Black Panther: Wakanda Forever – New trailer shows new Black Panther, ironheart armour and feather serpent god Namor

A new trailer for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever debuted on Monday evening that gave a glimpse of the new costume of Black Panther, which seems to have been worn by a woman in the trailer. We also see the ironheart armour and the feather serpent god Namor.

Directed by Ryan Coogler and produced by Kevin Feige and Nate Moore, Marvel Studios’ Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, ventures back to the kingdom of Wakanda where a new threat emerges. The brand-new trailer and poster of the action-packed feature film traverses the hidden undersea nation called Talokan.

In the film, Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Shuri (Letitia Wright), M’Baku (Winston Duke), Okoye (Danai Gurira) and the Dora Milaje (including Florence Kasumba) fight to protect their nation from intervening world powers in the wake of King T’Challa’s death. As the Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must band together with the help of War Dog Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) and Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) and forge a new path for the kingdom of Wakanda. Introducing Tenoch Huerta as Namor, king of Talokan, the film also stars Dominique Thorne, Michaela Coel, Mabel Cadena and Alex Livinalli.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever opens in theatres on November 11, 2022, in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.

Alia Bhatt references to her pregnancy at the Time100 Impact Awards; says, “My little one has relentlessly kicked me throughout”

Just last week Alia Bhatt revealed that she would be honoured with the Time100 Impact Award and even shared an image of the same. Well, on Sunday the actress attended the awards function at the National Gallery in Singapore where she also gave an acceptance speech. But what caught the audiences’ attention during the speech was Alia making a reference to her pregnancy.

Towards the end of her speech, Alia Bhatt decided to thank those who have played an important role in her life and career saying, “I want to end with a few thank yous. Thank you to you all for patiently listening to me. Thank you to my team, for constantly being there for me. Thank you to my family; my mom for bringing me on to this planet; my father; my sister Shaheen who has helped put my talks into words; my husband Ranbir. I need to give them separate awards for putting up with me on a daily basis.”

Further talking about how proud she was to represent her country, She referred to her pregnancy and added, “I am immensely proud to be here tonight as a representative of my country, a country that has built both me and my career. India is a country that values diversity above anything else, and it’s a song that I hope to sing all over the world. And lastly, when it comes to making an impact, I hope I can continue to do so in whatever way possible. But for now, tonight, this award has genuinely made an impact on me—me and my little one, who has relentlessly kicked me throughout this speech. Thank you so much.”

On the work front, Alia Bhatt who was last seen in Brahmastra will be seen making her big Hollywood debut alongside Gal Gadot in the film Heart of Stone. Apart from this, she will also be seen in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, opposite Ranveer Singh.

Hrithik Roshan visits Falguni Pathak’s garba night; dances on ‘Ek Pal Ka Jeena’, watch video

Hrithik Roshan along with Vikram Vedha writer-directors Pushkar & Gayatri, and producer Shibasish Sarkar arrived at one of the most significant Navratri events in Mumbai as guests of honour. Upon being called on stage, Hrithik Roshan greeted the audience with a hearty, “Kasa Kai Mumbai? Kem cho, majja ma” leaving the venue in a state of frenzy.

Speaking about his childhood memories with the festival of Navratri, Hrithik shared, “Bachpan mein bohot khelta tha (garba, dandiya). Bahut mazza aata tha. Mujhe yaad hai ki meri daadi (Ira Roshan) joh hai woh mujhe samjhati thi, mandir main joh devi stapith hoti hai unke bagal mein meri picturon ki joh script hai woh rakhti thi, blessings ke liye. Aur mujhe samjhaati thi ki yeh jo utsav hai yeh unn devi ka utsav hai jisne burai ka sarvanash kiya tha. Uss devi mein bohot shakti hai.. Woh shakti mujhe aaj nazar aarahi hai, aap sab mein! Aur yeh saari jo shakti hai yeh main leke apne kaam mein daalne waala hoon. Apne kirdaar mein daalne waala hoon. Agar aapko mere kaam mein kabhi power dikhein, toh yeh yaad rakhna ki yeh power mujhe aapse mila hai.. Uske liye bohot bohot bohot shukriya. Agar aapka power na ho toh mera kuch nahi hosakta (As a child, I used to play a lot (Garba, Dandiya). It was a lot of fun. I remember that my grandmother (Ira Roshan) would explain it to me thatthe script of my films were kept next to the goddess in the temple, for blessings. And I was in agreement that this festival is a celebration of the goddess who destroyed the evil. There is a lot of power in that goddess. I am seeing that power today, in all of you! And I am going to take all this power and put it in my work. I am going to cast in my character. If you ever see the power in my work, then remember that I got this power from you.. Thank you very much for that. If you don’t have power, nothing can happen to me.)”

The actor also asked for the blessings of the audience for his film Vikram Vedha. Speaking about the film and the auspicious festival, Hrithik said, “Meri daadi ek aur baat samjhaati thi mujhe, kehti thi ki buraai aur acchai dono hum sabmein hai. Aur humare andar buraai aur acchai ka jo sambandh hai woh itna simple nahi hai. Aur yahi hain humari Vikram Vedha ki kahaani. Agar aap ne dekhi nahi hai, toh zaroor dekhiyega. Picture achchi hai iska guarantee main aapko de sakta hoon (My grandmother used to explain on one more thing. She used to tell me that both the bad and the good are in all of us. And the relationship between good and bad in us is not that easy. And this is the story of our Vikram Vedha. If you haven’t seen it, you will definitely see it. Film is good, I can guarantee you.”

