Bharti Singh as turns host for Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs; says, “This is the first time I will be hosting a reality show with kids”

Zee TV, which is known for music reality shows like Antakshari, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, Dance India Dance, the channel is now all set to return with one of his most popular singing reality shows. The channel will be seen giving young talented singers a chance to shine on the biggest stage with Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs. After receiving an overwhelming response to the previous eight seasons, Zee TV is all set to launch the 9th edition of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs this time with Bharti Singh as the host.

After announcing Shankar Mahadevan and Anu Malik as the show’s judges, the channel has now finalized comedian Bharti Singh as the host of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs 9. While Bharti has hosted several shows in the past, this is the first time she will be seen hosting a reality show on Zee TV. It will also be the first time she will host a reality show featuring kids.

Talking about being part of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs, Bharti Singh mentioned, “I have been a part of a couple of awards shows on the channel and I have made a few appearances on some popular shows too, however, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs will be the first show that I host full-time for Zee TV. I am really excited and glad as Sa Re Ga Ma Pa is the longest-running reality show franchise, making it an honour for all of us to be associated with it. I must add that Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs is also going to be the first time I host a reality show featuring kids. Being a new mother myself, it really makes it even more special to see young talents from across India shine on the grand stage. I am really looking forward to the new season to begin.”

On ground auditions for the new season of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs have begun across the country. It will soon take place in major cities like Mumbai, Bangalore, and Nagpur. While Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs is all set to premiere soon on the channel, the date is yet to be finalized.

James Cameron’s Avatar to re-release in theatres on September 23; sequel Avatar: The Way of Water arrives on December 16, 2022

Filmmaker James Cameron’s Academy Award winning 2009 epic adventure Avatar, the most successful film of all time, returns to theatres on September 23 in stunning 4K High Dynamic Range. The much awaited sequel Avatar: The Way of Water will be releasing on December 16, 2022. Ahead of the sequel’s release, the makers will re-release the film in theatres.

As per reports, the film will have two week limited run in theatres. Apart from that, it has been removed from Disney+ and it is unclear when it will return to the platform. Ahead of the re-release, a new trailed dropped on Tuesday.

Written and directed by Academy Award® winner James Cameron, “Avatar” stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Stephen Lang, Michelle Rodriguez and Sigourney Weaver. The film was produced by James Cameron and Jon Landau. Nominated for nine Academy Awards including Best Picture and Best Director, the film won three Oscars®, for Best Cinematography, Production Design and Visual Effects.

20th Century Studios India will re-release Avatar in English in India on September 23, 2022.

BTS to hold global concert to bring the World Expo 2030 to Busan on October 15; 100,000 people are expected to attend

Pop titans BTS just announced the venue and date for the Global Busan Concert, WORLD EXPO 2030 BUSAN KOREA CONCERT BTS in BUSAN. The announcement can be found on global fandom life platform Weverse. BTS in Busan is hosted to support the bid to host the World Expo 2030 in Busan Metropolitan City. It will take place at Busan Ilgwang special stage in Gijang-gun, Busan on October 15.

The concert to be free for admission will be available in various ways: the in-person concert is expected to be attended by 100,000 people, and the in-person live broadcast LIVE PLAY will hold approximately 10,000 people at Busan Port International Passenger Terminal Outdoor Parking Lot. Online livestream will also be available.

Starting with the concert, BTS will kick off their activities as ambassadors for World Expo 2030 Busan, Korea. During the ambassador appointment ceremony last month, BTS said, “We will make extra efforts to not only support the bid, but also promote the beautiful nature and culture of the Republic of Korea worldwide.”

Back in June, it was announced that BTS, the newly appointed ambassadors for Busan’s World Expo 2030 bid, would hold the Global Busan Concert to support the nation’s bid to host the 2030 World Expo in Busan Metropolitan City. HYBE’s Chairman Bang Si-Hyuk and CEO Park Jiwon, and Mayor of Busan Metropolitan City Park Heong-joon signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the Busan Metropolitan City Hall to promote Busan’s bid for the World Expo 2030. As part of the agreement, BTS as ambassadors will hold the Global Busan Concert in efforts to bring the World Expo 2030 to Busan.

The memorandum covers joint initiatives for Busan to succeed in its bid as the host. It includes BTS to: Act as the ambassadors;Hold Global Concert in Busan, activities to appeal to the members of the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE); Personally introduce the proposed site for the BIE Enquiry Missions; Serve as the ambassadors at South Korea’s presentation session; Be present on the election day to support the bid; Provide photos and videos for the city’s digital campaigns, and; Spread promotional videos via official social media channels, and more.

Amitabh Bachchan tests positive for Covid-19 for the second time

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan took to social media on Tuesday night to inform his followers that he had tested positive for Covid-19 for the second time. The actor has been shooting for Kaun Banega Crorepati 14.

On Tuesday night, the megastar took to his official Twitter account to share the news. “I have just tested CoViD + positive .. all those that have been in my vicinity and around me, please get yourself checked and tested also,” he wrote.

Back in 2020, Big B had tested positive for Covid-19 and was even admitted to the hospital. He had tweeted, “I have tested Covid positive. Shifted to Hospital. Family and staff undergone tests, results awaited. All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested.”

On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan is currently hosting Kaun Banega Crorepati 14. Apart from this, he will be next seen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra along with Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor with Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy. The film releases on September 9.

EXCLUSIVE: Liger actress Ananya Panday reveals the one thing she wants Vijay Deverakonda fans to know about him

Liger marks the first pan India film of Ananya Panday. The actress will be sharing screen space opposite South hottie Vijay Deverakonda. During an interview with Bollywood Hungama, when Ananya Panday was asked about the one thing she would want Vijay Deverakonda fans to know more about, the actress went into deep thought. After a few moments, she responded, “He is very funny. He has a very wicked and dark sense of humour,” the actress asserted. We also believe that we got a glimpse of his humour and quick witted avatar on Koffee With Karan 7.

Vijay Deverakonda earned immense fame for his portrayal of the possessive, alcoholic Arjun Reddy which featured him alongside Shalini Pandey. The film was later remade in other languages including Hindi with Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani as Kabir Singh. Now the actor, who also seems to be the talk of B-town for his immense sex appeal, will be making his big Bollywood debut with the Karan Johar production Liger.

Speaking of Liger, the film is directed by renowned South filmmaker Puri Jagannadh along with Ananya Panday as the leading lady. The film will also feature American boxing legend Mike Tyson along with Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, Vishu Reddy playing pivotal roles in this action entertainer. It will feature Vijay in the role of a boxer with Ramya as his mother. The film is slated to release on August 25 in multiple languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
