In his tweet, the producer wrote, “Namaste India! I see you. Your diversity continues to amaze me. I am so excited for you to experience #AvatarTheWayOfWater in 6 languages – English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. Let’s celebrate the return to Pandora on 16th Dec. Please enjoy the Kannada trailer.”
For the unversed, the first part of this intergalactic epic film, directed by James Cameron, was released in the year 2009. During the release, the second part of the film was also announced. However, it took almost 13 years for James Cameron to bring the idea of Avatar 2 to the canvas.

The trailer of this film, which was released recently, took the internet by storm as soon as it arrived. The film will be released across the globe on December 16. The sequel features the return of Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Joel David Moore, Dileep Rao, Stephen Lang, Matt Gerald, and Sigourney Weaver. Additional cast members include Kate Winslet, Edie Falco, Michelle Yeoh, Vin Diesel, Jemaine Clement, and Oona Chaplin, among others.
Coming to the franchise, Avatar 3 is tentatively scheduled for December 20, 2024 followed by Avatar 4 to come out on December 18, 2026, and Avatar 5 on December 22, 2028.

The film stars Shah Rukh Khan, who is coming back to the big screen after a gap of four years, the ethereally gorgeous Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, who plays SRK’s nemesis! Siddharth says Pathaan will present Deepika at her hottest and coolest best and she will mesmerise everyone with her sizzling screen presence like never before!
Siddharth says, “Deepika Padukone is up there with the biggest of superstars in the history of Hindi cinema. And we knew we had written a role for her in Pathaan that is not only breathtaking but one that also justifies her superstardom. Pathaan will showcase her in probably her hottest and at the same time, the coolest self.”
SRK and Deepika are one of the biggest on-screen pairings in the history of Indian cinema given their epic blockbusters like Om Shanti Om, Chennai Express and Happy New Year. SRK and DP recently sizzled in Spain as leaked photos from the sets took the internet by storm. The glamourous duo shot a hugely mounted song in Mallorca as SRK was papped flaunting an eight-pack and DP her perfect bikini bod. They then headed to Cadiz and Jerez in Spain where they wrapped the schedule.
About the super-hot pairing of SRK and DP, Siddharth says, “The on-screen jodi of Deepika and Shah Rukh Khan is probably one of the biggest pairings that Indian cinema has ever seen, given their incredible successes in the past. And in Pathaan we have presented SRK and DP in a way that’s unprecedented.”
He adds, “They have electric chemistry with each other and they look just so hot together. It’s rare to find a pairing like theirs and their jodi is a huge USP for Pathaan.”
Pathaan is set to release on Jan 25, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

A couple of days ago, Vivek teased his fans by sharing a cryptic poster. Though the poster seemed intriguing, it did not reveal the name of the film. Now, the wait is finally over as the director has announced the title, The Vaccine War.
On Thursday, Vivek Agnihotri took to his social media handle and unveiled the first poster of his upcoming film, The Vaccine War. The poster features a bottle of the vaccine. Interestingly, the sticker on it read, “I am Buddha presents The Vaccine War.” It further read, “A true story”. At the bottom of the poster, the director mentioned its release date, which will be Independence Day 2023.
Captioning the post, the renowned director wrote a short write-up, which read, “ANNOUNCEMENT: / Presenting ‘THE VACCINE WAR’ – an incredible true story of a war that you didn’t know India fought. And won with its science, courage & great Indian values. / It will be released on Independence Day, 2023. In 11 languages.” He also urged his fans to “bless” the team.

Interestingly, the forthcoming Vivek Agnihotri directorial will clash with the Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal, slated to release on August 11, 2023. For the unversed, Animal will be a pan-India film. It is said that the film will revolve around a gangster family and is being extensively shot in Mumbai and Delhi.
Animal marks the first collaboration of Kabir Singh director Sandeep Reddy Vanga with Ranbir Kapoor and the latter’s first onscreen appearance with Rashmika Mandanna.