Greeting Falguni Pathak on stage, Hrithik Roshan said, “Falguni ji main aapka bahut bada fan hoon. Kya aap mere saath 2 (garba) steps karengi?” The veteran singer was quick to suggest that she cannot match steps with Hrithik like his film songs. To which, Hrithik requested her to lead and he will follow her along with the audience. Falguni Pathak also took to recreate Hrithik’s famous ‘Ek Pal Ka Jeena’ step, with the actor accompanying her with his flawless dance moves.

Phone Bhoot: Katrina Kaif plays a ghost; it’s an encounter you can’t afford to miss

Katrina Kaif is all set to experiment with her characters and has now decided to play the role of a ghost in Phone Bhoot. The actress has been roped in by Excel Entertainment to feature in their horror-comedy that also stars Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khatter.

The movie’s first look featuring the trio – Katrina Kaif, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khatter has piqued curiosity among the audience for its unusual casting. A source close to the film confirmed about the actress saying, “Phone Bhoot is undoubtedly a film that has been the talk of the town for a long time. While the audience does know some elements of the story as well as about the film, the big question that left everyone wondering was about the details of the ghost in the film. While we have seen Katrina essaying many glamorous characters in her intriguing filmography, this time she will be seen playing the character of a ghost for the first time in the film. As the film is slated to release this Diwali season, it would be exciting to see Katrina playing such a different role on the big screen. Katrina coming as a ghost with her distinctive charm would be a treat to watch in the film. Phone Bhoot will also mark Kartina’s first film after her marriage.”

Katrina Kaif, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Ishaan Khatter recently attended Koffee With Karan 7 with Karan Johar asa the host. While audience got a glimpse of their off screen camaraderie, they seem to be quite excited to see them together on the big screen as well. Directed by Gurmmeet Singh and written by Ravi Shankaran and Jasvinder Singh Bath, Phone Bhoot is produced by Excel Entertainment, headed by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar. The film will be a post-Diwali release and is all set to be released on November 4.

Kamal Haasan starrer Vikram to be screened at the 27th Busan Film Festival

Kamal Haasan has been receiving appreciation and accolades for his last release Vikram. He has yet another honour coming his way. The Ulaganayakan or global superstar became a part of the LCU aka Lokesh Kanagaraj Cinematic Universe with Vikram that also starred Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil in pivotal roles, has now made its way to Busan. The film will be screened at the 27th Busan Film Festival.

Raaj Kamal Films International, the production house owned by Kamal Haasan, released an official statement regarding the screening of Vikram at the 27th Busan Film Festival on social media. The statement read, “The film will be screened at the prestigious Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) slated to take place from October 5 to October 14. Vikram will be screened under the Open Cinema category that recognizes new and internationally acclaimed films that strike the perfect balance between popular and artistic cinema.”

Speaking about this honour, the CEO of Raaj Kamal Films International, V. Narayanan said in a statement, “The response to Vikram all over the world has been extremely overwhelming. Coming to the film Vikram, the Tamil action-thriller also featured Kalidas Jayaram, Narain, and Chemban Vinod Jose in pivotal roles. The film revolves around the plotline of how a Black Ops team brings down an ambitious drug lord who can go to any lengths to fulfill his dreams. Known to be a treat for action lovers with ample gore and violence, the Kamal Haasan, Fahadh Faasil, Vijay Sethupathi starrer gained massive response at the theatres in India and abroad. While it was originally shot in Tamil, it was also dubbed in Telugu and Hindi. The film is currently streaming on Disney+ Hotstar as well as ZEE5.

EXCLUSIVE: Riteish Deshmukh says if Shammi Kapoor were on Instagram, he would be killing it

Riteish Deshmukh is freshly coming off his Netflix romantic-comedy film Plan A Plan B which also co-stars Tamannaah Bhatia. The film follows a matchmaker (Tamannaah Bhatia) who believes marriage is for everyone except herself, and a successful divorce lawyer (Riteish Deshmukh) with a secret, who cross paths, and explores if opposites coexist or attract.

In an exclusive segment with Bollywood Hungama, the 43-year-old actor answers some interesting rapid-fire questions. When asked “If there were actors from the previous generation who could be on Instagram and would be killing it, who would it be?” Riteish replied, “I think Shammi Kapoor sahaab because he was one of the first people who was on the internet, in India, and he loved technology.”

He continued, “And the kind of flamboyance if it was Shammi sahaab in these platforms available in the 60s… Oh my god all those pictures from Dal Lake and shikaras and Kashmir and ‘Yahoo.’ Imagine one camera is going and him doing ‘Yahoo.’” Tamannaah then added, “BTS of ‘Yahoo’ would’ve been a vibe.”

Adipurush teaser video becomes the fastest to cross 50 million views on YouTube

Just yesterday at 7.11 PM the teaser of the much-anticipated movie Adipurush was released. Starring Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan, and Kriti Sanon, the film based on the epic Ramayana witnessed a grand teaser launch in Ayodhya. Produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and directed by Om Raut the teaser gave a glimpse of what to expect from the visual spectacle Adipurush.

Interestingly, the hype surrounding the film has built to such a crescendo, that the video of the teaser on YouTube has managed to cross the 50 million view mark. Becoming one of the fastest teaser videos to cross the 50 million views mark, Adipurush has continued to see the view count steadily increase as the hours have passed. Currently, at over 72 million views in just over 24 hours, the teaser of Adipurush has become of the most-watched views of recent times.

As for the launch event, the grand teaser launch event saw the unveiling of a mammoth 50-foot poster that rose from the waters of the river Sarayu in Ayodhya. With a massive hoard of viewers and media personnel in attendance, it was one of the most significant unveiling events for a recent release.

Talking about  Adipurush, the film is an Indian Hindu mythological film based on the epic Ramayana. Directed by Om Raut and produced by T-Series the film was shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu languages, the film stars Prabhas as Raghava, Kriti Sanon as Janaki, and Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh.
