Shark Tank Season 2 promo introduces news sharks; Ashneer Grover, Ghazal Alagh not returning, watch

Shark Tank India, which has helped entrepreneurs to kickstart their new ideas, is all set to return with its second season. Shark Tank India is once again going to give business aspirants a chance to fulfil their entrepreneurial dreams. The show provides an exciting opportunity for these new entrepreneurs to present their ideas in front of experienced investors and business experts.

However, it seems last season’s famous Sharks Ashneer Grover, founder of Bharat Pay, and Ghazal Alagh, the co-founder of MamaEarth, are not returning this season. The new shark that has entered the second season of ‘Shark Tank India’ is Amit Jain, CEO and Co-Founder of Car Dekho Group. The show is said to be hosted by stand-up comedian Rahul Dua. The business reality show ‘Shark Tank’ was first created by Mark Burnett in the year 2009. The pitch line of the show was very simple. Investors investing in different businesses act as judges in the show and have to pitch their business ideas to budding businessmen.

The talk of some of these judges getting paid to appear on the show has also come to the fore. The business reality show ‘Shark Tank’ has aired 12 seasons in the US so far. The show was first released by ABC.

The production of the business reality show ‘Shark Tank’ was also started by its creator Mark Burnett under the banner of his company. Then One Three Media took over the production responsibilities. Later, the United Artists Media Group continued as the production banner. It rose to fame when MGM Television caught sight of the show.

Sony Pictures Television joined its production last year. From 2014 to 2017, it also won Prime Time Emmy Awards, and then the category in which these awards were being given was discontinued.

After three years, global star Priyanka Chopra Jonas is finally back in India. On November 1, the actress arrived in Mumbai and was greeted by a throng of people and paparazzi. The actress and her husband Nick Jonas have resided in their Los Angeles home for the past few years. While she is away from her LA home, the actress is truly enjoying breathing in the city of dreams.

Sharing her excitement and happiness with fans, the Desi Girl took to her social media handle and shared a two-picture post. In the photos, she can be seen standing near a window, which gives a picturesque view of Mumbai’s Bandra sea link. Captioning the post, Chopra wrote a short yet adorable note, which read, “Home. / Looking forward to the next few days.”

Interestingly, her singer-husband was among the first ones to react on the post with a heart-eye emoticon. Meanwhile, a section of her fans flooded the comments section with “welcome back home” messages for her.

Coming to her professional front, PeeCee has Ending Things with Anthony Mackie and It’s All Coming Back To Me with Celine Dion in her kitty. She will be seen in Russo Brothers’ Prime Video series Citadel, alongside Richard Madden. She also has Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zaraa, co-starring Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif. All her upcoming projects are slated to release in 2023. She was last seen in the Netflix movie, The White Tiger, which also featured Adarsh Gourav and Rajkummar Rao.

The वरGIN Tree: Sunny Singh, Mouni Roy, Palak Tiwari to star in Sanjay Dutt and Deepak Mukut’s maiden venture

Besides being an ace superstar, Sanjay Dutt is keen to carve his name as a prolific producer. A year ago, Dutt set up his production company – Three Dimension Motion Pictures Pvt Ltd which will bankroll feature films and other content. Now, one hears that along with producer Deepak Mukut’s Soham Rockstar Entertainment, the star is steering his company into the first venture. The duo has come together for their next titled The वरGIN Tree. The film is a horror comedy with an ensemble which includes Sunny Singh, Mouni Roy, Palak Tiwari, Aasif Khan and also the launch vehicle for debutant Nikunj Lotia, known as Be YouNick. It is directed by Sidhaant Sachdev and written by Vanuksh Arora & Sidhaant Sachdev.

Talking about the film, Sanjay Dutt says, “I am pleased to back the film which was exactly the script I was looking for. The film is the perfect blend of comedy and horror, with the right balance of chills and thrills. I am so glad to have found a production partner, in Deepak Mukut whose cinematic vision and ideals align with mine. I always wanted to encourage young fresh talent in the industry and with this film, we launch a new director with a brilliant fresh vision. He has put together an eclectic cast and I wish them the best time and a glorious shoot ahead.”

Uunchai director Sooraj Barjatya says Salman Khan encourages him to make family-oriented films

Filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya is returning to direction with the upcoming movie Uunchai. The last film he directed was Prem Ratan Dhan Payo starring his frequent collaborator Salman Khan. The latter made his lead role debut in Main Pyar Kiya in 1989 and since then they worked together on several family-friendly movies. As it turns out, it is Khan who has encouraged the filmmaker to work on family-oriented films.

 

In a conversation with PTI, Sooraj Barjatya revealed, “He says ‘I do my action everywhere but we will do family (dramas) together. He always encourages me to go back to what we do. He is like let’s do the same thing… Like having a brother, sister and family because no one does that today. He says, ‘Let’s go back to these (films)’. Essentially, it is a part of his life and even mine. Besides, both of us want to spend more time together.”

