Over a month ago, the actress was in talks to star as Harley Quinn in the movie. Now, a day ago, the actress confirmed the news with animated teaser of the sequel along with the new title, Joker: Folie à deux. In English, the phrase “Folie à deux” translates to “shared psychosis,” and refers to a psychiatric syndrome involving delusions being transmitted between two people.
She took to Twitter on Thursday and wrote, “Joker: Folie à Deux 10.04.24.”

According to the Hollywood Reporter, “The details on Gaga’s character are being kept under wraps. Joker is known for his on-off abusive relationship with Harley Quinn, his psychiatrist at the mental institution known as Arkham Asylum who falls in love with him and becomes his sidekick and partner in crime”
The sequel is said to be made as a musical. Phoenix starred in the original film portraying Arthur Fleck, a troubled man who evolves into a folk villain type figure by the end of the story. The film ended up winning two Oscars the year it was released, Best Actor of Phoenix’s performance as the eponymous Clown Prince of Crime, and Best Original Score. In all, Joker received 11 Oscar nominations.
Warner Bros. has set October 4, 2024 as the release date for Joker: Folie à deux.

Musician and producer Benny Blanco recruited big names for his first single off his upcoming third album. The members of the BTS vocal line (Jin, Jimin, V, and Jungkook) have participated in the collaboration.
The music video sees Blanco being an ardent BTS fan who preps an entire day in order to see the group at the concert. From having their merchandise in his room to watching their ‘Dynamite’ music video to dressing up like Jimin, he does it all in this fun-filled music video for ‘Bad Decisions‘.
They began hinting at the collaboration first in July, releasing a string of hilarious videos together. Blanco insisted on joining the group. “No,” the BTS members say immediately but offer a song collaboration instead, “But we can make a song together.” There have been several such videos ahead of the release on August 5.
“I make good music. They make good music,” Snoop said earlier in a statement. “And we end up doing this. This is what it’s always about, bringing our worlds together.”
