Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja are currently in London gearing up for parenthood. Not too long ago, Sonam’s friends and sister Rhea Kapoor even hosted a baby shower for the Kapoor girl who included some dance, music, and a yummylicious customized menu. Followed by that, the couple now hosted a lunch get-together with their family when the actress’ paternal uncle Sanjay Kapoor, Maheep Kapoor, and family visited their Notting Hill residence.

Sharing glimpses of the lovely modern yet Victorian style Notting Hill home, Maheep Kapoor took to Instagram to post a series of photos of their afternoon get-together. Needless to say, she also expressed her happiness over her niece’s pregnancy by dropping heart emojis. She shared these photos saying, “Afternoon with my beautiful niece, baby bump ???? & Anand #everydayphenomenal #Family ”

It seems that a lot of Bollywood celebrities are currently taking off to England. Besides the couple and this Kapoor family, yet another Kapoor family has headed to London too. Celebrities like Kareena Kapoor Khan and family, Gauri Khan, Twinkle Khanna, Ranveer Singh, Karan Johar, Sara Ali Khan, Shilpa Shetty among others are currently vacationing in the England capital, making it one of the hotspots for holiday currently.

While Sonam Kapoor tied the knot with longtime boyfriend Anand Ahuja in May 2018, in March this year, the couple announced that they are expecting their first child. The couple had mentioned on their Instagram post that Sonam will be delivering this fall, which is approximately in August–September.

After Salman Khan, Swara Bhasker files an FIR after receiving a death threat; Mumbai Police begin probe

Bollywood actress Swara Bhasker has filed an FIR after she received a death threat at her Mumbai residence. The letter was sent to her house in Versova. After her complaint, Mumbai Police have begun the probe.

The letter was written in Hindi which says that the youth of India won’t tolerate insults against Veer Savarkar. She posted a photo of the letter on her Instagram and wrote in Hindi, “देश के नौजवान तो ख़ैर सड़कों पर नौकरी की माँग कर रहे हैं.. पर एक प्रजाति महंगाई, बेरोज़गारी, भुखमरी सब सहेगी.. बस ऐतिहासिक सच और तथ्य नहीं सहेगी! इतना रोश – पर नम्बर रेवारी में बैठे किसी चाचा का डाला है भाई ने!”

According to PTI, an official said, “Based on the complaint, we have registered a non-cognizable offense against unidentified persons.”

Ranveer Singh heads out of India for his birthday; will meet Deepika Padukone in US

Ranveer Singh is set to celebrate his birthday in the US. A few days ago, he posted an image cheekily captioning it saying, “Waiting for my wife to comment.” To this, Deepika replied saying, “Come to me soonest!“ and it seems like Ranveer has taken a flight to head out of India to meet his beloved!

Ranveer has headed out of India to celebrate his birthday and he will be heading to meet Deepika, who is currently in the US. Sources say Ranveer might be celebrating his special day in Hawaii with Deepika.

On the work front, Deepika Padukone is currently shooting for Fighter with Hrithik Roshan. Ranveer, meanwhile, will be seen in Cirkus releasing in December 2022, and Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani in 2023.

Oscars 2023: Suriya, Kajol, Reema Kagti, Billie Eilish, Anya Taylor-Joy among 397 members invited by The Academy

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is extending invitations to 397 distinguished artists and executives to join the organization in 2022. Membership selection is based on professional qualifications, with an ongoing commitment to representation, inclusion, and equity. This year’s class of invitees includes 71 Oscar nominees, including 15 winners.

From India, Suriya and Kajol are among the 397 people that have been invited to become members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Director-writer Reema Kagti, producer Aditya Sood and documentary filmmakers Sushmit Ghosh and Rintu Thomas are also included in the list. International stars including Anya Taylor-Joy, Billie Eilish, Jamie Dornan, Dana Walden, and Leonard Maltin have been invited as well among others. According to Variety, “The 2022 class is 44% women, 37% belong to underrepresented ethnic/racial communities, and 50% are from 53 countries and territories outside the United States.”

A selection of this year’s invitees includes Michael Greyeyes (Wild Indian) to the Actors branch, Elodie Demey (Summer of 85) to Casting Directors, Martin Ruhe (The Tender Bar) to Cinematographers, Paul Tazewell (West Side Story) to Costume Designers, Andrew Ahn (Fire Island) to Directors, and Rintu Thomas and Sushmit Ghosh (Writing With Fire) to Documentary.

Alia Bhatt looks radiant in first photo after announcing pregnancy; poses with Karan Johar & Manish Malhotra

By now, readers would be aware that sisters-in-law Kareena Kapoor Khan and Alia Bhatt in London. While Kareena has been spending some time off from her work and enjoying with Saif Ali Khan and her kids, Alia Bhatt is busy with the shoot of her Hollywood debut Heart of Stone. However, the latter is currently in news after she announced her pregnancy. It seems that her mentor Karan Johar, who was thrilled to hear the news, couldn’t wait any longer and took off to London to meet Alia. On the other hand, designer Manish Malhotra, who is in the England capital for work, decided to catch up with the duo as well as Kareena.

Just earlier today, we had reported that Kareena Kapoor Khan met up with her friends in London, from Kunal Nayyar to Manish Malhotra. The fashion designer took to Instagram to share a photo with Kareena and later also shared another photo featuring the mom-to-be Alia Bhatt and Karan Johar. Interestingly, this is the first photo of Alia after she announced her pregnancy on Instagram. Needless to say, the glowing mother is looking forward for a new phase of her life.

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, who tied the knot on April 14, shared the arrival of their baby followed by which everyone including Karan Johar had expressed their happiness, saying, “To me, Alia is equal to my twins Roohi and Yash. The twins know Alia as their elder sister. Now they know that there is going to be an addition in the family,” says Karan.”

After announcing their pregnancy, wishes started pouring in for the mother-to-be. She, earlier, took to Instagram, to thank her fans, family and well-wishers saying, “Overwhelmed with all the love! Have tried to read everyone’s messages and good wishes and all I want to say is, it truly feels so special to celebrate such a big moment in our lives with all your love and blessings! Thank you to every single one of you.”
