Bigg Boss 16 promo: Salman Khan revelas details of new season of reality show

Colors is all set to bring back the brand-new season of India’s favourite reality show Bigg Boss with the one and only megastar Salman Khan as the host. The actor recently shot the promo for the show. For the past 15 years, Bigg Boss has witnessed everyone’s game, but now it’s his time to play it! 

Having kept the viewers entertained season after season, the anticipation for this year’s theme and contestants had magnified. Putting an end to all the speculations, the host Salman Khan unveils or rather warns that Bigg Boss will no longer be a spectator of the game.

Bigg Boss 16 is not just watching you, but he is ready to play the game with you. Be prepared for the show in a brand-new avatar with ten-fold the drama, excitement, and entertainment. Interestingly, the channel has dropped the first teaser of the upcoming season featuring the host, Salman Khan. 

In the promo video, Salman Khan is seen walking at a stranded location giving a flashback into all the past contestants, BB winners and their games. The flashback included Gauahar Khan, Sidharth Shukla, Shehnaaz Gill, Hina Khan, Shilpa Shinde and Tanishaa Mukherji. 

Meanwhile, the voiceover in the background plays, “15 saal se Bigg Boss ne sabka game Dekha lekin Iss baar Bigg Boss Apna game dekhayenge. Subah hogi par aasman mein Chand dikhega, gravity udegi hawa mein, ghoda bhi ab seedhe chal chalega, Pachaayi bhi saath chodegi Woh bhi khelegi Apna khel”.

However, the teaser did not confirm either the names of this year’s participants or the premiere date.

Koffee With Karan Season 7 is candidly taking viewers a step closer to the secrets of celebrities week after week. In its eleventh episode, the conversations turn steamy as Jugjugg Jeeyo stars Anil Kapoor and Varun Dhawan keep viewers hooked with conversations around marriage, relationships and competition in the industry. Delivering laughter by the dozen, the duo prove how being ‘filmi’ is what defines them best.

Uncannily, the guests were seen broaching the controversial subject of emotional and sexual infidelity. The two stars vehemently opposed either form, with Varun Dhawan reminding Karan Johar that he has no room for such misconduct owing to a new addition to his life who can alert his wife about his wrongdoings. “If I cheat on my wife, my dog will bark and let her know!” said the star with an animated woof in the end.

The episode was rife with marriage advice for viewers as the two stars, one a newly minted husband and another with over 40 years of marriage, shared pearls of wisdom. “You have to praise your wife and do things that make her happy. It is also important to consider how she makes you happy,” said Anil Kapoor. The duo also turned into agony aunts in a special show segment. They received calls from maritally aggrieved partners and shared their smart tips to help them out of their hurdles.

Hotstar Specials Koffee with Karan Season 7 airs exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar, with new tattletale games and the all-time favourite rapid fire – bringing fans closer to their favourite stars.

Arjun Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar to kick off month-long schedule of Meri Patni Ka Remake in London

Bollywood actors Arjun Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar will be starring in The Ladykiller. Even before their first offering releases in the theatres, the duo will reunite to star in Mudassar Aziz’ comedy next which is tentatively titled Meri Patni Ka Remake. For the same, the actors have reached London and will kick off their shoot, today.

As per a daily, a major portion of the film will be shot in the UK with Arjun Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar over the next month. Arjun and Bhumi will start shooting this project post-September 12 and will be shooting in and around London for about 30 days straight.

Following this schedule, they will shoot in Mumbai and plan on shooting in some other cities in India too. The untitled romantic comedy features both in supremely fun and entertaining roles. Rumours have it that this project is set to be directed by Mudassar Aziz. While there have been no confirmations about this project, the industry has been speculating that this is a project to watch out for because it has an interesting cast and dabbles in a genre that is a huge crowd pleaser! It is speculated that Rakul Preet Singh is the second female lead on the project.

Produced by Vashu Bhagnani under his banner Pooja Entertainment, this marks Bhumi Pednekar’s second project with Mudassar Aziz after Pati Patni Aur Woh (2019).

Meanwhile, Arjun Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar’s The Ladykiller has already been wrapped. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Shaailesh R Singh. The Ajay Bahl directorial is presented by Gulshan Kumar & T-Series in association with Karma Media & Entertainment.

Indiana Jones 5: Harrison Ford gets emotional confirming his final appearance in the role as new footage previewed at D23: ‘Thank you for making these films such an incredible experience’

Veteran Hollywood star Harrison Ford was seemingly emotional as the new footage of Indiana Jones 5 was previewed at the ongoing D23 Expo 2022 in Anaheim. While the preview is yet to be released online, Ford on Saturday appeared onstage with director James Mangold and co-star Phoebe Waller-Bridge.

“Thank you for making these films such an incredible experience for all of us,” Ford said at the D23 looking emotional, as per Variety. “I’m very proud to say that this one is fantastic. Indiana Jones’ movies are about fantasy and mystery, but they’re also about heart. We have a really great story to tell, as well as a movie that will kick your ass.”

Ford also hinted that this will be his last time in the iconic role. He told the crowd, “This is it. I will not fall down for you again. But thank you so much.”

Phoebe Waller-Bridge added, “I had the time of my life making this movie. I feel so incredibly lucky and keeping up with this guy [points at Ford] is EXHAUSTING.”

With plot details being hushed, Jez Butterworth, John-Henry Butterworth and Mangold have co-written the screenplay. Spielberg, Kathleen Kennedy, Frank Marshall and Simon Emanuel are producers.

Indiana Jones 5 will arrive in theatres on June 30, 2023.

Marvel’s Werewolf By Night starring Gael García Bernal and Laura Donnelly gets a creepy, black and white trailer at D23 Expo; set to premiere on October 7

D23 Expo 2022 is in full swing at Anaheim in California. At the Walt Disney Studios – Lucasfilm & Marvel Studios Presentation at D23 Expo 2022, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige took to the stage to share a series of announcements in the multiverse saga following the splurge of announcements at San Diego Comic-Con 2022. Amid bigger announcements came a Halloween Special Werewolf By Night starring Gael García Bernal and Laura Donnelly.

An eerie, black and white trailer was unveiled at D23 Expo on Saturday which gave a peek into what one can expect from the upcoming special. Based on Marvel Comics by the same name, it was created by Gerry Conway and Mike Ploog in 1972. The story revolves around “Jack Russell discovering his true nature when he transforms into the feral hybrid known as Werewolf by Night and becomes a howling, hirsute hero.”

Marvel Studios’ Werewolf By Night is coming to Disney+ Hotstar on October 7, 2022.

Marvel unveils skrulls’ infiltration in first trailer of Secret Invasion starring Samuel L. Jackson at D23 Expo; Don Cheadle returns as War Machine

D23 Expo 2022 is in full swing at Anaheim in California. At the Walt Disney Studios – Lucasfilm & Marvel Studios Presentation at D23 Expo 2022, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige took to the stage to share a series of announcements in the multiverse saga following the splurge of announcements at San Diego Comic-Con 2022. The first trailer of Secret Invasion starring Samuel L. Jackson was unveiled on the second day of the expo.

Actor Don Cheadle is reprising his longtime role as Colonel James “Rhodey” Rhodes — aka War Machine. Secret Invasion stars Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Ben Mendelsohn as the Skrull Talos—characters who first met in Captain Marvel. They are joined by Cobie Smulders who stars as Maria Hill, as well as Kingsley Ben-Adir, Emilia Clarke, and Olivia Colman.

The crossover comic event series showcases a faction of shape-shifting Skrulls who have been infiltrating Earth for years. The series will stream on Disney+ Hotstar in 2023.
