The actress was all set to step into the fantasy genre which was previously revolutionized by several popular actresses including Sridevi. But, there’s been no development on the project. Reports stated that the project was put on hold. However, producer Nikhil Dwivedi states that the film is very much on the cards and has not been delayed.
Earlier, reports claimed that the film was being mounted on a massive budget and would be VFX-heavy. It was supposed to roll this summer but apparently, the film was put on the back burner. Given the current market, the makers decided to wait it out before taking it on the floors. As per a report in Mid-Day, “Nagin is a VFX-heavy film that was to be made on a massive budget. Given the current dry spell in the market, the makers want to hold the project, and revisit it later.”
Previously, an elated Shraddha had said, “It’s an absolute delight for me to play a Nagin on screen. I have grown up watching, admiring, and idolising Sridevi ma’am’s Nagina and Nigahen and always wanted to play a similar role rooted in Indian traditional folklore. It’s like playing an iconic character, which has always been so fascinating for the audience.”
Nagin will be essentially a love story and will be designed as a trilogy. The film is being directed by Vishal Furia and produced by Nikhil Dwivedi under the banner of Saffron Broadcast & Media Ltd.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Shraddha Kapoor was last seen in Baaghi 3 with Tiger Shroff in 2020 March. Helmed by Ahmed Khan, it marked her second film with Tiger after Baaghi. The actress will next star in the untitled next of Luv Ranjan. It stars Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role. The film is scheduled for March 2023 release.

However, Saba has finally made a debut on Hrithik’s social media.
On Wednesday, the Krissh actor took to his verified Instagram handle and treated his fans with a photo featuring him with his lady love Saba Azad. Interestingly, the throwback shot was from their trip to London during the summer earlier this year. In the selfie clicked by Hrithik, Saba was seen sitting on a bench looking away from the camera.
While Saba can be seen keeping her legs on the bench and holding them, Hrithik posed with a smile. Instagramming the image, he wrote, “Girl on a bench,” along with a red-heart emoticon. He then added, “Summer 2022. London. / The Van Gogh immersive experience.” The post has managed to catch the attention of his Insta fam.
So far, it has managed to garner over 1.3M likes. Meanwhile, his fans flooded the comments section with red hearts and fire emoticons. In fact, many called them “best couple”. On the other hand, Azad also reacted to the post, as she wrote, “Van Gogh on a lazy summer afternoon / best day with the best egg”.

In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, the actor reflected on his 10 years in the industry, and his career and made some interesting revelations.
In the rapid-fire segment, when asked the best thing that came out of Shershaah, the actor said, “I mean, the most emotional and the thing that I was very nervous about was to see Captain Vikram Batra and his family be happy and proud and give me their blessings after seeing the film.”
Shershaah is a story of valour, love, and sacrifice, inspired by the life of Captain Vikram Batra (PVC). The film celebrates his valiant spirit and honors his invaluable sacrifice in the Kargil War of 1999. Staying true to his codename ‘Shershaah’, Captain Batra’s valiant fight and ultimate sacrifice were instrumental in India’s victory.
Directed by Vishnu Varadhan and jointly produced by Dharma Productions and Kaash Entertainment, Shershaah stars Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani in lead roles, and Shiv Panditt, Raj Arjun, Pranay Pachauri, Himmanshu Ashok Malhotra, Nikitin Dheer, Ankita Goraya, Anil Charanjeett, Sahil Vaid, Shataf Figar, and Pawan Chopra in pivotal roles.
On the work front, Sidharth Malhotra will be seen in Ajay Devgn-starrer Thank God, which also features Rakul Preet Singh. The film releases on October 25, 2022. He also has Mission Majnu with Rashmika Mandanna, Yodha with Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna and Rohit Shetty’s Indian Police Force with Shilpa Shetty, Vivek Oberoi. All projects are slated for 2023 release, respectively.

The film that went on-floors a few months ago, was shot exhaustively across Glasgow, Mumbai and Delhi. The third schedule of Tehran began in the last week of September and she shot over a period of 15 days, consisting of rigorous night shoots through the bylanes of Delhi.
Sharing her amazing experience of the shoot, Manushi says, “I want to learn and grow with every project that I get an opportunity to do. I want to constantly evolve into becoming an actor who is formidable in her craft and dependable to deliver performances that hopefully touch the hearts and minds of audiences. Tehran is one such film.”
She adds, “Shooting for Tehran was an enriching experience. I learnt something new every single day! In the run-up to the film’s wrap, I was only shooting nights! So, I might have ended up with 15 sleepless nights but I was satiated as an artiste because I got to understand the craft so differently, primarily because the genre is so exciting. This was my first long night shoot schedule of my career and I enjoyed it every single night.”
The gorgeous actress further says, “I have to thank my director Arun Gopalan and producer Dinesh Vijan for the opportunity to shine in their vision. Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal tied the knot last year in December in an intimate wedding in Rajasthan. They dated privately for a couple of years before getting married. In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Katrina said, “Marriage is a big change in anyone’s life. You’re now sharing your life with a person, and you are living together. It’s been really beautiful, really wonderful. Of course, he has been away a lot on shoots, as have I.”
The actress added, “That’s always the thing with any two actors who are in this profession where there’s constant travel. You do get less time together. But he is just a very very wonderful person, and I think it’s nice to have a person like that in my life.”
