Vijay Sethupathi and Nithya Menen question Freedom of Speech and Expression in 19 1(A)

About a month ago, the makers released the first look poster of 19 1(A) featuring Nithya Menen and Vijay Sethupathi. Readers would be aware that this is Vijay’s first Malayalam film. His last film, Vikram went on to make box office records and now with this one they will be tackling the concept of Freedom of Speech and Expression.

A day ago the makers of the film released the teaser of the film on social media which only gives a glimpse of the film without divulging many details about it. In our earlier report, we had mentioned that the film has been named 19 1(A) based on the section of our Indian Constitution which talks about freedom of speech and expression. The teaser features Nithya Menen as a writer whereas Vijay Sethupathi seems to be encourage her in following the path of writing. While she is constantly questioned about her skills as a writer through the teaser, Vijay is seen discussing professional writing and the difference between fiction and non-fiction. Followed by the video, many fans of Vijay Sethupathi went on to wish him luck and many of them also expressed their desire to watch the film. Some of them even dropped heart eyed and heart emojis showcasing their love for the teaser.

Speaking about 19 1(A), the film will be directed by debutant Indhu VS and will release on Disney Plus Hotstar. It is produced by Anto Joseph under his company Anto Joseph Film Company and Aan Mega Media.

EXCLUSIVE: Arjun Kapoor says he is ‘fond’ of food but not blessed when it comes to fitness: ‘Khaane ke bina life thodi boring jo jati hai’

Arjun Kapoor and Tara Sutaria, who are gearing up for their upcoming thriller outing Ek Villain Returns, revealed their love for food while also making some crazy revelations on eating habits of celebrities like Priyanka Chopra, Ranveer Singh, Varun Dhawan, Anushka Sharma and Disha Patani.

In a recent conversation with Bollywood Hungama, when asked if Disha Patani likes sweets as much as she says, Tara Sutaria said, “She does a cheat day. She does Sundays where she eats sweets.”

Arjun, who has undergone physical transformation over the past year and continues to work out in order to stay fit, then adds, “She has been into the whole fitness routine for a very long time so if you can work out then you can eat what you want, I guess. Some people are lucky and blessed, maybe I am not one of those who is as blessed. I am very fond of food but I am not as blessed. She [Tara] is very blessed; she is not somebody who has to worry so much. But yaar khaane ke bina life thodi boring ho jati hai.”

Ek Villain Returns stars John Abraham, Disha Patani, Arjun Kapoor and Tara Sutaria. The film, helmed by Mohit Suri, releases on July 29, 2022.

Mrunal Thakur shines bright in blue anarkali suit as she promotes Sita Ramam with Dulquer Salman in Hyderabad

In the upcoming movie Sita Ramam, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur will share screen space as leads. Now that a new song from the movie ‘Kaanunna Kalyanam’ has released, the producers are doing everything in their power to promote their movie as the release date of September 5 draws closer. In Hyderabad last night, the leads Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur were spotted promoting their anticipated film. While the Dulquer looked all dapper in a brown silk shirt with matching pants, his co-star looked stunning in a light blue ethnic dress.

The Super 30 actress Mrunal Thakur is quickly establishing herself as a talented performer in Bollywood, and she is now preparing to make her debut in the South. In her beautiful Anarkali outfit, Mrunal exuded elegance. The ensemble had full sleeves and a low neckline, and it was the ultimate example of tonal dressing. The light blue suit set included a sheer dupatta, churidar pants, and ankle-length Anarkali. Her outfit’s modest white thread floral embroidery work around the borders and all over blended perfectly with her suit, keeping it calm and understated.

With a basic pair of silver jhumkis and a stunning turquoise stone necklace, she maintained a refined and subtle appearance. She chose natural-looking makeup with glossy lips, groomed brows, cheekbones, and a radiant complexion. Her middle-parted hair was left open in delicate waves to complete her elegant appearance.

Meanwhile on the work front, Mrunal was last seen in Jersey opposite Shahid Kapoor. Apart from Sita Raman, Pippa alongside Ishan Khattar and Gumrah opposite Aditya Roy Kapoor are her upcoming projects.

Ranveer Singh to join Vijay Deverakonda, Ananya Panday at the trailer launch of Liger on July 21

The makers Liger (Saala Crossbreed) starring Vijay Deverakonda, Ananya Panday and directed by Puri Jagannadh are all set to release the much awaited trailer on July 21 in a star-studded affair. Since it is one of the most anticipated films of the year, the trailer launch will be a mega-event.

 

As per a report in a media portal, Ranveer Singh is set to grace the trailer launch ceremony of Liger. The Hindi version will be launched in presence of Vijay Deverakonda, Ananya Panday, Puri Jagannadh and Karan Johar in Mumbai. Ahead of the launch, a Telugu version trailer will be launched in Hyderabad in morning on July 21.

In association with Puri connects, the film is being produced jointly by Dharma Productions. Puri Jagannadh, Charmme Kaur, Karan Johar, and Apoorva Mehta together are bankrolling the film on a grand scale. Vishnu Sarma is the cinematographer, while Kecha from Thailand is the stunt director. Being made in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages, the Pan India Movie is scheduled for release in theatres worldwide on 25th August 2022.

Kareena Kapoor Khan denies pregnancy rumours: ‘Saif says he has already contributed way too much to the population’

Kareena Kapoor Khan has clarified on the pregnancy rumours. The actress has been spending time in London with Saif Ali Khan and her two sons Taimur and Jeh. As she has continued to post glimpses from their vacation on social media, she has also addressed the rumours on the internet about her pregnancy.

The actress shared a post on her Instagram stories and said that it was “pasta and wine”. Kareena revealed Saif Ali Khan’s hilarious response saying, “It’s pasta and wine guys…..Calm down… I am NOT pregnant… ufff… Saif said he has already contributed way too much to the population of our country… Enjoy… KKK.”

On the work front, Kareena will next be seen in Laal Singh Chaddha, opposite Aamir Khan. The film is set to be released in theatres on August 11. She also wrapped up the shoot for Sujoy Ghosh’s adaptation of the book, The Devotion of Suspect X before leaving for the vacation.

Meanwhile, Saif Ali Khan also wrapped up the shoot of his film Vikram Vedha, which stars Hrithik Roshan.

Nick Jonas wishes wife Priyanka Chopra on her birthday with this romantic photo; shares photo dump from the celebrations

Power couple Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas rang in the Bollywood actress’ birthday with much fun and fare this year, considering it has been special for them. Readers would be aware that the couple welcomed their first child, a daughter via surrogacy and needless to say, they are busy exploring this new phase of parenthood. Amidst that, they took some time out to let themselves loose and celebrate the special day and Nick even shared a glimpse of it with fans and followers.

The musician-actor took to Instagram to share a photo dump from the celebration which included photos from the cake cutting ceremony, pool time and beach time. The first photo in the series is a romantic one which will definitely be a treat for Nickyanka fans. The couple is seen sharing a passionate kiss on a beach. This photo is followed by another photo featuring PC from what seems to be like a party planned in honor of her birthday. Yet another photo in the series is the one where Nick seems to be holding a banner by the poolside that reads ‘Priyanka! The Jewel of July est. 1982’ and the final photo features the couple enjoying fireworks on the beach.
