Ranveer Singh stands out in an all-black ensemble with a ruffled shirt and flared pants for Cirkus promotions

Ranveer Singh is known for a variety of things, but we put his eye-catching clothes at the top of the list over his amazing cinematic performances and swoon-worthy screen presence. From androgyny to utterly suave attire, we can’t think of a style that we haven’t loved for his unwavering vision on how to pull off every appearance that comes his way. He has the ability to turn anything into a fashion statement as well. Ranveer Singh has certainly worn odd and crazy fashion trends before and has disproved the notion that men’s fashion is a no-experiment zone. The legendary Bollywood performer is renowned for embracing the wackiest men’s fashion trends conceivable. Cirkus, Ranveer Singh’s upcoming film, is almost ready for release. the comedy drama is directed by Rohit Shetty.  Ranveer has kickstarted the promotions of the film and he is showcasing his appearance and experiments with fashion at each promotional event.

Even though Ranveer’s extremely distinctively quirky looks were more muted this time, it was still a joy. He chose an all-black outfit for a recent event and looked dapper as ever. He selected a straight-cut, black shirt with a turn-down collar and a loose fit. button placket with ruffled trim and concealed buttons. His shirt has elasticized cuffs with ruffled details and long sleeves with adjustable buttoning. His shirt has a Victorian aesthetic. He wore black pants with a flared hem and tucked his shirt in nicely. He completed his ensemble with a beret cap, a locket, black shoes, and clear black spectacles. He completed his appearance with a perfectly trimmed beard and hair.

Regarding Cirkus, Ranveer Singh plays two roles in the trailer. The trailer opens with a scene from a circus where Ranveer Singh, better known as “Electric Man,” is doing one of his stunts. He goes back in time to the 1960s when the trick goes awry. He looks like an electric man (his doppelganger). Ranveer Singh’s next film, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, which also stars Alia Bhatt, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, and Dharmendra, is scheduled for release in the near future. On April 28 of next year, it will be released in theatres.

Govinda Naam Mera and Avatar: The Way Of Water – 2 films with Govinda connection to release on December 16, 2022

The last two weeks have been a downer from the box office point of view. An Action Hero failed to put up good numbers despite massive appreciation. This week’s releases like Salaam Venky, Vadh, Maarrich etc also had very poor collections. All eyes are now on the coming Friday – December 16 – which will see the release of Avatar: The Way Of Water. The Hollywood biggie has generated tremendous excitement and is all set to take one of the biggest openings of all time. And on digital, Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions will release Govinda Naam Mera directly on Disney+ Hotstar. It stars Vicky Kaushal, Kiara Advani and Bhumi Pednekar and this Shashank Khaitan-directorial looks like a fun mystery thriller.

Incidentally, both these films have a Govinda connection. This is obvious in the case of Govinda Naam Mera. At the trailer launch of the film last month, Karan Johar was even asked whether the popular actor, known for his comic timing and impeccable dance, will be seen in the film. To which, Karan Johar replied, “No. With great regard and respect to Govinda ji; he’s an iconic actor in cinema. All we borrowed was (his) name perhaps. But it would have been beyond the madness that this film already has (to get him on board for the film). However, we do hope that we have his blessings because we are such big fans.”

Meanwhile, Avatar: The Way Of Water also has got associated with Govinda, especially after the latter’s unforgettable appearance on ‘Aap Ki Adalat’ in July 2019. On Rajat Sharma’s popular TV show, Govinda claimed that he was offered to play the lead in the first part, Avatar (2009), by master director James Cameron. Govinda said, “It was me who had given the title of the movie. I told (James Cameron) that your film will run successfully in cinemas. I also added that your film will take at least seven years to complete. That infuriated him (laughs)!”

Govinda then continued, “I told him that the ‘avatar’ you want in the film is handicapped. Woh ishwar ka ansh hai aur apang hai…maine kaha ki yeh nahi hoga. And you want me to shoot for some 410 days and colour my body during the shoot. So I apologized for declining and left. And as predicted by me, the film was released 8 or 9 years later and was a super-hit!”

This confession of Govinda went viral. Also, a picture of him as a Na’vi character of Avatar became a legit meme and continues to be used by thousands of netizens.

Avatar is a story of a paraplegic Marine who is sent to a moon named Pandora to help extract a valuable mineral, Unobtanium. How he falls in love with a girl who’s Na’vi, a humanoid species indigenous to Pandora, forms the crux of the film.

Besharam Rang: Shah Rukh Khan flaunts his ab-tastic body, Deepika Padukone sizzles in hot bikini avatar in Pathaan song

The first song of Pathaan is out and showcases a sizzling romance between Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone. The song titled ‘Besharam Rang’ is composed by Vishal Dadlani and Sheykhar Ravjiani. SRK and Deepika are one of the biggest on-screen pairings and have starred in epic blockbusters Om Shanti Om, Chennai Express, and Happy New Year. The two sizzled in Spain as leaked photos from the sets of ‘Besharam Rang’ took the internet by storm! The glamourous duo shot this hugely mounted song in Mallorca as SRK was papped flaunting an eight-pack and Deepika her perfect bikini bod. They then headed to Cadiz and Jerez in Spain.

