Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal are love struck in intimate mehendi and sangeet ceremonies in Lucknow, see photos

Following several years of courtship, Fukrey actors Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal tied the knot and hosted a few intimate ceremonies in Delhi and Lucknow. The actors are in Lucknow to celebrate another intimate celebration and party being hosted to celebrate their union. The couple has been sharing moments from the celebrations on social media.

Their mehendi and sangeet were characterised by their love for nature with the decor being inspired by nature with a lot of natural elements like florals, jute, wood etc. The couple did a fun “phoolon ki holi” as their friends and family showered them in a customary way.

This was followed by mehendi for Richa and her friends in a colourful set-up. The evening was followed by performances by their friends and cousins.

Richa’s best friend from childhood did a fun surprise performance for the couple, while her brother sang her a song and did a Bhangra performance too.

The couple then danced to two songs including their popular song from Fukrey, ‘Ambersariya’.

Earlier this week, they shared an audio note ahead of their wedding celebrations. However, in the voice clip, they shared that they had formalised their union in 2020. Ali and Richa took to their Instagram accounts, where they shared the voice note along with a throwback picture featuring the two. In the audio note, Richa is heard saying, “Two years ago we formalised our union and just then the pandemic hit us all, pressing a pause button on our celebrations and life.”

Ali said, “Like the rest of the nation, we too were struck by personal tragedies one after the other. And now, as we all enjoy this window of respite, we are finally celebrating with our families and friends and are so very touched and grateful for all the blessings that are coming our way. We offer you nothing but our love. Thank you.”

For unversed, Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal, who have been dating for a really long time, were originally meant to be wedded in April 2020, but owing to COVID-19 restrictions, the wedding was positioned twice. The two reportedly met on the sets of Fukrey in 2012 for the first time. The two will soon be seen sharing screen once again in the third instalment of the Fukrey franchise.

Bigg Boss 16: Sajid Khan enters Salman Khan’s show; doesn’t address sexual harassment allegations but says he became ‘arrogant’ after Housefull

Bigg Boss 16 is back with Salman Khan as the host. The new season, premiered on October 1 and saw Khan introduce the contestants. After months of anticipation, the viewers saw many known and unknown faces entering the Bigg Boss house. As a surprise for many, Sajid Khan was one of the celebrities to enter as a participant.

Sajid Khan was involved in MeToo allegations and several women had made sexual harassment allegations against him. But, he didn’t address any of those moments. He said, “Last four years se main ghar par baitha hoon, not really getting much of work. Toh jab Colors ki team ne mujhe invite kiya toh I just felt ki it’s time ki main ghar mein bhi jaun, thoda apne baare mein bhi sikhu (I’ve sat at home for the last four years and wasn’t getting much work. So when I was invited by Colors, I felt that it’s time I should enter the house and learn more about myself.)”

Sajid Khan continued, “Maine zindagi main bohot utaar-chadhav dekhein hai. Pichhle chaar salon main bahut niche…(I have seen many ups and downs in life. Very low in the last four years…).” Salman Khan then interrupted the director and said, “Ek hi utaar dekha hai. Baaki chadhav hi chadhav dekhein hain (You’ve seen only one drop but have only see the ups).”

The Housefull director then added, “Ek bahut bada utaar dekha hain (I saw a huge drop too.)”

He continued, “Ek kahawat hai ‘Failure destroys people’, mere case main ‘Success destroyed me’. Main bahut arrogant ho gaya tha, back-to-back teen hits thi… toh I thought I had become infallible, main koi galat film bana hi nahi sakta. Arrogant statements de raha tha, upar wale ne phat karke jhapad maara ‘Himmatwala’ niche… thoda sa humble hua phir se jhapad maara aur ‘Humshakals’ niche. Humshakals ke baad toh maine apni shakal hi chhupa di (There is a saying ‘failure destroys people’, but in my case ‘success destroyed me’. I had become very arrogant, had back-to-back three hits… so I thought I had become infallible, I just couldn’t make a wrong film. I was giving arrogant statements, god gave one tight slap, ‘Himmatwala’ flopped… got a little humble, swooped again and ‘Humshakals’ came and I hid my face.)”

Meanwhile, Sajid Khan will direct John Abraham and Riteish Deshmukh in 100%. The said film is expected to be a comedy and will star Nora Fatehi and popular reality show contestant turned actress Shehnaaz Gill.

EXCLUSIVE: Avinash Gowariker recalls how he managed to capture a ‘lovely moment’ between Shah Rukh Khan and AbRam

Celebrity photographer Avinash Gowariker recently sat down with Bollywood Hungama to talk about his career, shoots, favourite photos and what it is like to shoot with some of the biggest superstars. During the conversation, Gowariker reacted to some of his iconic photo shoots and one of the photos included superstar Shah Rukh Khan and his son AbRam Khan.

Recalling how the shoot with Shah Rukh Khan and AbRam came to be, Avinash said, “I’ve got a big huge tent of light in my studio and Abram found it very fascinating. So SRK used to get him on set and AbRam is one of those high-energy kids who’s interested in everything. So he was quite blown away by the tent and wanted to see ‘Papa, what is it about?’ He opened the chain and that tent has a chain at both ends. He wanted to see what was inside and I went to the other end and shot through. I just got that picture of him looking and Shah Rukh Khan looking at him like a proud father. So lovely shot.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is set to return to the big screen next year. He is headlining three projects – Pathaan, Jawan and Dunki. Following his cameos in Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, Laal Singh Chaddha and most recently, Brahmastra, he also has a cameo in Tiger 3.

Pathaan has the biggest stars including Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham. The film is set to release on January 25, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu!
