Uorfi Javed claims a group of teenagers are abusing and harassing her: ‘I am going to file a police complaint against the 10 of them’

Popular former Bigg Boss participant Uorfi Javed is often in the headlines for her bold outfit choices and her social media. She often has brawls on the internet. Following her spat with author Chetan Bhagat, it seems like Uorfi is facing yet another issue. This time, she has called out a group of teenagers claiming that they have been harassing and abusing her.

She took to her Instagram story to share a profile of a teenage boy and tagged him saying, “This kid and his 10 friends have been calling me nonstop (I have been using the same number for 10 numbers, I don’t know from where did they get it). They are calling and abusing me. What is wrong with kids these days? Harassing me for no reason! I am going to file a police complaint against the 10 of them but if anyone knows their parents, let me know. I’ll reward you!”

It didn’t end there as the boy reposted her post. She further wrote, “The next generation is doomed! This kid is even resharing the story with so much pride. This kid and his friends prank call and abuse girls and then flaunt it instead of being sorry!”

Uorfi Javed said that she has decided to file a police complaint and also wants to let their parents know what the teenagers are doing on social media.

Akshay Kumar responds to a person at Red Sea Festival who said Bellbottom has things against Pakistan

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar was in attendance at the ongoing Red Sea International Film Festival in Saudi Arabia. The actor was questioned by a person from Pakistan about his film Bellbottom and said that the film had portions against Pakistan. The actor said that it is just a movie and there is no need to get serious about it.

During a conversation session at the festival, a man asked Akshay, “I’m from Pakistan, your neighbour country. I have a request. You do fantastic movies like Pad Man and Toilet. There is an issue between India and Pakistan as well. Your recent movie Bell Bottom has certain things against Pakistan.”

Akshay responded by saying, “Sir, it’s just a movie. Don’t get so serious about it. It’s just a movie. There are many things like that. It’s just a movie, sir.”

Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar will next star in Selfiee with Emraan Hashmi, Nushrratt Bharuccha and Diana Penty. He will play a Sikh character in Jaswant Singh Gill’s biopic called Capsule Gill which highlights the heroic deed of the mining engineer who ended up saving many lives during a catastrophe. He has Gorkha, Soorarai Pottru remake and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan in the works too. He most recently made a cameo in Ayushmann Khurrana starrer An Action Hero.

Aamir Khan gets emotional as he recalls the time when they were almost on the streets

After the debacle of Laal Singh Chaddha, Aamir Khan announced a break from doing Bollywood. The actor-producer recently celebrated a special moment in his life as a proud father as his daughter Ira Khan (with first wife Reema) and her fiancé Nupur Shikhare hosted a special engagement bash for their family, friends and relatives. Now, the actor has given a heartfelt interview to Humans of Bombay in which he recalled the time when his family struggled for family. He revealed that his father Tahir Hussain was a great producer but a bad businessman as he was always paying off debts.

Recalling the struggling days, Aamir Khan said, “I remember there was this film called Locket. It had Jitendra, Rekha, Kader Khan, like some of the biggest actors. At that point of time, actors would do about 30 films a year. So if you are not that famous a producer, you wouldn’t get that kind of priority. So my father would get pushed around. This film got stuck for dates and it took eight years for my father to make it.” Talking about how people would often call at his residence, demanding their money, Aamir added, “Situation was so bad that we were almost on the streets.”

He continued, “Unko problem mein dekh ke takleef hoti thi kyuki un logon ke phone aate the jinse paise liye hain. Unka jhagda shuru hojata tha phone pe ki ‘main kya karu, mere paas paise nahi hai. Meri film atki hai, mere actors ko boliye dates dein mujhe, main kya karu.’ (we were so troubled and hurt to see him in that condition. People, who had loaned him money, would call. They would start arguing and fighting as my father would insist that he doesn’t have any money to pay them off. He would question them saying that his film is stuck because actors are not giving him dates, what should I do?)”

The actor became emotional when he reminisced about how he, a 10-year-old boy then, felt helpless about not being able help out his father. “The thing that would trouble us most was to see our father like that. He was a very simple man. Maybe he didn’t have enough sense that he should not have taken so much loan,” he added.

“My father was an above average producer. His sensibilities were nice and he did choose good stories but he didn’t understand business. We can only draw this conclusion because his films have worked well but he was always in debt,” he concluded.

Anushka Sharma REVIEWS Triptii Dimri, Babil Khan starrer Qala; calls it ‘heartbreaking and exhilarating equally’

Anushka Sharma, who is currently working on Chakda Xpress, will soon be releasing the sports biopic on OTT. As she is busy juggling between work and personal commitments, the actress caught up with a recent release on Netflix – Qala. The film in question features Triptii Dimri in the titular character and it also marks the acting debut of Babil Khan, son of Irrfan Khan. Anushka, who has worked with Triptii in her production Bulbbul, was rather impressed with her other Netflix release, and heaped praises on not just the actress but also the entire team of the film.