About the pairing, Siddharth said, “His chemistry with Deepika in the song is infectious. They are considered one of the all-time biggest on-screen jodis in the history of Hindi cinema, given their massive blockbusters, and this song presents them to their fans and audiences in a way that they have never seen before on screen. I am eagerly awaiting to see the reaction of people when the song drops tomorrow!”

Yash Raj Films’ action extravaganza, Pathaan, is part of Aditya Chopra’s ambitious spy universe and has the biggest superstars of the country Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham in it. The adrenaline-pumping, visually extravagant film is set to release on January 25, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.

Ranveer Singh visits The Kapil Sharma Show for Cirkus promotions; comedian wishes him good luck on Rohit Shetty directorial

Rohit Shetty is gearing up for the release of the highly anticipated Cirkus. The trailer was unveiled on December 2. The trailer promises unlimited entertainment and a laughter riot. The film marks a double role for Ranveer Singh for the first time. As the promotions began in full swing, the actors reached the sets of The Kapil Sharma Show this past weekend.

Kapil Sharma shared two photos with Ranveer Singh after the shoot. He wrote, “You can’t stay calm when he is around you ???? my super talented bro @ranveersingh lots of love n best wishes for #cirkus.” Ranveer left a comment on his post saying, “Love you Paaji !! Thank you for another joyous and memorable evening!!”

Most recently, the cast also reached the sets of the Marathi variety show, Chala Hawa Yeu Dya. Ranveer had shared glimpses from the fun-filled shoot.

After the massive success of Simmba and appearing in Sooryavanshi, Cirkus will mark the third outing of Rohit Shetty and Ranveer Singh. The film is based on The Comedy of Errors, which inspired the Gulzar cult comedy, Angoor and is set in the 1960s’. The film also stars Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez, Johny Lever, Siddharth Jadhav, Tiku Talsania, Sanjay Mishra, Vijay Patkar, Ashwini Kalsekar, Mukesh Tiwari, Vrajesh Hirjee, Brijendra Kala among others. Directed by Rohit Shetty, Cirkus is set to release theatrically this Christmas on 23rd December 2022.

Ranbir Kapoor congratulates Pakistan film industry for The Legend Of Maula Jatt, agrees to work with Pakistani crew: “No boundaries for artistes”

Ranbir Kapoor stepped out for his first international event after becoming a father. The actor attended the ongoing Red Sea International Film Festival in Saudi Arabia, where he received the Variety International Vanguard Actor Award. Over there, he praised the Pakistani blockbuster The Legend Of Maula Jatt starring Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan. He also said that there are no boundaries when it comes to art.

During a conversation, an audience member asked Ranbir Kapoor, “Now we have a platform like Saudi Arabia where we can jointly do films, I would love to sign you for a film. Would you be willing to work with the Pakistani team along with your team in Saudi Arabia?”

To which, the Brahmastra actor replied by saying that he would love to work on a project like this and congratulated the film industry of Pakistan for the success of The Legend of Maula Jatt. Ranbir said, “Of course sir. I think there are no boundaries for artistes, especially for arts. Many congratulations to the Pakistan film industry for (The Legend Of) Maula Jatt. It is one of the biggest hits that we have seen in the last few years. Of course, I would love to.”

Featuring Fawad as Maula Jatt and Mahira as Mukkho, the Punjabi-language film is a remake of the 1979 classic Maula Jatt. This marks Fawad and Mahira’s second stint after their 2014 drama, Humsafar. The film is from the times when the legends were written in soil with blood and a hero was born. Maula Jatt, a fierce prizefighter with a tortured past, seeks vengeance against his arch nemesis Noori Natt, the most feared warrior in the land of Punjab. Loyalties are challenged and families are torn apart in this epic tale of truth, honour and justice. The film is Pakistan’s biggest movie to date.

The film also features Hamza Ali Abbasi as Noori Natt, Humaima Malik as Daro, Faris Shafi as Mooda and Gohar Rasheed as Makha. It is produced by Ammara Hikmat’s Encyclomedia and Lashari Films. The film also stars Mirza Gohar Rasheed, Faris Shafi, Ali Azmat, Nayyer Ejaz, Shafqat Cheema, Raheela Agha, Zia Khan, and Saima Baloch. The movie was released in theatres on October 13 and is reportedly releasing in India on December 23.

On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor will next star in Luv Ranjan’s yet-untitled film with Shraddha Kapoor, which is scheduled for Holi 2023 release. He also has Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal in 2023 as well.
