Raj Kundra, who has been in news for making bizarre appearances during events, has finally opened up about the reason behind using masks. Readers would be aware that Raj, who even attended the lavish B-town Diwali bashes, refused to reveal his face to the camera and has been sporting it for all events that he has been attending ever since he returned home after being out of police custody. In the recent #AskRaj session he conducted on social media, the businessman decided to go all candid while responding to the questions thrown towards him which also included allegations related to producing and distributing pornographic content.

The questions in the #AskRaj session ranged from his relationship with his actress-wife Shilpa Shetty to the marriage talks of his sister-in-law Shamita Shetty. Besides that, fans also uninhibitedly asked about the allegations related to producing porn. But the frequent question that the businessman was asked about was over the masks that he has donned on every occasion. Responding to it, Raj said, “I don’t wear my mask for friends and fans. I wear it for media, that’s all they will get of me from now!” He added, “I am Not wearing it for the public just don’t wish to give media a chance to click my face! I am hurt by the media trial they put me through! Media is not above the law!”


When a fan requested him to show off his mask collection, Raj said, “The collection is growing too big for my cupboard. They come out when I do ;)”


On the other hand, one of the fans even questioned the porn allegations against Raj Kundra. Answering the fan’s question, Raj maintained, “This will come out soon! #corruption #vendetta #rivalry many things #AskRaj one thing I can assure my well wishers is I have never participated in or produced anything PORNOGRAPHIC in my life.”


For the uninitiated, Raj Kundra was arrested for allegedly producing and distributing porn films via a mobile app called ‘HotShots’, last year in July.

Neena Gupta reveals she once played sister to Feroz Khan; says, “He was 20 years older than me”

Known for calling out patriarchy and doing roles that break stereotypes, Neena Gupta has never shied away from calling spade a spade. From doing shows like Masaba Masaba to playing some of the most popular characters on the big screen in recent times, the actress has been once again on a career-high even at the age of 60. During an interview for her forthcoming film Uunchai promotions, Neena Gupta and Sarika were discussing how they played older siblings to actors who were much older than her and how actors would romance actresses who were almost two to three decades younger than them.

Recalling the days, Neena Gupta spoke about how she had played elder sister to Feroz Khan who was 20 years older than her. The actress played his widowed sister-in-law in the film Yalgaar (1992) which featured Feroz Khan with Sridevi as his love interest. The film also featured Sanjay Dutt, Nagma, and Manisha Koirala, among others. Agreeing with her perception, her Uunchai co-star Sarika added that in recent times, actors’ characters and roles have changed as more and more actors are willing to play the role of fathers to grown-up women which was never the case earlier.

Neena Gupta was seen discussing it during a Mirchi interview, where she said, “I once played Feroz Khan’s older sister… He was 20 years older than me… I have done many roles like this because at that time, we didn’t have TV shows or anything. We only had films, and these were the only roles we’d get.” Meanwhile, Sarika added, “Playing a mother isn’t always a bad thing. It’s wrong when they ask you to play mother to someone who is just four years younger than you in real life… There are so many men who are in their 50s, and they’re playing fathers, so it’s very good. In the old times, they used to keep dancing around bushes even after the age of 70.”

Coming to their forthcoming film Uunchai, produced by Rajshri Productions and directed by Sooraj Barjatya, the film tells the story of three friends who decide to fulfill the last wish of their fourth friend at any cost – which is to climb Mt. Everest. With Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani, and Anupam Kher in the lead, the film also features Parineeti Chopra as their guide and it is slated to release on November 11.

Ace director Siddharth Anand says the idea behind secretly dropping the teaser of Pathaan was to celebrate Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday with his countless fans across the globe! The visually spectacular Yash Raj Films’ action extravaganza, Pathaan, is part of Aditya Chopra’s spy universe and has the biggest superstars of the country Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in it.

Siddharth says, “The craze for a glimpse of Pathaan has been unprecedented. After a long, long time there’s insane buzz for a film that is genuine and organic. And it’s all due to the super stardom of this one man – Shah Rukh Khan. His fans, and we are talking of millions of them, have been clamouring for just a peek of him and his film. And thus, there could be no better day to put out the teaser of Pathaan than SRK’s birthday!”

The director adds, “He, truly, has been ruling the hearts and minds of audiences for decades and Pathaan marks his return to the big screen after a gap of four long years. So, while we decided to surprise them all on his birthday, the pressure to deliver was immense.”

Siddharth says, given the massive expectations of fans, the teaser of Pathaan had to deliver the goods. He says, “We had to make a unit that justifies their wait to see something of Pathaan as well as the fact that we have chosen his birthday to release the first big asset of the film! It had to be spectacular and memorable at the same time and I think we have managed to make them very happy, given the incredible reaction that we are witnessing for Pathaan’s teaser.”

Pathaan has the biggest on-screen pairings in the history of Indian cinema given their epic blockbusters Om Shanti Om, Chennai Express and Happy New Year. SRK and DP recently sizzled in Spain as leaked photos from the sets took the internet by storm. The glamourous duo shot a hugely mounted song in Mallorca as SRK was papped flaunting an eight-pack and DP her perfect bikini bod. They then headed to Cadiz and Jerez in Spain where they wrapped the schedule on March 27.

Pathaan Teaser: Shah Rukh Khan unveils slick avatar as a suave spy in upcoming action-entertainer; rings in 57th birthday with comeback movie teaser

In exactly over two months, superstar Shah Rukh Khan makes his much-awaited after five years. The actor, who was last seen in Aanand L Rai’s Zero, will take on the role of a spy in the upcoming action entertainer. It is part of Yash Raj Films’ 50th anniversary. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the makers have kept every announcement under wraps, surprising people with it and thus, breaking the internet with Shah Rukh Khan’s look back in June 2022. As the actor turns 57 today, Pathaan makers have unveiled the first teaser of the upcoming film giving a glimpse into the world of the upcoming spy actioner.

Shah Rukh Khan took to social media to unveil the teaser on Wednesday, November 2 adding, “Apni kursi ki peti baandh lijiye…#PathaanTeaser OUT NOW! Celebrate #Pathaan with #YRF50 only at a big screen near you on 25th January, 2023. Releasing in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. @deepikapadukone|@TheJohnAbraham| #SiddharthAnand |
@yrf”. The teaser has raised anticipation amongst the fans who are waiting to see SRK on the big screen again.

Back in June 2022, Shah Rukh Khan hosted a live session on his Instagram account after completing 30 years in the film industry. While speaking to the fans, he said, “When we started shooting Pathaan, it was a lot of fun. It is an action film with wonderful co-actors Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, and Ashutosh Rana among others. It is the kind of film I wanted to do for 30 years. I always thought of myself as somebody who can do some cool action stuff. So, I think my impression about Pathaan is what I really wanted to do when I first came to Mumbai, hopefully, I have achieved that in Pathaan as an actor.”

He admitted that he wanted to be an action hero in his 20s but is enjoying the process at 56 too. “I enjoyed it. It is fun having to do action. It is a little late (referring to his age). At the age of 56, I am being macho and solid, trying to make it work. Siddharth and the whole action team have put in a lot of hard work. Hopefully, it will work,” he smiled.
