After Disha Patani’s exit due to her unprofessionalism, Ekta Kapoor approaches Shraddha Kapoor and Tara Sutaria for KTina

Back in 2019, Bollywood Hungama reported that Ekta Kapoor had roped in Disha Patani to star in the film KTina. In fact, the actress was to commence work on the film post her shoot for the Salman Khan starrer Radhe in the same year. Though the film began shooting with Disha Patani, now we hear that Balaji Productions is looking to make a casting change in the film. If what we hear is true, then Ekta has apparently approached both Shraddha Kapoor and Tara Sutaria for the film.

Updating Bollywood Hungama exclusively a source close to the production tells us, “Disha Patani was confirmed for the film and even did the pre-production meetings and shoot in 2019. The film was shot for about 5 to 7 days. However, everything was on hold with the pandemic and lockdowns. Now, the makers are looking to make a casting change.” Prod the source on what the sudden change mid-way through the filming process and he continues, “Post the lockdown, multiple issues began cropping up between the lead actress (Disha Patani) and the producers. In fact, even during the shoot, there were issues between Disha and Balaji Motion Pictures on creative aspects. From creative differences to more mundane starry airs from Disha’s side, that led to widening rifts; it was becoming difficult for Ekta and Disha to be on the same page. Now, given that KTina is based on Ekta Kapoor’s real life, she was very involved with the project and wanted everything to be perfect. With less than cordial behaviour of the female lead, Ekta had no choice but to pull the plug and sack Disha.”

Further talking about the new cast, the source continues, “As of now, Ekta Kapoor has approached both Shraddha Kapoor and Tara Sutaria to be a part of KTina. Talks with both are on to replace Disha Patani. In light of this change, filming has ground to a halt, and will resume once the change in the cast is made.” Interestingly, while the source claims that a cast change will be made despite portions of the film is already shot, he adds that once a new lead actress has been finalized, the shoot will resume from the beginning. “The problems between Disha Patani and Ekta have been evident for a while now, in fact, Ananya Panday and Nushrratt Bharuccha had also been approached for the film. Unfortunately, neither of the two worked out, and the makers have now moved to Shraddha and Tara,” says the source.

As for the film, while it may still be a while before shooting will resume, KTina will feature the story of a small-town Punjabi Girl modelled on the likes of Ekta herself. The movie, was written by Raaj Shaandilyaa, directed by Ashima Chibber, and produced by Ekta Kapoor.

Shah Rukh Khan to shoot for Salman Khan starrer Tiger 3 post release of Pathaan

Aditya Chopra, the head of India’s biggest production house Yash Raj Films, is building the biggest Indian franchise with his concept of the spy universe that will be an action spectacle for audiences. Pathaan, Tiger, and War, in which Hrithik Roshan plays the role of Kabir, are three important pieces of this spy universe that is shaping up to be a theatrical experience like no other. While it is confirmed, that Salman Khan as Tiger will appear in Pathaan, now we have confirmed information that Shah Rukh Khan will appear in Tiger 3 for a mind-boggling sequence!

“Shah Rukh Khan will shoot for Tiger 3 immediately after Pathaan’s release, thus confirming his presence in the Tiger franchise! In Aditya Chopra’s spy universe, the paths of SRK, Salman, and Hrithik will constantly cross to build up to the grand finale of the spy universe. The source adds, “This will be a massively mounted action sequence where Pathaan and Tiger come together for a very crucial scene. This will also be a huge cinematic moment for audiences to love. The spy universe is turning out to be deliciously thrilling because it brings the biggest superstars together in riveting, edge-of-the-seat sequences that are important for the plot to move forward. Now, all eyes are on when Hrithik Roshan will enter the spy universe!”

Arbaaz Khan CONFIRMS son Arhaan Khan wanting to pursue Bollywood; to assist the actor-filmmaker in his next

Readers would be aware that Karan Johar is gearing up for the release of his direction Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani featuring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. Assisting the filmmaker were some of the ambitious star kids who planning to gearing up for their debut in the industry. Amongst them was Arhaan Khan, son of divorced couple Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora. Recently, his actor-filmmaker father Arbaaz spoke about his Bollywood ambitious, how Arhaan is keen on learning the practical side of filmmaking and about assisting his father in Patna Shukla.

In an interview with Puja Talwar, Arbaaz Khan spoke about his son’s keen interest in filmmaking and how he would assisting him in his forthcoming production “I am looking forward to him coming next month and joining me on my film because he wants to also learn the practical (side of filmmaking). In fact, before he went in for this semester, he was on Karan’s film also. He did almost 20-30 days of being an assistant (director), and just being on the sets. He is now excited about being on my film now, he will be coming in December… he will join me in the last stage of my film,”

Like a proud father, Arbaaz also expressed his pride in the way his son Arhaan Khan has grown up to be independent despite being brought up in a protected environment. He continued, “My boy (Arhaan) at this point is studying in a Long Island film school, he is in his second year, first semester. He is really enjoying his time there. I was a little sceptical, worried because sometimes coming from a protected atmosphere and then suddenly just getting thrown in the deep end and being told ‘now go and learn’ (can be a lot). He is loving what he is doing, he is making friends. He is liking his independence, he is learning. So, I am quite happy and proud of him,”

Arbaaz Khan is currently gearing up for the Sony LIV drama Tanav which is a remake of the popular Israeli drama Fauda. On the other hand, Patna Shukla is expected to be a social satire starring Raveena Tandon along wih Manav Vij, Satish Kaushik, among others.

Alia Bhatt having a baby girl is a proud moment for Mahesh Bhatt, reveals Rahul Bhatt

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor took internet by storm over the weekend as the actress delivered their first child, a daughter in Mumbai. While not many from the family have opened up about the moment, since they are all busy prepping for the arrival of the baby, grandmother aka ‘did’ Neetu Kapoor, in her brief interaction with media, assured that the mother is fine and spoke about how adorable the little one. Adding to it, is Alia’s brother Rahul Bhatt who recently spoke about becoming ‘mama’ aka uncle.

In an interview with Bombay Times, Rahul Bhatt also asserted that both the mother and baby are ‘hale and hearty’ as he shared his excitement of becoming a mama. He also spoke about how it is a proud moment for his father Mahesh Bhatt. “He’s the proudest person right now. He couldn’t wait for the baby’s arrival. What has happened is that he has had three daughters (Pooja, Shaheen and Alia), so it is a déjà vu of sorts for him. He is comparing this to the time when his first daughter, Pooja was born,” said Rahul.

He also continued speaking about the kind of parents Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor will be adding, “Alia is very responsible, and I think Ranbir will be an extremely hands on dad.”

Alia Bhatt delivered a baby girl on November 6 at HN Reliance Hospital in Mumbai. The actress also posted a note on social media sharing the moment with her friends and fans saying, “And in the best news of our lives: Our baby is here.. and what a magical girl she is. We are officially bursting with love – blessed and obsessed PARENTS!!!!! Love love love.”

On the work front, last seen in Brahmastra, Alia Bhatt will next be seen in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani with Ranveer Singh that is yet to finalize its release date. The actress will also be making her Hollywood debut soon with the Gal Gadot starrer Heart Of Stone.