While we have seen many of his talents, did you know that the actor a lot into music, especially hip hop music. Vijay is the brand ambassador of Breezer Vivid Shuffle and in a recent exclusive interaction with Bollywood Hungama, the South superstar spoke about what music means to him and his love and fondness for hip hop.
Speaking about how he likes to listen to music in his free time, Vijay said, “When I’m not shooting I’m working on for like three hours a day and those three hours I need music to motivate me. It helps me feel good and sometimes you resonate with the philosophy of the song. When I’m in my caravan when I’m at shoot, sometimes I listen to it. Music is beautiful, music is important.” Further speaking about hip hop he added, “It is the genre that I listen to the most. And if you go to my playlists, nine out of 10 songs will be from this genre. It’s the kind of music where you’re drawn to a certain width and style of it. You have to listen to it first.”
Recalling how he got his hands on this kind of music, Vijay continued, “I don’t remember if I heard it from friends, or I heard it on TV. I know that it happened around the age of 17-18 (years old). Because before that, I was in a boarding school where we didn’t have access to the world as much we have now, it was like a very strict religious school. So when I moved back to Hyderabad, from the boarding school, I think I got exposed to hip hop. It was Eminem and Dr. Dre in those days and I just took to their style of music.”
Giving us a glimpse of his Hip Hop playlist, Vijay added, “I enjoy Black Eyed Peas. Eminem, Kanye. Travis Scott. Recently, a lot of Indian artists have been making their way into in to my playlist. The latest song that I’m tripping on a lot is a song called ‘Jalala’. It’s on loop.” He also discussed how the influence of hip hop is present everywhere from clothes to dance. He shared, “Hip hop is freeing. You can express yourself in any way. In terms of fashion, before hip hop, you couldn’t write stuff on clothes. There was never a culture of expressing yourself through text and graffiti on clothes or a formal shirt or suit. But once hip hop came into the scene, people started expressing their feelings through the clothes, colors, speech and even through bars and drawings. So it’s a creative world where they express themselves freely and I’m attracted to it.”
The actor not only loves the music but also expressed his fondness towards the dance form. “I enjoy watching it a lot. I can spend hours watching it. I enjoy doing it also a little bit,” he said.
Speaking about his recent block party that he attended in Hyderabad, Vijay revealed that it was BVS aka Breezer Vivid Shuffle’s one of the first ground events after the pandemic. He said, “The last two years BVs was digital. And this is the first year we went ground. But it was time and I was excited about. And this time we could see everything happening but personally. So it was the first big on ground event because till then we were mostly digital, the last couple of seasons. I loved soaking in the atmosphere of the hip hop festival and seeing all the talent and meeting all the fans.”
Talking about how he loved his association with BVS, Vijay added, “I enjoy it. I’m happy with the Association. And that’s why we are in two years three. And I look forward to a lot more. It’s easy Association. It’s a nice match.” Further elaborating on the campaign, Vijay explained, “We’ve already shot the majority of the marketing campaign and I had a lot of fun. It’s always fun shooting the marketing campaign of Breezer.”
In the concluding statement, Vijay dedicated an important message to hip hop fans saying, “To express yourself confidently and, and put yourself in everything. We can very easily go into a sort of imitation. But I think the guys who stick the guys who you’ll find a natural magnetic attraction towards are the ones who are true to everything. There’s something very original about them. So be confident and just do original.”

Bollywood Hungama has now found out that there has been a change in plans. An exhibition source told Bollywood Hungama, “The film is expected to release in just 450-475 screens in India. This is quite less for a mid-sized film, featuring an A-lister and made by a blockbuster director. As per the instructions given to the theatres, the shows of the film should commence only after 11:00 am. Moreover, multiplexes with five or more screens are asked to play only four shows at the maximum. Theatres with less than 5 screens are told that they can have around 2 or 3 shows a day.”
To put things into perspective, the last solo Amitabh Bachchan starrer, Jhund (2022), was released in around 1200 screens. Chehre (2021), was released at a time when cinemas were shut in Maharashtra, and yet it got a release in nearly 1000 screens.
The source continued, “Several exhibitors are stunned by this request. We don’t remember the last time such a big film was released with such limited shows. Some multiplexes in fact wanted to play more shows but they were told not to do so.”
When asked the reason behind this release strategy, the source replied, “Perhaps, the makers are following the old Rajshri model of release. They famously released their biggest blockbuster, Hum Aapke Hain Koun (1994), in very limited screens in week 1. And as the word spread and demand increased, the number of prints also increased. They are hoping that Uunchai can also go the same way. If the word of mouth is positive and demand increases, the shows will increase in the days to come, like it recently happened in the case of films like Karthikeya 2 and Kantara. Also, with such a tight release, there’s no possibility of shows getting cancelled due to the zero audience.”
An industry expert meanwhile said, “In today’s times, we keep hearing of the producers claiming that their film is getting the widest release ever. In such a scenario, Uunchai is getting a tight or rather ‘narrow’ release.”
Directed by Sooraj Barjatya, Uunchai stars Amitabh Bachchan, Parineeti Chopra, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Danny Denzongpa, Neena Gupta and Sarika. It releases on November 11, 2022.
