Rashmika Mandanna calls Vijay Deverakonda ‘important’ in her life; pens sweet note for friends on Friendship Day: ‘You have a piece of my heart’

Rashmika Mandanna took some time out from her busy schedule to commemorate Friendship Day 2022 with a special post. She penned a sweet note for her close friends and posted several photos which also had Vijay Deverakonda in them. Taking to Instagram on Friendship Day, Rashmika shared pictures with Vijay and several other friends, called them the most important people in her life.

“I am not someone who generally takes friendship day, hug day, chocolate day or Valentine’s Day very seriously, and I am not someone who puts my personal life out a lot… but these people in these photos (some are missing)… It’s a surprise for them too! But I just randomly wanted to say how important these people are in my life… I wouldn’t be the same person without them…” she said.

“Some who I grew up with, some who I work with, some who I am not in touch with very much but they have still managed to make a mark so deep in my heart that they will always and forever be special! So you guys I love you,” she added.

“A notification from you makes me smile… The random calls good or bad make my heart happy… I love you! Thank you for making me the person I am today. You have a piece of my heart…” she concluded the post.

Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda have been friends for a while. The two stars have worked together in movies like Dear Comrade. They have been rumoured to be dating. Recently, Vijay appeared on Koffee With Karan 7 where he said that he is ‘good friends’ with Rashmika. He said, “We have done two films together at a really early stage in my life. She is a darling and I am really fond of her. We are really good friends. We share so much through films, lots of highs and lows. A bond gets created.”

On the work front, Vijay Deverakonda is gearing up for the release of Liger on August 26, 2022. Rashmika Mandanna has Mission Majnu, Goodbye and Animal in her kitty.

Nagarjuna Akkineni reviews Aamir Khan and Naga Chaitanya starrer Laal Singh Chaddha: ‘A film that goes more than surface deep’

Actor Nagarjuna Akkineni has watched Aamir Khan starrer Laal Singh Chaddha which also stars his son Naga Chaitanya. The actor has been showing films to several celebrities in the past few weeks. At a special screening, Nagarjuna was present along with Chiranjeevi, SS Rajamouli and Sukumar.

Nagarjuna tweeted, “Had the privilege of watching Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha. A breath of fresh air! A film that goes more than surface deep. A film that stirs you from within!! Makes you laugh, cry, and ponder!! It comes with a simple message love and innocence conquer all!! Was wonderful to watch Naga Chaitanya grow as an actor. Director Advait Chandan, writer Atul Kulkarni and the team you just lift our spirits up!!”

Laal Singh Chaddha, produced by Aamir Khan Productions, Kiran Rao, and Viacom18 Studios, also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Mona Singh, and Chaitanya Akkineni. It is an official remake of Forrest Gump. The film will be released on 11th August 2022.

Bollywood actor Vijay Varma is winning hearts these days with his performance in his recent release Darlings. Having starred alongside powerhouse performers like Alia Bhatt and Shefali Shah, the actor has won the audience over with his terrifying character of Hamza and is collecting great reviews from critics and netizens alike.

Bollywood actors Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Neetu Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Maniesh Paul and Prajakta Koli were seen together at Karan Johar’s residence on Saturday night to celebrate the success of their recent release, Jugjugg Jeeyo. The cast has now shared several pictures from the celebrations.

At the party, director Raj Mehta, choreographer Farah Khan and Dharma Productions’ Apoorva Mehta were also present. Varun shared several pictures on Instagram and even hinted at a sequel. “Thank u for the love app sab #jugjuggjeeyo ????????. #jugjuggjeeyo2 ????,” he wrote on Instagram.

Shahid Kapoor to headline Hindi remake of Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer Malayalam thriller Mumbai Police

Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor is on the remake bandwagon. The actor had a blockbuster hit with Kabir Singh which was Hindi remake of Arjun Reddy but his next remake, Jersey, didn’t do well at the box office. While he is also set for Ali Abbas Zafar’s next which is also a remake of the French film, Nuit Blanche, he is in advance talks to star in the Hindi remake of Malayalam thriller Mumbai Police. The film originally starred Prithviraj Sukumaran.

As per a report in a media portal, the actor is currently in talks for the project which is being produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur’s production house Roy Kapur Films. Rosshan Andrrews, who helmed the original film, will be directing the remake as well. He is currently working on the script with Hindi script writers.

Mumbai Police starred Prithviraj Sukumaran, Jayasurya and Rahman. The casting for the roles of the latter two actors is underway. Meanwhile, the makers are in talks with an actress from the South industry to star opposite Shahid Kapoor.

EXCLUSIVE: Kriti Sanon speaks about Bachchhan Paandey failure and other films close to her heart; says, “I sulk, I cry, I do things that normal humans do”

Kriti Sanon is currently one of the most sought after actresses with multiple projects in the pipeline with actors like Varun Dhawan, Kartik Aaryan, Tiger Shroff and even South superstar Prabhas. But the actress has faced her share of flops and failures in films. While the industry has several pros including fame and money, one of its biggest con is the fear of failure which often pushes a person to go through an emotional roller coaster. It was no different for Kriti Sanon but the actress asserts to Bollywood Hungama that there is no other option but to move on to the next in such situations.

In a heartfelt exclusive conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Kriti Sanon revealed that the best way to deal with failures is to face your emotions and then, move on to the next project. Speaking about her reaction, Kriti said, “I sulk, I cry, I do all of that the normal human beings do. You might see a strong woman on the outside, on screen and in interviews. But I feel it’s important to face your emotions. You can’t just brush them under the carpet, because it doesn’t work like that. We’re not made like that. You know, when we were kids, we were so simple. If we felt hurt, we cried. When we felt like laughing, we laughed. We didn’t care what people were thinking. But, I think as we keep growing, maturity is somehow equivalent to handling yourself a certain way in front of people. Like, I don’t let people see how affected I am by certain things. And that’s my strength. But I think I want to. If I sulking for a few days, I would sulk, if I feel like crying and I’m low, I would not want to talk to anyone, then, I would not want to talk to anyone. Or, I might be on a phone call with a friend and I might rant what I’m feeling. But I think I do realize that everything you like goes on and you have to move on.”

“I may be defensive about certain films because I’m so close to them. But I have to move on, I have to accept what has happened, this is what the destiny was. And there is nothing more you can do as an actor beyond a point. You take the experience, whatever you learn from it and you accept what has happened and move on to the next. There will be always a next hopefully,” she concluded.

Kriti Sanon will next be seen in the Kartik Aaryan starrer Shehzada, Tiger Shroff starrer Ganpath, Prabhas starrer Adipurush, Varun Dhawan starrer Bhediya in the pipeline.
