MX Player is set to bring another gripping, path-breaking web series for its audiences titled, Dharavi Bank. The dangerous and intriguing narrative set in perhaps the most complex and densely populated area on planet Earth, Dharavi, along with the charismatic star cast has created curious anticipation amongst their fan clubs.

Directed by Samit Kakkad, audiences will witness power-packed performances by Suniel Shetty, Vivek Oberoi, and Sonali Kulkarni in the lead roles. The series has been shot extensively in various locations of one of the world’s largest slums, Dharavi.

Taapsee Pannu is beauty personified in powder blue saree and embellished blouse worth Rs. 59,900 for Shabaash Mithu promotions

With her performance in Shabaash Mithu, Taapsee Pannu is ready to mesmerize audiences once more. This sports drama is based on Mithali Raj, the captain of the Indian Women’s National Cricket Team, and her achievements. The promotions have begun, and Taapsee is undoubtedly turning heads with her stylish appearance.

Anyone who follows her on social media can witness to the fact that she adores sarees. She frequently wears sarees and makes statements while doing so. Sarees possess a unique grace and poise. Ajay Devgn’s daughter Nysa Devgn opts for white top and mini skirt as she holidays in Spain with friends

Nysa Devgn, Ajay and Kajol’s daughter, has been making headlines since she walked the runway for ace designer Manish Malhotra. She has always been spending time with her friends, abroad. Her friend Orhan Awatramani recently uploaded numerous photographs on his Instagram account in which she can be seen exploring Spain with her companions.

Nysa appears in one of the photographs from Casa Batllo, a building in Barcelona, Spain, wearing a white top with dramatic sleeves and a beige skirt. She has her hair loose and is conversing with her buddies. In another photo, she is enthusiastically posing for the camera while wrapping her arms around her friend.

Nysa Devgn’s friend Orhan captioned the image, “in Spain w/o the S.” Nysa soon commented on the pictures and mentioned that she is broke!

Nysa Devgn was previously in Amsterdam, where she met actress Janhvi Kapoor. The Bawaal plactress had posted a series of photos to her Instagram account. Janhvi, Nysa, and her pals can be seen dining in one of the photos.

Kangana Ranaut appears before Mumbai court in Javed Akhtar defamation case; claims the lyricist threatened her after she refused to apologise to Hrithik Roshan

Veteran lyricist and writer Javed Akhtar had filed a defamation case against Kangana Ranaut in 2020 at a Mumbai court. Recently, the actress appeared before a Mumbai court along with her sister and witness Rangoli Chandel. The actress also claimed that Akhtar had threatened and insulted her after she refused to apologise to actor Hrithik Roshan.

According to India Today, Kangana Ranaut told the court that Akhtar had stated, “We will not take time to put up impostors, then it will be open to the public to know that your affair was not with Hrithik but with impostors, then your face will be blackened, there will be so much infamy in the public that you will have no other way except suicide. We have evidence, they have all the ministries, apologize and save yourself. A girl from a good family will drown in shame. If you have little shame to save your honor, then don’t insist.” Kangana also alleged that Javed Akhtar had provoked her to commit suicide and caused her mental stress.

Javed Akhtar filed the case in 2020 following Kangana Ranaut’s alleged ‘defamatory and baseless comments’ against him during a television interview. The court ordered the Juhu police to conduct an inquiry into Akhtar’s complaint, and subsequently, an offence of defamation was prima facie made out and the court initiated criminal proceedings against the actress. Kangana Ranaut has filed a counter defamation case against lyricist Javed Akhtar.

Sushant Singh Rajput death: Flatmate Siddharth Pithani granted bail in drugs case

Siddharth Pithani, the former flatmate of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, was granted bail in the drugs case on Tuesday, July 5. He was granted bail on a bond of Rs. 50,000 by a single bench of Justice Bharati Dangre at Bombay High Court.

As per previous reports, Siddharth Pithani was arrested by Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in May 2021 from Hyderabad. He was booked under section 27 (A) (financing illicit traffic and harboring offenders) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, among other charges. He had sought bail claiming that he was arrested under false case.

Sushant Singh Rajput passed away in June 2020. His former girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and her brother were also arrested in the same alleged drug case. Both of them are out on bail.

Karan Johar donates Rs. 11 lakh for Assam floods relief; CM Himanta Biswa confirms Arjun Kapoor, and Rohit Shetty donated Rs. 5 lakh each

Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor and filmmakers Karan Johar and Rohit Shetty recently extended help towards the CM Relief Fund of Assam. Currently, the state of Assam is going through one of the biggest crises this year due to devastating floods.

CM Himanta Biswa Sarma thanked Karan Johar and Dharma Productions for the help amid the crisis. “Grateful to film producer @karanjohar and Dharma productions for contributing Rs. 11 lakh to CM Relief Fund”, he wrote.

Meanwhile, Karan Johar is returning with his popular chat show Koffee With Karan season 7. It will stream on Disney+ Hotstar from July 7. He is also directing Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The film stars Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, and Jaya Bachchan. On the other hand, Rohit Shetty is currently filming Khatron Ke Khiladi 12. He has directed Cirkus starring Ranveer Singh.

Allu Aravind acquires Telugu rights for Aamir Khan and Naga Chaitanya starrer Laal Singh Chaddha

Laal Singh Chaddha starring Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor, and Naga Chaitanya is one of the anticipated films of the year. Five years down the line, Khan is excited to return to the theatres with his Indian adaptation of Tom Hanks starrer Forrest Gump. Now, it has been learnt that Allu Aravind acquires Telugu rights for Laal Singh Chaddha.

The producer reportedly paid a huge amount to acquire the rights. The film will be released in Telugu states under the Geetha Arts banner. The producer had earlier worked with Aamir Khan on Ghajini.

Laal Singh Chaddha, produced by Aamir Khan Productions, Kiran Rao, and Viacom18 Studios, also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Mona Singh, and Naga Chaitanya.
