant, James Marsden, Jack McBrayer, Tom Lennon, Adrian Martinez, Bobby Moynihan, Max Greenfield, Christian Slater, Sarah Cooper have joined the cast of the Netflix comedy feature.
Set in Michigan, 1963, the logline reads, “Kellogg’s and Post, sworn cereal rivals, race to create a pastry that will change the face of breakfast forever. A tale of ambition, betrayal, sugar, and menacing milkmen, Unfrosted stars writer/director Jerry Seinfeld.”
Helmed by Jerry Seinfeld, the film will be produced by Jerry Seinfeld, Spike Feresten, Beau Bauman with Jerry on board to write along with Spike Feresten, Andy Robin & Barry Marder. The production is expected to begin sometime in 2022.

Ayan Mukerji’s ambitious Brahmastra just got bigger. This writer finally confirms what netizens have been whispering amongst themselves ever since the trailer went viral. Was that Shah Rukh Khan they spotted in the trailer?
Finally, it can be confirmed that Shah Rukh Khan indeed has a cameo in the film. While I have been requested to not reveal details of SRK’s part, I can say this much: SRK comes at a crucial point in the film. It is a brief but very powerful cameo.
This is not the first time that Shah Rukh will be seen in a cameo part in Karan Johar production with Ranbir Kapoor. SRK also had a cameo in Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil where he shared screen space with Ranbir and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
That is not all. Deepika Padukone who recently got a lot of critical acclaim for her part as a very confused woman in the Karan Johar production of Gehraiyaan will be seen playing a cameo role in Brahmastra where she will share screen space with Ranbir Kapoor for the first time since Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, Ayan mukerji’s last directorial in 2013.

Academy Award-winning actor Nicole Kidman, Zac Efron, Joey King are all set to come together for a Netflix romantic comedy. The announcement was made on Tuesday.
The logline reads, “A surprising romance kicks off comic consequences for a young woman, her mother and her movie star boss as they face the complications of love, sex, and identity.”
Produced by Joe Roth, Jeff Kirschenbaum and Alyssa Altman for Roth/Kirschenbaum Films, it is written by Carrie Solomon and Richard LaGravenese. Richard LaGravenese, who has directed Behind The Candelabra, PS I Love You, The Last Five Years, Freedom Writers, is on board to direct the project.

Netflix confirmed the back-to-back production of Sweet Home seasons 2 and 3, with an expanded storyline and cast. Beloved stars Song Kang and Lee Jin Wook will return, along with the original cast of Lee Si Young, Go Min Si and Park Gyu Young. They will reunite with hit director Lee Eung Bok to tell the unfinished story of the survivors of Green Home. Newly confirmed cast members Yoo Oh Seong, Oh Jung Se, Kim Moo Yeol and Jung Jin Young round up the ensemble.
“Season 2 will include a new setting, and the technical details that we couldn’t refine in Season 1 will be further honed in Season 2,” said the director, hinting at a wider franchise universe and even more stunning visuals.
When Season 1 landed on Netflix in 2020, its terrifying monsters and clever storytelling set a new benchmark in the creature feature genre, winning rave reviews from fans. The series went on to win international awards such as the 2021 Asian Academy Creative Awards (AACA) and the 3rd Asia Contents Awards.
Adapted by Kim Carnby, Hwang Young Chan (Naver Webtoon), the series is directed by Lee Eung Bok and produced by Studio Dragon, Studio N.
