Allu Arjun hikes is fee for Pushpa 2?

Allu Arjun’s success after the release of Pushpa has been phenomenal. The actor broke box office records after his unforgettable performance in the movie. However, as the sequel of the film is now in the making, the actor seems to have hiked up his fee. His fees for Pushpa: The Rise was  around reportedly around Rs. 45 crore, but the Telugu superstar Allu Arjun has hiked  his fee to  nearly double that  amount for  the sequel.

And not only Arjun, Pushpa director Sukumar may also have hiked his fees considerably  for the sequel.

A  source from Hyderabad  confirms, “Arjun’s fee for the Pushpa sequel  is around Rs. 85 crores which is a new record  in the Telugu film industry.”

While how much the director Sukumar is being paid is unclear as of yet, it will be a lot more than what he  got  for Pushpa The Rise

A  source close to Allu Arjun’s family  tells me, “Arjun’s  equation with the box office has changed after Pushpa. Though Pushpa The Rise may not have been as much of a grand hit in Andhra and Telangana as expected, its pan-India success places him above Prabhas in the all-India market.”

Rocky aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani stars Alia and Ranveer twin at the airport, spotted carrying similar GucciXAdidas duffle bag worth Rs.2 Lakh

Ranbir Kapoor arrived at Mumbai’s international airport anticipating the arrival of wife Alia Bhatt. The actress, who had just finished filming Heart of Stone with Jamie Dornan and Gal Gadot, exited from the gates to a throng of onlookers and paparazzi who had gathered to congratulate the actress on anticipated motherhood. Just a few hours later, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone walked out of the same arrival gates hand-in-hand after having spent a few days away from packed schedules to ring in Ranveer’s 37th birthday.

Apart from their sweet PDA, their stylish airport looks caught our attention. As usual, Alia’s airport style was impeccable. She was dressed in cosy black pants and a white vest. She added an oversized white shirt to finish the look. A chic white handbag and white sneakers served as her accessories. Ranveer was at his quirky best when he and Deepika next arrived, clad head to toe in Gucci X Adidas and sporting a pair of scarlet trousers and a brown sweater. Additionally, he wore a yellow hat and was carrying a white handbag.

Both stars looked elegant when photographed at the airport. Surprisingly, the actors from Rocky aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, Alia and Ranveer, were even twinning with their travel bags. Ranveer Singh was photographed at the airport with his Adidas X Gucci mini duffle bag, which Alia Bhatt was also seen carrying on her return to the city. The Gucci Adidas and Trefoil design is featured on the bag. It had the official Gucci logo colours of green and red on the handle. Furthermore, the duffle bag is expensive. The white duffel bag is priced at € 2,200. When the value is converted to INR, Alia and Ranveer’s bag costs around Rs 1,77,500.

Work-wise, Ranveer and Alia will be seen together in the movie Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, directed by Karan Johar. The duo will be seen together for the second time on the big screen, after the movie Gully Boy.

Artist mimics Alia Bhatt from Koffee With Karan; fans say ‘nailed it’

It seems the episode of Koffee With Karan 7 featuring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh seems to have taken the social media by storm. From memes to reels, snippets from the episode featuring the Rocky Rani couple have been going viral. From them is the latest ‘genius of the year’ moment of Alia where she describes host Karan’s marriage during a game session that left Karan Johar himself as well as Ranveer Singh in splits. A mimicry artist, who goes by the name of Chandni, decided to feature Alia’s epic dialogue from the show and needless to say, fans are going gaga over it.

Chandni took to Instagram to share a video of her mimicking Alia Bhatt from a certain segment from the Koffee With Karan 7 episode. Viewers would be aware that when Alia Bhatt was asked to describe her marriage in the final game segment of the show, she misunderstands it to be Karan Johar’s marriage and kicks off her speech. Needless to say, misinterpretation left everyone in splits with Ranveer Singh referring to her as ‘genius of the year’. Here, have a look at the mimic artist performing the scene from the episode.

With fans dropping ‘perfect’ and ‘nailed it’ comments on the video, it has gone to receive over 9000 likes.

On the other hand, the statement ‘genius of the year’ in itself is a reference made to the title of a video that created by AIB featuring Alia Bhatt. It was created as a response to the several trolls that targeted the then debutante after yet another foot-in-the-mouth situation on Koffee With Karan.

Speaking of professional commitments, Alia Bhatt, who recently completed the shoot schedule of her Hollywood debut Heart of Stone, has returned to Mumbai as she reunited with hubby Ranbir Kapoor. The actress also announced her pregnancy recently with her Brahmastra co-star as the couple is gearing up to welcome their first child.

First Look: Suriya 41 gets its title as Vanangaan; Makers announce it on director Bala’s birthday

As fans eagerly awaited the title and first look of Suriya 41, they were in for a treat when the makers took to social media to share it’s details last evening. In a post shared by the actor and the team, they not only revealed the first look of the film but also posted the title for the Tamil and Telugu film as Vanangaan and Achaludu. Besides that, the first look too was shared along with birthday wishes for the director Bala.

Director Bala, who turned a year older just a day ago, will be joining hands with Suriya for his next. As a part of the birthday wish, Suriya took to Instagram to give a name to his forthcoming film Suriya 41 and announced it along with a series of first look posters in different languages. The actor posted in Tamil saying (Transl.), “Happy to be reunited with you… Wish you a very Happy Birthday brother… #DirBala #Vanangaan #Vanangaan #Achaludu. Deepika Padukone gives shout out to South Indian restaurant in Delhi; says, “We had the most scrumptious south Indian breakfast”

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are by far one of the most popular Bollywood couples. From sharing posts about their lives to film shoots to vacations, and of course their food, the two regularly connect with their fans on social media. Continuing with the same, Deepika Padukone recently gave a shout-out to a South Indian restaurant in Delhi for their scrumptious food.

Sharing an appreciation post on her Instagram stories, Deepika posted an image of the menu saying, “This is an appreciation post. My husband and I had the most scrumptious south Indian breakfast at @carnaticcafeindia at terminal 3 in Delhi this morning. What made it even more special was the courteous and efficient staff. Do yourselves a favour and go check it out.”

Though Deepika follows a rather strict regime when it comes to her diet, on cheat days the self-proclaimed foodie can always be seen digging into some mouth-watering delicacies. In fact, just a few days back, Deepika shared a drool-worthy picture of a multi-layered chocolate cake. Posting the image she added, “iykyk” an abbreviation for “if you know you know”.

Back on the work front, Deepika has three major projects with the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan, followed by Prabhas – Amitabh Bachchan starrer Project K, and then the Hrithik Roshan starrer Fighter.

Interestingly, the couple that tied the knot on July 7 completed seven years of wedded bliss recently and were snapped at Sanah Kapoor’s wedding celebrations. Also in attendance was Shahid’s father Pankaj Kapur.

Sharing unseen pictures from Sanah’s wedding of Shahid, Mira their kids, and Pankaj, the official Instagram handle of The Wedding Story posted unseen images from Sanah’s wedding. The images see Shahid dressed in a black sherwani, with son Zain twining with him. On the other hand, Mira Rajput opted for a white saree, while their daughter Misha looked adorable in a lehenga.
