Earlier this year, Kim Minha made her lead role appearance in the Apple TV+ trilingual series Pachinko. Epic in scope and intimate in tone, the story begins with forbidden love and crescendos into a saga that journeys between Korea, Japan, and America to tell an unforgettable story of war and peace, love and loss, triumph and reckoning. The series premiered globally on Apple TV+ on March 25, 2022. The series is based on the acclaimed New York Times bestselling novel by the same name and is created by Soo Hugh.
Meanwhile, Doyoung’s group NCT 127 dropped their new album 2 Baddies dropped on September 16, 2022. In 2021, he starred in the television drama Midnight Cafe Season 3 –The Curious Stalker and appeared in the musical Marie Antoinette. On October 1, Doyoung released the soundtrack song ‘Like a Star’ for the drama Yumi’s Cells.

Given his work in the past five years, a section of the audience wants to see him more with Bollywood stars on the silver screen.
Well, it seems they will see him more on the big screen with stars as he has recently confirmed another project with Ajay Devgn. In a conversation with Pinkvilla ahead of the release of his Marathi film Har Har Mahadev, the actor shed some light on the same. When asked if the speculations of him collaborating with Devgn for the latter’s project Bholaa, Kelkar said that he will not be seen in the movie. Sharad jokingly said, “He (Ajay) didn’t call me.”
However, the Laxmii actor further continued and said, “We are planning something. There was one thing which was supposed to come but I think the schedules are not matching. But we are working on it in the future. I think maybe next year we’ll work on it and it’s gonna be crazy,” to the portal.
Coming to his professional front, the 46-year-old actor is currently gearing up for the release of Har Har Mahadev. It is touted to be one of the biggest-ever Marathi Films to date. On the other hand, Sharad has reunited with Prabhas for Adipurush as he will be dubbing for the Hindi version of the Om Raut directorial. Earlier, he gave his voice for the Hindi voice of Prabhas as Bahubali in the Baahubali franchise.
Meanwhile, Ajay Devgn also has an interesting line up including Thank God and Drishyam 2. While the release of the former is around the corner, the sequel of Drishyam will be released on November 18.

As soon as the announcement was made, netizens got nostalgic and flooded the social media platform with their reaction. Ever since then, a section of Shaktimaan has been eagerly waiting for the film to go into production and hit the silver screen.
The team still has things to check and get on board before moving forward in the process. And now, we have news for all the Shaktimaan fans. The team is in talks with Minnal Murali fame, Basil Joseph, to come on board as the director of Shaktimaan. Yes! You read it right.
If a Pinkvilla report is something to go by then, the team has approved Basil Joseph to don the hat of the director. Quoting a source, the report stated, “Basil is well versed with the world of Indian Superhero Films and is a big fan of Shaktimaan himself. The director has already met the Shaktimaan team multiple times and is keen to come on board the film. The producers have asked Basil to come up with his own version of the screenplay to know if he is on the same wavelength as the team on the visual and story-telling front.”
Elaborating on the same, the report mentioned that the paperwork and other aspects will happen once the first draft is locked as per the quality that’s desired by the team.
“Shaktimaan is a franchise that has the potential to change the game for Hindi Cinema and hence, the team is being very cautious with their choice of director. Mukesh Khanna has made the character a household name and the idea is to reintroduce the superhero to today’s audience. They have been talking to several top directors and as of now, Basil Joseph is the front runner to be at the helm of affairs, as all the meetings have met with a positive response,” the report further added.
In conclusion, the report also gave an update regarding the casting and speculations of Ranveer Singh being on the top in the list. It asserted, “He will hear the script, get an idea of the vision that producers and directors have for the franchise, and only then play the superhero. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for him as well to play a superhero on screen and hence, he is being cautious with what he picks up.”

While the promotions were done on a big scale with promotional tours in every state, the film still failed at the box office. Now, it has arrived on a streaming platform. Liger, the Hindi version, is now streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from October 21 onwards. The Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil and Kannada versions were made available on September 21.
Vijay Deverakonda had said that the film will be a major success but it failed miserably at the box office which left the actor disappointed. Recently, Puri spoke to Chiranjeevi during an Instagram live session after GodFather’s release and said, “Success brings a lot of energy and all that energy goes away with failure. In success, we feel like a genius and in failure, we feel like a fool. Those who believed in us when the films worked, will also turn on us when films flop.”
He added, “We get a lot of pressure. We need strength to face all those things. We need a healing period when we are injured but I believe that the healing period should be short. We might lose people, and wealth or wars might happen, the healing period should not be more than one month. We should move on to the next thing.”
The filmmaker further said, “I worked on Liger for three years and I enjoyed doing that film with actors and building beautiful sets, I shot with Mike Tyson. But, it failed. But for that, we can’t cry over it for the next three years. If I look back, the days I was happier are more than the days I was sad.”
Liger released on August 26, 2022, in theatres. On the work front, despite Liger’s failure, Puri Jagannadh and Vijay Deverakonda are working on Jana Gana Mana. The film is set for next year.

The producer had filed a suit for copyright infringement.
“Defendants No. 1 to 23 (rogue websites) and all others acting for and/or on their behalf are restrained from in any manner hosting, streaming, retransmitting, exhibiting, making available for viewing and downloading, providing access to and/or communicating to the public, displaying, uploading, modifying, publishing, updating and/or sharing (including to its subscribers and users) on their websites through the internet or any other platform, the film ‘Ram Setu’ and contents related thereto, so as to infringe the Plaintiff’s exclusive rights and copyrights therein, till the next date of hearing,” the court ordered, as reported by Bar and Bench.
Single-judge Justice Jyoti Singh passed the order stating the producer had made a “significant investment in the movie and it would severely impact their interest monetarily if the rogue websites are allowed to host the same.” The Delhi High Court also directed the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) and Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MEITY) to issue notifications to the various Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to block access to these rogue websites.
A day ago, Akshay Kumar launched the song ‘Jai Shree Ram’ from the film at a grand event in Mumbai. This track is crooned and composed by Vikram Montrose, and penned by Shekhar Astitwa. The song is mixed and mastered by Eric Pillai from Future Sound Of Bombay and supervised by Azeem Dayani. Akshay had a pleasant surprise waiting for him as the Ram Setu team brought up the karaoke version of the anthem and invited him to sing on stage with his fans and media. The team also hosted a special lunch for the media serving traditional Diwali thali to bring in festive joy. Also present at the event were director Abhishek Sharma and producers Vikram Malhotra and Manish Menghani from Prime Video.
The story of Ram Setu, written and directed by Abhishek Sharma, revolves around an atheist archaeologist turned believer, Aryan Kulshrestha (Akshay Kumar), who must race against time to prove the true existence of the legendary Ram Setu before evil forces destroy the pillar of India’s heritage.
Presented by Prime Video in association with Cape of Good Films and Lyca Productions and is an Abundantia Entertainment Production. The film is produced by Aruna Bhatia (Cape of Good Films), Vikram Malhotra (Abundantia Entertainment), Subaskaran, Mahaveer Jain, and Aashish Singh (Lyca Productions) and Prime Video with Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi as the Creative Producer. Ram Setu will be distributed worldwide in theatres by Zee Studios. Ram Setu is slated to release this Diwali on October 25, 2022.