At the trailer launch of Uunchai recently, Barjatya revealed that Salman Khan wanted to be a part of the film. “When I was making this, Salman asked me, ‘Sooraj what are you making?’ then, ‘Why are you going to the hills?’ Then he also told me, ‘I can do this film!’ I said no! Because we all know he can climb mountains. But I needed people who can look as if they can’t,” the filmmaker said.

Sooraj Barjatya and Salman Khan’s relationship go way back as Khan debuted as a lead actor in Rajshri Productions’ Maine Pyar Kiya. He went onto star in Hum Aapke Hai Koun, Hum Saath Saath Hai and Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo.

Sooraj and Salman are set to reunite on another project which is also in family space. He plans to begin work on it after his son Avnish Barjatya’s directorial in which he will launch Sunny Deol’s younger son Rajveer and actress Poonam Dhillon’s daughter Paloma.

Meanwhile, Uunchai is a film that promises to celebrate emotion, relationships and age, Uunchai is headlined by Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Sarika, Neena Gupta and Parineeti Chopra, with special performances by Danny Denzongpa and Nafisa Ali Sodhi. Uunchai is slated to be released on November 11, 2022.

The star recently informed her Instagram fans that she was departing from the US, where she resides with her husband, Nick Jonas, and their daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, and heading to India. Early this morning, the celebrity touched down in Mumbai. Priyanka Chopra was photographed by the paparazzi as she returned to Mumbai. As she waved and greeted the media before departing for her home in the city, they took pictures of the celebrity at the airport arrival gates. Fans were thrilled as the images and video started to spread on social media. For her airport appearance, Priyanka donned a casual denim-on-denim outfit and completely nailed the jet-set style statement like the fashion icon she is. She went with a loose top, matching pants, and accessories that made a statement.

Regarding Priyanka’s airport appearance, the actor wore denim blue attire. It has a bandhgala-necked top with button neck closures, full sleeves with folded cuffs, and a figure-flattering design. Priyanka completed her look with a pair of denim blue high-waist and straight-fit pants.

Priyanka completed her airport look with a patterned tote bag, chic bracelets, and white chunky lace-up sneakers. She finished it off with a no-makeup look, a centre-parted updo, berry-toned lipstick, glowing skin, mascara on the lashes, and darker brows.

Priyanka also shared on social media how happy she felt to be going back to India. Just before landing, she shared a photo from the plane with the caption, “Back in the bay.. Touchdown Mumbai.” Priyanka uploaded another story from the Mumbai streets as she was leaving the airport with the hashtag “Mumbai meri jaan.” Priyanka, who was jet lagged, took refuge in Koffee with Karan. In one of her Instagram stories, her television was shown playing Koffee with Karan. The image’s caption stated, “It ain’t Mumbai if you’re not jet lagged with Karan Johar on TV.

On the work front, Priyanka has multiple projects in the pipeline. She will be soon starring in Amazon Prime Video’s web show Citadel. The actress will also be seen in the movie It’s All Coming Back to Me opposite Sam Heughan and Celine Dion.

Triptii Dimri, debutante Babil Khan starrer Qala to premiere on Netflix on December 1, 2022

Netflix on Tuesday announced the release date of its upcoming psychological drama, Qala will premiere on 1st December 2022. Set in the late 1930s and early 1940s, Qala is the story of an eponymous young playback singer. The film is about Qala’s tragic past and the ways in which it catches up with her, causing her to unravel at the peak of her hard-won success. But the beginning and end of her spiral is her relationship with her mother. The pathology of her upbringing and the neurosis it leads to. Witness the emotional journey of Qala who navigates professional successes while battling personal demons.

Director Anvitaa Dutt shares, “Qala is a story about mothers and daughters. And how a troubled upbringing can damage someone and have far-reaching consequences. Karnesh and I both felt it was an important story to tell. We set it in the world of music in the late 1930s; a setting both evocative and poignant. It has been an exciting and rewarding journey to bring this story to life with Netflix as our partners. This is my second outing with them and it has been twice as much fun to create a homegrown story for audiences worldwide.”

Priyanka Chopra to meet Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Vishal Bhardwaj for possible collaborations

Priyanka Chopra is back in India after three years. The actress returned to Mumbai on the morning of November 1 and was mobbed by paparazzi and a massive crowd. The actress has been in her Los Angeles home for the past couple of years where she lives with her husband Nick Jonas. During the pandemic, the actress continued to stay in LA. Following the Diwali celebrations last week, the actress has returned to Mumbai and it seems like she already has plans to discuss possible collaborations with filmmakers Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Vishal Bhardwaj.

In a report seen on a web portal, the actress and the filmmakers are in discussions about possible projects. They have been meaning to work on another project for some time now and have even shared a few ideas with Priyanka. During this trip, she plans to take these conversations forward. The actor also has some brand commitments to fulfil but she will try to wrap up as many things as possible during this trip.

Priyanka Chopra and Vishal Bhardwaj previously worked together on films like 7 Khoon Maaf and Kaminey. She has worked with Sanjay Leela Bhansali on Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela where she made a special appearance in a song followed by playing Kashibai in Bajirao Mastani. Both projects were headlined by Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. The actress was reportedly in talks for the Sahir Ludhianvi biopic, but it didn’t work out.