Anushka Sharma took to Instagram to share her review and opinion about Qala and defined it as a true work of art. She posted in her story saying, “A daughters heartbreaking yearning for her mother’s love. Qala is a work of art. It’s heartbreaking and exhilarating equally. Exhilarating because of the genius of each department that comes through in telling this detailed story and heartbreaking for portraying emotional abuse by an emotionally unstable parent in a way that’s never been done before by a film.”

She further went on to detail out how much she loved the work of the team of the film. She continued, “@anvita_dee UFF!! Your story telling is so true and original and you tell it like a poet, like a painting! You have detailed this film so excellently! @tripti_dimri WOW! You are one of the most talented actors of this generation! Qala is a period drama set against the backdrop of 1930s Kolkata and is revolves around the life of a singer and the music industry. The film features Babil Khan and Triptii Dimri as singers.

Ram Charan receives the True Legend – Future of Young India Award in Delhi

After completing the international shoot schedule of RC15 with Kiara Advani and the rest of the team, Ram Charan recently attended an award ceremony in Delhi where there was an addition made to his already long list of accolades. The actor received the True Legend – Future of Young India Award. Apart from being a popular actor, Ram is also a philanthropist who always ensures to also work towards the benefit of the society.

Talking about the recent win, a source close to the actor said, “Ram has always been keen on using his position in society to create a positive impact. Even with the roles that he has chosen to play in films, he wants to positively inspire people, especially the youth, all around the world. It comes as no surprise that he has received this award. He always wanted to play roles that give a message to the audience. His films have been acclaimed not only all over India but on a global scale. Even his role in the super hit RRR was extremely noteworthy and praised by audiences all over the world.”

His father and megastar Chiranjeevi showcases his proud father side by taking to social media and posting a sweet congratulatory message for him. On the work front, Ram Charan will be completing RC15 which is directed by the famous Tamil filmmaker S Shankar and features Kiara Advani as his leading lady. While the film has already gone on floors, recently the actor also announced RC16, his next film with Buchi Babu Sana of Uppena fame. However, further details on the film are currently under wraps.

Nandamuri Balakrishna, Shruti Haasan starrer Veer Simha Reddy to release on January 12, 2023

Nandamuri Balakrishna and filmmaker Gopichand Malineni will be coming together for Veera Simha Reddy created a great deal of buzz among the masses as it features the mass hero in a fierce new avatar. The title and first-look poster increased prospects, whereas the first single ‘Jai Balayya’ seems to have added to the anticipation. The makers came up with a big update regarding the film’s release date. Veera Simha Reddy will release worldwide grandly for Sankranthi on January 12, 2023.

In a recent post, the makers shared an announcement poster along with the release date, presents Balakrishna in a serious look. The poster features an intense look of Nandamuri Balakrishna where he seems to be warning his enemies by pointing finger towards them. Confirming the release date, a source close to the film revealed about the reason behind choosing this date saying, “Sankranthi is the biggest festival for Telugites and it is a positive sentiment for Balakrishna as well since several of his movies released for the festival turned out to be blockbusters to industry hits. The makers are expecting that these long festival holidays will favor the movie big time to rake in massive openings.”

Readers would recall that Shruti Haasan will be seen playing the leading lady, whereas Duniya Vijay, and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and others will be seen in pivotal roles. S Thaman has provided music, while Rishi Punjabi is taking care of the cinematography. Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar are producing the film and acclaimed writer Sai Madhav Burra has provided the dialogues. National Award-Winning Craftsman Navin Nooli is handling the editing and AS Prakash is the production designer. Chandu Ravipati is the executive producer for the film along with stunt sequences handled by Ram-Lakshman duo and Venkat.

Along with a massive team, the film is now expected to hit the big screens on January 12, 2023.

Drishyam 2 Box Office: Film is extraordinary on third Saturday; collects Rs. 8.45 cr on Day 16

It was an extraordinary Saturday for Drishyam 2 as the collections almost jumped double from Friday to Saturday. This was the case for Bhediya also, though on lower levels, and here Drishyam 2 is doing that by playing on much higher numbers and that too in the third week. The film is trending like no other Hindi film has in 2022 (battling The Kashmir Files) and with an open week ahead of it, this could go anywhere.

While on Friday the film had collected Rs. 4.45 crores, Saturday numbers were really huge at Rs. 8.45 crores. Leave aside absolute or relative numbers, pre-pandemic or post-pandemic, competition or no competition, mass or class belt, or first or third week, such kind of collections would be truly admirable anytime and that’s what making Drishyam 2 the blockbuster that it is. The film is clearly the first choice of audiences all over and that’s reflecting in the way the box office has been exceeding expectations from the very first day of release.

So far, the film has collected Rs. 176.38 crores and while Rs. 185 crores would be comfortably surpassed today, it could well find itself in Rs. 187-188 crores range as well. Now, an entry into the Rs. 200 Crore Club before close of third week would be a cakewalk for the Abhishek Pathak directed suspense drama.
